In a case where I originally hired Petkevis and then he switched roles in the case, Petkevis was awarded attorney's fees by the court, but Petkevis wasn't happy with the court's decision on the amount awarded. In an effort to make him "go away", I offered a settlement in negotiations with Petkevis. Petkevis turned around and sent the presiding judge a letter, divulging terms of that outside settlement offer, implying that I agreed with his contest content of the court awarded amount. Nothing could be farther from the truth.
Petkevis told me in the middle of his representation of me in my case that his contract that he had me sign didn't specify that he had to pay me proceeds of my case at all. Petkevis is an unprofessional, spiteful, unethical firm in my opinion. Save yourself a battle with the lawyer you hired to help you. Look elsewhere!
