Ebay Inc. Reviews

I was billed for items that did not sell and went through the steps to cancel the sale and was still charged. They say it will take 30 days to refund I put a watch up for auction on eBay on 7/12/16 and unfortunately the the person who won the auction didn't move forward with buying the item and I made multiple attempts to reach the buyer with no avail. I canceled the sale on the 18th and emailed the buyer one last time as instructed by the eBay instructions. On 7/31/16 I was still charged a fee for the sale of the item of $751 that drained my bank account and left me with a negative balance. I called to complain and they stated I had a credit of $751 in my Ebay account. They said it would take up to 30 days to submit refund and it could not be expedited. I asked to talk to a supervisor and the associate said that they couldn't do anything either that I had to wait up to 30 days. The associate I talked to was named Beth and she gave me a confirmation # 1-815-747-297-64 Account ID: Atavius25

We recently put a pair of Frye boots for sale on ebay that we purchased at Belk. The auction sale price was $171.50.

The buyer known as bettysstealsndeals won the auction and we quickly sent the boots out via USPS.

A week latter the buyer filed a significantly not as describe claim with paypal claiming that the boots were fake. We submitted the original receipt from belk as evidence. Paypal ordered a refund following a return of the boots which would have been fine with me.

When the package arrived, we discovered the buyer had sent a completely different pair of boots with a $12 price tag still on them! We are in the process of disputing with paypal now and will continue to pursue avenues to get our money (or original boots) back.

Bought a Solar Pool Cover from these crooks on ebay. Bought wrong size and contacted them by email before it shipped to please get me the right size and I will pay the difference. They said no and shipped the wrong cover. I explained that I would return it and alert others to their horrible customer service tactics. Pool cover arrives and I ask ebay for a return. Fine, now I have to pay return shipping costs $27 if I use Ebay ,$60 if I ship usps myself. The cover was $72 with free shipping. So now I am out an additional $27 to return something that should have never shipped and it took 3 weeks to get my money less shipping back. I looked online and this is standard procedure for them, they hide under Ebay saying they can't change an order once its ordered. This is ridiculous, it cost them shipping and me shipping too. Then after all of this they asked me to cancel the order.Probably to avoid the negative feedback. I said no and left a negative review. You cannot say much because of space in your rebuttal. Then they answer to make it look like they are innocent and i'm the wrong one.

How can companies continue to rip us off like this and hide behind ebay. They even have a very good ebay rating and ebay just says send it back for a return less your postage and time. No apology, nothing from either party. I bought another cover cheaper from a reputable company. Don't patronize crooks like these, do your research first. There is bad press about them on the internet. Sorry I trusted Ebay and them, what a load of hooey. beware

eBay HAS A FRAUDULENT RETURN POLICY. I ordered an item with a 14 day eBay money back guarantee. The seller had agreed in writing to refund my money, and I sent it back unopened. When he did not issue the refund, and after contacting him, and recieving no response, I contacted eBay. The person that I spoke with was not helpful. She kept distorting the facts that I had given her. She told me that I had to open a case and wait 3 buisness days for the seller to respond.

When the seller did not respond, I called back, and was told that the seller refused the refund, they told me that they would not pursue the refund due to "buyers remorse", which they claimed is not covered in their guarentee. The person that I spoke with politly kept coming up with other reasons for not honoring the "money back guarantee". no where on the ad pages or on the listings does it say "money back except in the case of buyers remorse". I returned the item, furnished eBay with the tracking number, and proof of delivery, and they had the correspondence between myself and the seller. eBay IS DIGGING IT'S OWN GRAVE, WITH SUCH POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND FRADULENT CLAIMS.

eBay VIOLATING its own BUYER PROTECTION POLICY

I recently ordered a microphone off ebay Seller "southcoastmusic" - the item arrived damaged and was defective. "southcoastmusic"was alerted, but refused to acknowledge damage - or offer a refund. eBay was brought in to mediate and decided within only 1 minute that this was a case of Buyer's Remorse and that there was nothing wrong with item - so Buyer Protection wouldn't apply.

There was lengthy correspondence, which is impossible to read in just 1 minute - and noone can deny that an item is defective unless they have physically inspected it - but it turned out later that SELLER "southcoastmusic" HAD A FRIEND AT EBAY who decided for him regardless of facts and even escalated the case before the time frame was up. I had asked for escalation, too, but was told I had to wait - but for some mysterious reason, they made a special exception for "manual escalation" when the Seller "southcoastmusic" asked and decided within just 1 minute.

Clearly a case of nepotism and fraud - or maybe eBay Australia believes they can away with such tactics with foreign buyers.

Due Process looks different - and this is a clear case of defrauding a buyer.

Purchased item on ebay.

Claimed they never received it.

Opened dispute through Paypal.

Payment reversed.

If this buyer purchases from you, make sure you send it tracked or recorded delivery.

I am in a hurry, on my way home.. Basically, this is my last purchase of OEP online.. All OEP is fake online. This seller was the most expensive. Paid $201.00 2 wks ago. No results. With authentic OEP I had to stop taking it because I lost so much in a week without exercise. Everyone knows the real deal! They all sell, then disappear but eventually return to be found again. You can run but you cannot hide... from ME. You people were warned. I am going to have the contents tested and notify the FDA.

I bought a 44 inch tire to go down the river on eBay from clearcreektubes2011. Item shipped, the tracker showed it came back undeliverable to that address on the 21st then got "forwarded" ( reshipped) out to a listing of an area code of 44331 and NO other part of the so called reshipment was shown just a zip code. Two things, first, I have NO listing on eBay of EVER living at no 44331 area code. Another thing, how do u ship to ONLY a zip code and no other part of the supposed address is listed? I escalated to claims, they took the side of the seller and said it was shipped and received. Ummmm yep shipped to 44331 which I've never in my entire life lived at. Then I wrote a review about what happened and they pulled the review for sellers protection. Um wtf all I did was state what happened. What's wrong eBay? Sound bad on the seller that you sided with? So they stole my money and I have NOTHING to show for it. Maybe eBay is just a*s kissers who just wanna sellout to whomever makes them money and HIDE the truth and not let you post FACTS

Buyer purchased a mobility scooter from me on 3/15/2016. On 3/28/2015 the buyer requested to return the item stating that the scooter was unsafe to use as it turned over when being driven up a ramp. We had a technician reach out to the buyer and it was confirmed that the scooter was being used by someone above the weight capacity and the ramp was steeper than was safety tested. The buyer still claimed that the item was damaged. We asked for photos, and all he showed was a photo of a knob that was slightly chipped, which looked like something he damaged on his own.

We offered to replace the part that he was showing as damaged but he refused. He claimed that the scooter was unbalanced, but refused to show photo or video proof. On 4/23/2016 eBay escalated the case and forced me to send a return shipping label at my expense, although it was clear that this was a case of buyer's remorse and misuse of an item. I sent the label on 4/26/2016. eBay policy clearly states that a buyer has 10 days to send back an item from whenever they get the return label. On 5/7/2016, I got an email from eBay letting me know that as the return period expired, this case was now closed and "NO FURTHER ACTION WAS REQUIRED" from me.

The buyer went ahead and sent back the unit, on that same day 5/7/2016, after the case was closed, on the 11th day after he got the label. On 5/28/2016 eBay stole $2049 out of my Paypal account and refunded it to the buyer, even though he returned the unit past the 10 day timeframe. The email they sent me stated that they were waiting for me to refund the buyer, and as I hadn't done it, they forced the refund. That was after I got an email from eBay on 5/7/2016 stating that no further action was required on my part! I called in to eBay and spoke to Holton from the leadership team who was most rude and disrespectful!

He threatened to bang down on me a few times during the conversation, and refused to answer my questions. It is obvious that the 10 day timeframe was missed, as the automated system eBay has in place closed the case on 5/7/2016. The system does not allow cases to be closed until AFTER 10 full days, and closes cases that time out on the 11th day. The eBay reps I spoke to regarding this case could not give me a proper explanation as to why the case would be closed if the timeframe was not up. That is because there is no such thing! The timeframe had expired and therefore the buyer was no longer eligible to send the item back for a refund. Taking money out of my account to refund the buyer is stealing, practicing double standards and completely unethical!

Due to one disputed return due to the buyer lieing about my packaging, slandering my name, harassing her postal carrier, my seller performance was placed on below standard and my items went from 250 per month to 110! With only one email sent to me and this action happened immediately. I call to try to reason with them and was treated in a rude and disrespectful manner. This is a venue where you pay the highest fees, it is not a partnership and you get treated like dirt. Because of this it will take me 3 months to increase my level again. With no sellers/items there would be no eBay. This company needs to come back down to reality. They only care about the money and could care less about their sellers! It is time to find a new venue sellers. eBay is no longer the forum it once was and the Management is very unkind, rude, and unjust! We bought the items we are selling and a buyer can rip you off in a second lying about an item being broken, or just not pay you with no recourse from eBay! They need a wake up call and a reality check. In a partnership there has to be trust. I no longer have trust or respect for them.

I sold two motors last year and was ripped off They said motors were damaged in shipping so I file a complaint threw Fedex Claims. The investgated the claim and stated to me on the phone that there was no damage to the box or packing from the box. Claim was dined, said this kind of damage did not happen in shipping. They said it looked like someone took a big hammer too.

By this time buyer already filed a complaint threw Ebay. Ebay gave them there money back and charged my account for the fees, shipping fees and all the money.

The motor weeks later getting back motors to my house were totaly distroyed , Nothing but scrap. The cast metals were broken and the top was crushed. Look like someone too a 20 lb hammer to and shipped it back.

Ebay refused to cover this and charged me all the fees and took my money. 693.56 returned money plus shiipping 120.00 about 60.00 plus in shipping fees and final Value fees. I paid 120,00 for the motors too.

total out about 993.56

I am a seller with ebay, I sold a Keurig 2.0 K550 on march 5 I fully tested the touch screen ran several K'cups & water through the unit, I sent it out in a timely manor. I used a 20' x 20' x 18 box to ship it I shrink wrapped the unit tight to make sure unit would not move I packed it tight with pop corn. customer received unit after couple days it was on a saterday said not working will not brew water I took the weekend off on monday I see I have a return request open and ebay charged me return shipping so i let it slide do to they have 14 days to return item. When the mailman arrived i received back my box used to ship item and it was beat to hell I opended up box the unit was in pieces side of unit was bowed out the unit was full of popcorn shipping supplies the top of unit seperated it was in a condition that looked like someone slamed it on the ground I took picture and called ebay and said i had to prove it was damaged do to they were not there when they shipped it back to me i sent pictures and ebay said not good enough i have filed a bbb complaint as well and per policy ebay says they do not know if i doctored the photos but angain took the buyers photos and said it is a part of e commerce business how is it ok for a buyer to buy a product and yet all they do is yell defective product automatic return no questions asked and can damage a product do to not having the midset of just no concern when shipping a product back go search bbb ebay even with a A+ rating and sever thousand complaints they get away with ripping off people i am not the only seller ebay is doint this too i just spoke with ebay they hit me with a defective product and says no seller resolution and now i will loose my top rated seller ranking do to this and i had 100% feedback and now 98.

8 % do to this buyer who has no remore for there action and is not held to uphold any ebay policy and ebay does not hold the buyer responseable for anything after 10 to 15 phone calls to ebay and getting no responce to resolving this i am now posting here it cost money to purchase item to sell it cost money to get item back it cost money to ship item and it cost money to close return and yet ebay is doing nothing which in turn either i switch to amazon or shopify or topphatter and ebay loose money from me and others or they step up so when they screwwed me they screwed them case they make money off me also if you sell on EBAY watch the shipping calculator it is messing up costing sellers money too

Thecrystalroseshop is a fraud. I strongly advise against buying or selling anything to this individual on ebay or any similar sites. Donna Resnick is a thief and cannot be trusted. She will lie, steal, and cheat to make a dime. If you do business with Donna Resnick expect to find yourself having to battle paypal to get your money back or to get paid. There are plenty of reputable people selling of ebay you should avoid Thecrystalroseshop at all costs.

I purchased a 32GB memory card from Victoryduanshop on Ebay for $6.93, which included shipping. Two days later i was sent a tracking number, which indicated a label was printed, and delivery by DHL was expected. However, DHL had no record of a package being given to them.

After two weeks, tracking indicated that only a label had been printed, and nothing had been given to the post office. Yes, the tracking number changed from DHL to USPS. I emailed Victoryduanshop via Ebay, and asked them when my order would be shipped. They wrote back and said it had been shipped 15 days ago, even though the tracking number indicated that no package was ever accepted by USPS.

I emailed them again, and said again, the package has not been shipped yet, and asked them to look at the tracking number they provided. They refused and told me I would have to check with DHL and the post office. Of course, neither had a record of my package, and only had a record of a label being printed by victoryduanshop.

I emailed victoryduanshop again, an they continued to insist they had sent the package, and it was now up to me to figure out why I had not received it. Clearly, they did not comprehend the difference between printing a label, and actually taking a parcel to the post office for shipping.

I emailed them several more times trying desperately to convince them of their error, but they continued to deny their mistake.

At this point, they provided another tracking number, which was fraudulant, and no record of it exsisted with DHL, USPS, UPS or FedEx.

I then filed a claim with Ebay. Ebay immediately refunded my money (I do mean immediately). The money I paid was back in my account within two minutes of filing the claim.

I notified Victoryduanshop, and they continued to claim they had sent my package, and refused to accept the fact that they never shipped it.

At that point, I posted negative (but honest) feedback on Ebay for the transaction.

WOW, now Vistoryduanshop emails me everyday, saying they are sorry, and wants me to retract my feedback, however after more than a dozen emails, they still refuse to take responsibility for their mistake. They refuse any option I have given them to provide decent customer service.

They refused to offer a discount coupon, send a free item (even if its something other than what I ordered), refused a written apology other than email, etc.

On 12/30/15 I purchased from the seller via Ebay what was described as a simulated diamond ring. The item was received on 1/11/16. On or about 2/17/16 I noticed that the color of the outer edge of the ring's stone appeared cloudy. Over the next several days the problem became increasingly worse, and eventually round shaped, plastic looking items could be seen through the top layer of the stone. After several failed attempts to reach the seller, I posted a negative review on Ebay, after which I received an emailed response from the seller. Through several emails and a telephone conversation, seller and I reached an agreement that upon me revising negative Ebay feedback and return of the ring, the seller would issue to me a full purchase price refund. At my request, then seller sent an email verifying this agreement. I satisfied terms of said agreement, and on 3/4/16 I received an email from the seller stating that the ring had been received and a refund had been issued to my Paypal account. However, the refund was not received. Upon my initial contact with the seller, I was asked to check my account, as refund had allegedly been processed. When still not received, numerous subsequent communications with the seller were met with unreturned phone calls; lies; misrepresentations; confirmation that refund was never issued; and repeated attempts to void agreement to provide full refund. A dispute was filed with Paypal, and the seller denied the request to amicably resolve the dispute. The dispute was escalated to a claim, and on 3/20/2016, Paypal issued a ruling in my favor. I strongly believe that the seller is marketing fraudulent simulated diamonds and further participating in unethical merchant practices. The agreement made with me to provide a refund was obviously a bait and switch tactic aimed solely at having negative feedback revised. Consumers should be ware of the names Clara Pucci, Bosi Imports Corporation, and Eimanorah Jewelry. They are one in the same and unworthy of your business. I have been fully refunded by PayPal. Therefore, this report is not aimed at financial resolution but instead to make sure other consumers are not victimized by this fradulent merchant.

Ebay is no longer the wonderful onine purchase and selling company. I exactly do not understand

how awful my recent purchases became thru the deals from E-bay sellers!

The major experience thru an E-bay seller has become a major reason, I will no

longer purchase thru E-bay!. The last seller I dealt with convinced me to save

my money and purchase from Amazon or other online companies!

In my last and probably last E-bay purchase, involved a seller that

was so aggravating and stressful, now is the time to end E-bay

purchasing with their out-sourced E-bay customer representatives!

E-bay appears to have out-sourced nearly all customer service!

E-bay ( out-sourced employee's) only appear to understand

first and last names!. Beyond this your questions or concerns

will only result in conversations that circle around and around,

accomplishing nothing in terms of service for you as an

E-bay customer, especially a buyer of e-bay items.

Amazon is now involved with deliveries from E-bay

sellers, which result in nearly no refunds since items

are purchases on E-bay and are not the responsibility

of Amazon!. This is a major reason for my closing

my over twenty years E-bay history!

In ending my review, I would suggest E-bay buyers

be prepared for stress from sellers, inability to

communicate with their E-bay customer

service and other forms of aggravation!

These are a "GIVEN".

Good E=bay Luck, you will need that!

I purchased TWO bottles of OEP with 1,3 DMAA and was ripped off ($174.99/bottle) basically. The bottles don't even have the hologram on them to prove authenticity. The seller has disappeared again and ebay isn't helping at all. At least, on Amazon I received a refund. Anything can be in these pills. Cocaine can be in these pills. I was very desperate and naive but I am exposing this person. I warned them I am reporting them here and uploading the photos. I have done my part. I used paypal for the transactions but paypal redirected me back to ebay for a possible resolution that is not envisioned since the seller is in hiding. This will fish him/her out.

Because of ebay’s flawed shipping calculator, I lost money on a transaction. Be extremely careful any time you use this service, because ebay strongly favors the needs of buyers over sellers. In effect, the company rips off sellers to attract more buyers.

A few weeks ago, I decided to sell a gently used telescope, put it up for auction on ebay at the site’s suggestion, and trusted ebay’s shipping cost calculator to give me an accurate reading. It said shipping would be $12.80.

A guy from Florida with a Hispanic name bought the telescope for the minimum possible bid of $22.50. I went ahead and paid for the shipping through ebay because the site gave a small discount through the U.S. Postal Service. But when I took it to the post office, it wound up costing $19.10 more than the calculator had said. Since I had already paid for the partial shipping and didn’t want to get a bad rating from the buyer, I went ahead and shipped the telescope.

Ebay and Paypal suggested I invoice the buyer for the extra shipping, so I did. But the buyer sent a cryptic message back in Spanish refusing to pay anything further.

I called ebay customer service, and a representative said the company might be able to help me if the buyer didn’t come through. But when I called back again, all ebay would do for me was refund my $3.50 administrative fee. When I asked if I could give the buyer a negative rating, I was told that I would not be allowed to do so because it would scare him away from purchasing through ebay again. In fact, the ebay system does not allow a seller to give anything but positive feedback. I find it particularly unfair that the system favors the buyer’s interests over the seller’s, especially when the buyer received such an extreme bargain.

I then contacted Devin Wenig, CEO of ebay, who you would think would want to treat customers fairly. Rather than helping, he assigned my case to an underling, who sent me mock sympathetic emails that blamed the problem on me and accused me of being confused and frustrated. But there is no confusion nor frustration. I am simply unhappy that (1) ebay screwed me on a transaction and (2) won’t do the right thing to fix it – or even to meet me halfway.

Because I got shafted on this deal, I intend to never use ebay again. This buyer got a garage sale price for my telescope in exchange for virtually nothing for my trouble. I would have been better off donating the telescope to Goodwill and claiming it on my taxes.

I purchased a Smith Built Dog Crate on E Bay. It was descibed as new ,heavy duty ,holds a 100 lbs dog.

The metal bars are thin hollow tubes and are not attached to the frame securely. within 1 1/2 days my 65 lbs lab damaged the bars. It was eveident this crate was cheaply made with inferior materials. It has rust on it where the bards attach to the frame and I don't understand how that can be a new product. I contacted the seller to return the item. They refused to give me a return shipping label. This way they would not have to give me a refund. The item was purchsed with my debit card on E Bay and processed through Paypal. I requested a refund with the seller and got nowhere, then went through EBay with no results, then my bank with no results and finally Paypal. This Ebay seller has changed the shippimg and return policy on Ebay several times since the end of October (when I purchased the item) , lies to E bay and Paypal and basically will do anything to avoid taking the crate back. It weighs 91 lbs. For me to send it back by Fed EX Ground would cost $172.00 and by UPS Ground $208.00. I paid $185.99 for the crate. In summary this seller cares nothing about customer service or satisfaction and is very sneaky.

Asus772 (Ebay User ID) has bought $30 worth of Itunes gift cards from me via Ebay. He paid on time and I scanned the receipt for his payment as well as the copy of the back of the cards and sent to through ebay messaging.

I thought the transaction was fine, but 2 days later I get a message from Ebay saying that someone had accessed Asus772's account and engaged in fraudulent access purchasing the gift card, which makes no sense because he would have to had access to paypal also supposedly.

Asus772 is trying to get the $30 Itunes gift cards FREE, from Ebay by claiming that someone else used his account while he spent the $30 in gift cards. Be aware of selling E-items, make a scan including their invoice if it is a physical card.

Our team of PSA representatives was present at the Star Wars The Force Awakens world premiere and we are able to identified each and every single person who signed or didn't signed that night. EBAY has been the ideal marketplace for forgers to peddle their fakes. Using the service PSA/DNA QuickOpinion, our autograph industry's leading experts examined the autographs in question. I purcahsed a new DSLR from this seller on EBay and they advertised that the camera new. After placing the order I got an email from them to verify the purcahse and they tried to sell me extended warranty for the camera. My shipment was delayed and when I finally received the camera there was no warranty card in it. I contacted them and they told me that the camera is brand new and again tried to sell me a warranty. After several attempts to purchase a car from this dealer on Ebay I became a little aggravated. In the last couple of weeks I have bidded on (4) differnet cars. In each case I was the highest bidder until someone out bidded me which is certainly posible. The constant was each bid that I lost the car was relisted again in a couple of days. I have been keeping track of their activity and there are are quite a few cars that are relisted.

That's quite a high number of buyers not going through with their winning bids which is not normal for good deals especially with No Reserve. I really feel something is not quite right and agree they are using bogus bidders to drive up the prices of their cars. I have been using cars.com to do a search on the model types they selling on Ebay. When they say if it sounds too good to be true it's normally is.

How is it they advertisie a vehicle on cars.com for $4995.00 and the same exact car sells to the hgihest no reserve bid of $2550.00 on Ebay...another case a car is listed on cars.com for $7495.00 same car sells to the highest no reserve bid of $5500 on Ebay. I verified with the vin # and listed mileage. Both cars were relisted a couple of days later. To add insult to injury a winning bidder provides very positive feedback including the car was delivered....same car is back on their site again. This same buyer purchased (7) different vehicles.....I'm just saying

If you want to order from EBay they won't tell you in advance that you must register your debit card number with EBAY (which I refuse to do) and then 3/4s way through the order there is no option to stop the order so they will put on your reord a refusal to pay. Will never deal with EBAY again.

this buyer Ahmet Tuna Gunver AKA tunagunver [email protected] has bought from other ebay sellers in the USA and we have all been scammed by him and ebay won't even reimburse my fees or shipping expenses.

I have found out that I can go to my ebay page and single out the countries that are worst offenders.

Italy, Greece , Brazil and Mexico

EBay is double, and even triple dipping fees. Then if you are a new seller on ebay PayPal will hold your money, and shipping fees for up to 21 days. I could not believe the final value fees on top of the PayPal fees I ended up losing money. These fees need to be put under some sort of scrutiny. And PayPal expecting you t poo basically give something away also needs some looking at.

No one connected to your pruchase of a brand new item on Ebay will replace or refund if your new electronics goes bad. Worse yet is that credit card additional warranties are based on the original warranty which is none. Doubling of no warranty is zero.

So, if you do buy from Ebay, make sure you accept zero warranty or purchase the Ebay additional insurance. Why? Because according to the manufacturer, Ebay sellers are not legitimate sellers, even when new in the box.

I was offered free ads from eBay as incentive to sell with them. I thought this was a great idea and I should try it. After posting my ad, someone bought it within a day. Great feedback on the buyers account and so I followed through with the order. Even got a notice from "PayPal" saying the order was paid for. So I went through with shipping. Come to find out this was a scam. I've tried to get in contact with eBay but am finding it impossible. Called PayPal about the payment and they have no history of this user and transaction ID. Still can't contact eBay. How does the user have such great reviews when they don't exist?

I saw an ad on Craigslist for a 2004 Nissan Maxima for $2000 and so I contacted the person by text and asked how many miles was on the car. The person texted me back saying he put the ad on Craigslist for his Aunt and gave me her email address and said if I needed any information to contact her. So I wrote an email to her asking about the miles. l got this reply:

Hello,

I'm replying you regarding the 2004 Nissan Maxima SE Performance that I have for sale. The condition of the car is excellent, no mechanical problems, very well maintained, never wrecked or involved in an accident, title clear under my name, no liens, nor loans , 62,431 miles, 3.5 V6 engine, FWD , automatic, always garaged and you can find the pics attached.

I am selling it for $2,000. Because of my divorce settlement, I own this car and I don`t need it, so I'm trying to sell it asap. I gave the vehicle to eBay shipping company in Houston, TX who will deliver it to the next owner. The transaction will be made through eBay for our own safety. The best part about this is that you'll get 5 days of inspection and shipping for free. If you're interested in purchasing it just e-mail me your full name and shipping address so I can initiate the deal through eBay and they will contact you to explain the entire procedure.

On Tuesday October 6, 2015 around 10 pm, I found a 2003 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon with 41K miles listed for $2000 dollars on Craigslist. The add was under the Cleveland listings with a location of Bedford Heights. It said if intrested contact Amanda at her email.

I proceded to contact her and ask if I could come look at the jeep with my father. She then proceded to tell me the jeep was located at an ebay storage facility near Omaha, NE where she was now living. She said if we wanted to see the jeep she could open a claim with Ebay Buyer Protection Services and have it shipped here.

How the shipping would work it I would buy $2000 dollars in PayPal myCash cards and call them into eBay when they sent me the invoice. I called on Saturday the 10th and talked to a guy named David for about 30 seconds before the call droped. I called several more times and the call never went through.

David then called be back on Sunday morning as said they had an issue with the phone lines. I read him the card number for the myCash cards and he said the jeep will be delivered around 8pm on Tuesday the 13th. I asked him to send me either a tracking number or information to contact the shipper and never recieved it.

On Monday afternoon I recieved another email from eBay buyer proctection services saying that they needed an aditiononal $1500 to insure the jeep once it reached Ohio. There was some new law. I called the 800 number that I called to pay the $2000.

I talked to David again and he assured me the money would be given back to me once the jeep arrived at my house and the seller had already paid her part of the insurance. I payed the $1500 in the same way that I paid the $2000.

Later that night my boyfriends Dad found the same jeep listed on line with a bunch of warnings about it being a scam. I cannot get a hold of the Amanda Benson and every time I call the Ebay Buyer Protection Services I get David and he hangs up.

There is a report on file with the Geauga County Sheriffs Office. PayPal myCash Services is traking the cards I used to pay for everything and is waiting to hear from lawenforecment.

I ordered a TV from Bestbuy's eBay webstore. I received the tv, but did not open it immediately as it was a gift. When the reciepent opened it the screen was cracked and damaged on one side. BestBuy's eBay store states I can return my orders at a best buy store for exchange or refund. I took the tv into the best buy store, and was helped by Leslie, a manager at the Avondale location. Leslie claimed that I threw a ball at the tv, and that the tv can not be damaged in the box as it has styrofoam around it.

Now I was 2 days out of their return policy, as this item was a gift and the recipient was not given the tv until a later date after delivery, but until this time the TV was unopened. Leslie was going to process the return until looking at the damage then claiming I threw a ball at it. No problem at first with the 2 days past return date. WHO BUYS A TV THEN PURPOSELY THROWS A BALL AT IT? Leslie seemed to think I did. So thank you Leslie and Thank you Best buy for wasting my time and money. I will never be making a purchase at Best Buy again, and will steer all friends and family from purchasing there.

For a second time, I was ripped off by someone on eBay. They sold me a vintage receiver that never existed, and only after I contacted them 10 days after the sale, they said they were cancelling the purchase, but wouldn't return my money for a while. Opened a case, but saw the case required I wait 7 days to escalate. Why wait? Seller admitted they wouldn't sell the pretend item, and wouldn't refund my money. What will 7 extra days do?

eBay won't let anyone escalate while a case in open, so I closed the case and called them to escalate. The snarky girl I spoke with said that since I closed my case, they can't help me anymore!!! Also, they said I needed to give the seller time to make it all right... well, after more than 2 weeks and only one response from the seller, I'm not holding my breath. I actually had to go to Paypal to open a dispute with them because their other company doesn;t give a hoot about their buyers. After 14 years and more than 600 transactions, I will never do business with this crooked and corrupt organization again. Too big for their britches?

So here it is. Their platform, and constantly changing "rules," means that sellers can sell pretend merchandise, never deliver it, and will have weeks of interest free money before eBay ever does anything about it. Class action is brewing - and I hope I get to start it. This reeks of highly orchestrated and organized (and contradictory) con to confuse the customer and avoid responsibility for their own loack of oversight. eBay is now ORGANIZED CRIME.

Ebay was once a great company. However, that has all changed as e-commerce has become the place for scammers. Ebay knows what a lot of their buyers are doing and seems to promote it by allowing it to continue. Example when selling box lots of costume jewelry the listing clearly states not returns as these items are not inventoried. Buyers try to pick out gold or silver and if none is found want to return the jewelry. Buyers will open a not as described case stating they did not receive all the jewelry and demand an immediate refund (scammer), or buyers who are buying scrap gold or silver will try and say that x amount of gold was not gold and seller must immediately refund x amoung of dollars (scammer). Reason I say these are scammers is because I have fought them by using such phrases as it is a federal crime to use the US postal service to commit fraud and these supposed buyers then slink away. I had 12 cases open in one week, that is excessive and decided to stop selling on ebay literally becoming unemployed overnight! Ebay is a crook if they allow crooks to continue doing these scams. There is no protection for sellers. And word of mouth spreads on how to get free items on Ebay as well as Amazon. As I quit selling on Amazon because they had the same problem but much worse! It would not surprise me if it was the employees of Ebay and Amazon doing most of the scamming as they know how the system works. When a scammer resulted in my ban account being overdrawn by Ebay going in and zapping out $570.00 for a supposed not as described ring (this same ring sold in a later auction and next buyer said gorgeous and gave positive feedback, also letter from jeweler stating there was nothing wrong with the ring ebay ignored this and penanlized me) they did not notify me that they would be drafting my account they just went in and did it. I wrote a detailed letter to Ebay listing the fraud committed against me with proof. I sent it certified and never heard a word back. I never had an NSF in my life but with Ebay and their fraud perpertrating buyers they can ruin a person's life with no ethical considerations what so ever. Thinking of selling on Ebay, Beware!

Ebay issues:

Buyers stating they did not receive item when tracking shows it was delivered

Competition sellers will slam you with negatives to get rid of you or lower your stats (ebay does nothing as I provided proof how one seller literally copy and pasted my whole listing and was using as theirs)

Buyers wanting to return non-returnable (box lots of lbs of jewelry which is one of the best sellers on ebay) and ebay allows them even when ebay is told what these buyers are doing trying to search or gold or silver and return the rest (this is a scam by buyers and ebay does nothing)

and the list goes on.

I received an answer to my email to an Ebay seller. I was attempting purchase an iphone 6s Plus and her email answer stated that Ebay would send me an invoice for the purchase. I provided my ebay user id, email addy, name, phone number and a few minutes later, an email showed up that did appear legit and to be from ebay. I was feeling confident that this was a valid invoice until I saw the instruction for payment. Paying for the item directly from my Paypal account was not an option despite the fact there was a large Paypal Logo in the body of the invoice. The payment instructions were as follows:

Ebay allows a seller to continue selling stolen graphics, and tells the designer there is not "a substantial similarity" between the two designs!

Designs are below.

Not substantial you say?

It is the EXACT same design, copied and made minor changes to.

THIS MAN SHOULD NEVER BE GIVEN ANY TRUST! I MEAN IS THIS THE TYPE OF INDIVUDUAL TO PERFORM SOUL EORK ON ANYONE? IF YOU ASK FOR AN ANGEL, HE WILL I GUARANTE SEND AN EVIL SPIRITS AND IF YOU LOOK ON HIS E BAY STORE YOU WILL SEE HIS KING AND QUEEN DEMON SPIRITS HE IS SELLING AND HE CLAIMS TO BE OF JESUS? LUKE IS JUST A BRITALLY CRUEL MAN WHO SHOULD BE IGNORED AND NEBER SENT ANY MONEYGRAMS AS HE HAS A TREACHEROUS BETRAYING NATURE AND ACTUALLY WILL CURSE AND HARM HIS CLIENTS! IS THAT WHAT WE WANT TO GO TO FOR OUR VERY SOUL? I DO NOT THINK SO

I WOULD NEVER SEEK ANY SPIRITUAL SERVICES FROM MR. LUKE MILLER OF METAPHYSICAL BEGINNINGS OR HIS E BAY STORE. MR. MILLER DEFINITLY CAN NOT BE TRUSTED AND IN FACT BETRAYS HIS OWN CLIENTS. HE CARES NOTHING AT ALL FOR YOUR SPIRITUAL WORK. I HAVE KEPT EVERY SINGLE OBE OF MT. MILLERS E MAILS AND ESPECIALLY ALL THE RECEIPTS OF MONEYHRAMS SENT TO MRS. SUSAN MILLER HIS PATHETIC WIFE. THIS MILKER PREACHES JESUS AND IF YOU LOOK AT HIS E BAY SITE YOU CAN SEE BOTH A QUEEN AND KING DEMON EVIL SPIRITS HE IS SELLING AND HE SAYS HE IS STRICTLY DOING LIGHT WORK. ANOTHER SPIRITUALIST I HAD TO PAY TO FIX HIS PROBLENS STATED THAT MR. MILLER DID INDEED CURSE MY RIGHT KIDNEY WITH A CURSE DESIGNED TO CREATE ILLNESS AND I HAD TO PAY ANOTHER PSYCHIC OVER 9, 000 TO TAKE OFF HIS EVIL CURSE IN WHICH THE OTHER SPIRITUALIT AGREED TO TESTIFY IN COYRT AGAINST MR.MILLER!

SEE HE WILL BETRAY YOU AND IF YOU DONT AGREE WITH MR. MILLER HE WILL INDEED CURSE YOU. IS THAT THE TYPE OF PERSON YOU WANT TO TRUST YOUR VERY SOUL WORK WITH? I MEAN YOU COULD ASK HIM TO BIND JESUS AND INSTEAD HE WILL PROBABLY JUST SEND DEMONIC SPIRITS! I WAS A PARANORMAL INVESTIGATOR AND HAD MY OWN WEB SITE FOR YEARS AND I HAVE SEEN MANY HARMED FROM CURSES! JUST IGNORE ME. MILLER AND REMEMBER HE PROMISES TO KEEP ALL CLIENTS WORK CONFIDENTIAL AND AS YOU CAN SEE HE HAS NO IDEA WHAT CONFIDENTIALITY OR A SOUL MATE OR EVEN WHAT A MARRIAGE EVEN MEANS! VERY DISTURBED MAN INDEED, HE NEEDS PROFESSIONAL PSYCHIATRIC HELP, LIVING HIS LIFE SELLING EVIL SPIRITS! DEFINITLY NOT HOLY EORK. AVOID HIM PIKE THE PLAQUE. I AM REPORTING HIM TO E BAY AS WELL.

This company trades on EBay as SMARTOPLED.

They now have a low Feedback score on EBay because of many recent consumer complaints.

My experience was to buy a lot of 10 LED bulbs with a Lifetime Warranty . Within just a few months of ocassional use the LED bulbs started failing. Smartopled failed to respond to my EBay Message asking politely if they were aware of a quality problem. EBay and PayPal were unable to help.

The claimed selling point of these LED bulbs (for me) is their long life - claimed to be over 50,000 hours .These bulbs from Smartopled are lasting much less time than the cheapest dime store bulbs ! I deliberately bought thesse bulbs with a Lifetime Warranty to ensure a long service life. In fact both the bulbs and the warranty are totally worthless.

After one polite inquiry about this problem to Smartopled, this devious company blocked all communication to them via my EBay account. They also blocked all PayPal transactions. This was to prevent any refunds or charge backs? This despite having paid them promptly & giving them perfect 100% Feedback promptly after I received the bulbs. So they actively prevented me from persuing even an equiry .And no chance of a Warranty claim if they do not respond to email.
