BS company

I got one of their care tactic post cards listing warranty on 3 cars. Called to ask to remove me from their mailing list. The smart ass that answered the phone didn't identify himself yet asked for the owner ID # front of the card; asked to be removed, he insisted I tell him what vehicle I was calling about; I said it didn't make any difference I wanted my name/address removed; he then said why to that I told him I didn't deal with companies that used phishing scare tactics on when they had no idea what vehicle; he asked what phishing was, told him again I just wanted my name/address removed; he asked what problem I had with the vehicle, I finally told him I didn't want to deal with people like their company that were too stupid to know what they were doing then hung up. Called back about 5 minutes later, a "nice" guy answered, told him I wanted to be removed, he called me by my name and said no problem. Can't wait to turn this company over to the dealership. Can't see how this "company" stays in business with inconsiderate, smart assed people like the first one answering the phone.

Bad Company, Really Bad

I had same experience with this company (or companies, over 800 listed at same address in Florida). I called to cancel my policy that, after reading it, I did not like what I was reading as regards to phone conversation in which I felt somewhat coerced into purchasing, and I got the most rude individual, a man, that talked so fast I didn't get his name. He would not let me get a word in without continuing to delve out reasons why I would lose over $2000 when my car failed if I did not have this policy, and how could I afford not to have it, and on and on. When I did manage to squeeze in a word or two, he said I was so rude for interrupting him and that I did not know what I was talking about. I wished I had recorded this conversation. He was the most rude and obnoxious person I think I had ever dealt with, both on the phone, and in person. After this bashing went on for a number of minutes (lost count) he abruptly said "have a nice day" and hung up on me. Just prior to hang up he said something like "just don't make the payment and the policy would cancel". There should be a law against these boiler room scams to protect the innocent public.

Attorney researching direct marketing letters

Are you speaking of "EGV" or was it: EGS Administration LLC, formerly known as: Ensurety Group Services LLC., a Delaware Corporation, doing business in Missouri? On information and belief, individuals associated with EGS own or hold an interest in an entity administering a "vehicle service contract, ("VSC") program with "Omega Autocare". This program involves a direct marketing program that sends a post-card or letter that claims your car warranty has expired.

My interest, I handle Federal Class Actions in many states involving the unauthorized access to State DMV records, data that is used by some people/companies for a direct marketing program that sends a post-card or letter that claims your car warranty has expired. Here is some news stories about my work; moreover you can see my LinkedIn acct: joseph h malley
