I was leasing a car from them in 2016, it was paid off due to an accident. When I went to get another car the one I liked didn't have the correct paperwork so they showed me another car that ends up being more expensive. The car has electrical problems, I've changed the Battery, the alternator 2 times, The car broke down on me and I had to pay $300 dollars to tow it and get it looked at, the main fuse blew. I have lost time and work sitting in repair shops and spent out of pocket $ fixing things that they told me were inspected before I signed for it. Also the car pulls to the left, upon inspection the car was in a previous accident that wasn't reported however if they actually inspected the car they would have known about the damage to the rear axle. It would cost me a minimum of $500 per axle to repair this. I really believe they pulled a bait and switch on me and sold me this car knowing it had problems I have asked for a fair resolution and I get no where. That's not fair.
I bought a car from drivetime Petersburg va branch almost 4 years ago. Planning to trade it in with a another vehicle and had it appraised and it came out that my car is only $1200. My monthly payment is $423 which is a ripoff! I still owe them $9100. I wanna get out of this car loan because it is not worth the money I'm paying. And plus it has 3 open recalls. I should've known better because now I know how shady they are.
Bought a truck from them for my grandfather, used my credit, paid tags title all that in the price for maryland. Call them to ask about tags when the temporary tags were almost up and they said my license have been flagged and mva couldnt send them. Very next day went to MVA took care of the issue, called and emailed them to let them know and was not getting a response at all. Called and they put me thru to a voicemail which nobody would ever call back. 3 days after tags were dead i emailed and emailed them finally saying i was getting a lawyer and calling again they finally returned my call telling me they cant title the truck in my name along with my grandfathers and since he has an out of state license their "vendors" have to do special things. I then said ok well if the truck will not be titled in my name i wanna come back in and re-work the loan so im off of it. They told me no. But they will just take me off the contract but loan cannot change. They then asked do you want to speak to a manager i said yes Latia white then replied i knew you was going to as if that was an issue, they then put me on hold for 15 minutes and with nobody answering i hung up it was obvious since theyve already made the sale they dont want to deal with customers and they have no customer service skills. The place is a joke. I will pay the truck off in the next year and make sure they never get business from anybody i know. Its unbelievable you serve your country to be treated like nothing at all. A joke! Serve your country for people who dont care about their fellow Americans
