Duyfree is illegitimate company and a scam and should be avoided at all costs. I made an order over a month ago that was not completely fulfilled and boxes sent were opened although the website states all boxes sent sealed? They also sent the wrong cigar order and refused to make it right. I requested a refund for two outstanding boxes and he has been making false statements delaying refund. Damian Cayman (aka Damian C Bancroft) is not to be trusted and delays respones on refund and now claims I never paid him? I have all receipts and email correspondence if anyone would like to see his games and lies please reach out directly. I doubt I will ever be repaid, just want to protect anyone here from ordering from this scam website.

Return Policy

We do have a retune policy if you were sent wrong cigars. We also state clearly that 80% of our boxes are sealed and the other 20% like EL's and rare and Regionals will be opened to inspect over aging times and for quality control. I claimed you never paid me as my bank sent this message and I misunderstood and so had to clarify with them first. In the end, we did refund you soon after and in good faith, we sent you a free box of Monte No.2 n-10 which was one of the boxes that you ordered which was on back order as is one of our best selling series.

It's a SCAM

Looks like a scam to me

This is my experience:

1) Placed an order on Jan 20th, there were email updates from Damian till the order was placed.

2) No response after multiple follow ups after this date and order is still in Pending status.

Also, I see a comment on previous review stating that "Damian has had a medical issue since Dec. and is now recovering. He has had no access to the internet or phone calls due to location. He has advised me of all info to help solve these matters as he is the sole operator of the website. I will try my best with regards." , then how was he able to respond to my emails till my payment was made on 20th JANUARY ?

Not recommended

I would not conduct business with this company if I were you. I placed my order July 10th 2019. Charged 3 days later. Damian told me there was a delay with the shipper. He responded in August and September telling me my order was in line to be shipped. Never heard from him again. My order still says pending and nothing was ever shipped. They just ignore all my messages. Order #17873. This is the definition of unacceptable customer service.

Do not purchase from Duty Free Cuban Cigars

Order placed 4 months ago. Damian is behind shipping to US. Two months later and he is shipping Friday or Saturday. No shipment. I have request a refund several times. I received a message on Trustpilot an it said Damian has medical issue. I am sure it was Damian because all negative responses on Trustpilot are blocked by DFCC and need to be assessed. I Ahmed heard a word since. I have sent daily messages and no response. Damian is a crook and a liar. Don’t do business with DFCC. There are better places to get real Cuban Cigars without the hassle and waste of time. I told Damian I was posting everywhere I could and he didn’t seem to care. He didn’t respond.

Avoid this company

Ordered 4 boxes of cigars. After months of poor communication from Damian, they did not send any tracking number. Eventually late Nov, 3 boxes arrive. Damian then sends an email that the final box will be sent within 3 days. This was Dec 3rd. Nothing. Now he's not replying. He's shut down his facebook because of negative reviews, and I have demanded a refund but again no reply.

At best his just doesn't give a damn about customer service, at worst this is randomly scamming people.

Any negative reviews online like Trustpilot, he has it reported. This is not an honest business.

Damian is a WORTHLESS LIAR

Wire transferred my payment for three boxes of DFCC in February of this year. To date, have only received 2 boxes and was promised a full refund for the $600 for the third unfulfilled box 4 months ago. 30 emails later, and the village idiot, “Dummian”, has yet to do his simple job... CUSTOMER SERVICE. Do not use this Website! A total SCAM!

Buyer beware

Ordered cigars May 3rd 2019 haven’t received cigars and all I get from Damian is he will send order right away. But as always no cigars can not believe Damian. So think it is SCAM!!!!!

The refund was issued and matter dealt with

Due to a comm error with our bank the refund was issued on our end and due to communication between bank and card facility in the US was not processed on that end. The box ordered was to be supplied by a wholesaler at that time in Feb 2017 we were working with. Since then we found that they ship real and fakes and the Cohiba BHK 52 you ordered were on hold as we were awaiting the return from another client to be assessed. The box returned was proven to be a fake and we alerted you and the refunded your card. We of course have cut ties with that supplier who is actually out of Hong Kong and also has logistics in Switzerland.(so they advertise) We now only deal with our long time suppliers of 10 and 8 years from Switzerland who we know beyond a doubt are the real deal.

Placed order with dutyfreecubancigars.com January 5, 2017 for $839. After a few emails inquiring as to the status of the order, 2 weeks later I get an email that saying order has finally been billed to my credit card. Inquire again as to the shipping date, finally get a response 5 days later stating they're waiting on tracking number from supplier in Switzerland. 4 more days elapse and Damian says the supplier sent fake cigars to another client and asked If I wanted a refund. I request a refund January 29, 2017.

Emailed to check on status of refund February 1. Damian states refund was processed January 31 and will show in my account 2-5 days. 6 days later, I inquire again as to the status of the refund, he's checking with Bank. 7 days later checking with Bank will update in 24 hours, 8 days later he is still checking with Bank and "will update in 24 hours", 9 days and counting he is still checking with Bank. It's now been 10 days since the refund was allegedly given and 35 days since my initial order. They still have my $839, but thankfully never sent me the "fake cigars from their supplier in Switzerland".
