DriveTime Automotive Group, Inc. Reviews

Where do I start? I purchased a vehicle with DT back in February 2016 while having a job that paid bi weekly. Upon starting my new job in April 2016, I mentioned to a man named Chris and to another man, named Jacob I believe, that my pay period would change. It would be semi monthly. I was told because I was in the DT (now Bridgecrest) leasing program that they were not able to change the pay frequency. From April to, now, June 2016, it was a constant battle and phone hopping parade from reps and managers at Bridgecrest to reps and managers at the DT location I purchased the vehicle from (Gulf Fwy). I even had one manager at Bridgecrest, Cynthia, tell me that other customers in similar situations have made their payments and there's no reason for my account to be so behind. I explained to her everyone's situation is different, so me having my being hit on days I'm not even getting paid?? I'm not sure how that became my fault in one sentence.

So I'm stuck with a balance that is essentially a hole I cannot dig myself out of. Don't even get me started on the crappy jobs the partnering Meineke's did (thanks Avirex). The cars are supposedly already throughly inspected. They're not. Not even 14 days after having the car, I had to take it in and find out there were so many issues under the hood. The kicker is that you, the customer, have to get these issues (that supposedly aren't even suppose to be there) checked out and fixed within 30 days of purchase or your first few thousand miles. So if an ongoing problem finally rears its ugly head after either of those, you're screwed. I had faith in these people. The dealership team was amazing, but I feel as the consumer, I got the short end of the stick and am now having to give the car back.

This is what we emailed to them and complaint about!!! With all there money scams fraud harassing hanging up we should have finish paying this car off along time ago and no they say we still owe 9,000 when that's not right we gave them a 1,000 payment during income because they said they will help fix everything or give us another vehicle and nothing was done they keep scamming us we can't even trade it at another dealership without having 4,000 to get another vehicle. There's to much going on and were fed up we rely on a vehicle for everything including our kids specialist which are out of town and not were we live . They want us to keep putting our kids in danger that's not right we pay on time , do everything we can and all they want to do is screw everyone over and it's gone on to long. *I need to speak to a manager or someone higher because the day our payment was due I made a payment of 140.73 and then 3 days later my bank calls me saying that bridcrest has taken out money from my savings and checking. I said how is this possible so bassibhad 140.73 taken from my checking when I made a one time payment online using my checking account but then it said that y'all also took 27.73 out of my savings account when y'all did not have it so I went straight to my bank and they are now doing a investigation on y'all I also immediately called y'all and emailed y'all of the situation and y'all told me that it could not be y'all when clearly it was because ibhave 2 confirmation emails stating that y'all took the money and the money from my savings. Then I went to my bank yesterday and spoke with them because apparently y'all called and said are payment was behind 10 days after I told you I am not paying for any late fees do to i made my payment on time and that y'all are the ones who decided to hack into my savings account and take more money out. Now I received a text message saying thank you for you're recent drive time payment of 127.73 no I made a 140.23 payment at HEB and I have my receipts to prove it!!!! But y'all put 123.73 that is wrong and were getting cheated out of y'all I am also not paying the late fees due to I called y'all I reported fraud and I made my payment on time . I need someone who can fix this because our car is a peace of crap and the insurance with y'all don't want to fix it or give us a different one and we had it since 2012 everything wrong with this car y'all say the repairs are not on the insurance y'all are screwing us over we have put thousands of dollars into this car and it is in no condition to drive for our kids as well and we still pay and y'all still don't want to help this is not right and not fair this vehicle had lots of problems when we got it and we had to pay out of pocket not once has the insurance helped out. I need to talk to someone head of this company and I want to file a complaint we've had to many problems with y'all with this car and with the payments situation already . We better get in contact with someone soon because if we have to go to court I will because this is bull crap y'all do not return our complaints or when we call y'all say y'all write stuff down and you don't this has gone on way to far already. Our account # ACCOUNT 108014045301 Mazda tribute 2004 I expect a huge change or speak with someone that can figure this out Because I am not going to keep putting my kids in danger with this vehicle at All we took to pep boyspaying over $100 to check it out like the insurance said And then to tell us we need to take it to a transmission place who wants to charges more Money and 4,000 on top to repair it really and y'all don't want to help because even Though y'all sold us a crappy car lied about the car facts and we get stuck with the huge damages To the vehicle and we visited talks company and told y'all and y'all still say there's nothing y'all can doSomething better get done!! Well he financed a truck at Drive time but were asking them to take the truck back - long story but I'll try and keep it short. The highlights are this - 1. Truck is 2011 and the only owner before us was the dealer 2. They gave us a carfax report stating that there had been no accidents 3. The hood and the passenger front quarter panel have been replaced/there's even white over spray in the wheel well and engine housing so that's obvious fraud 4. We were told it had just been tuned up with an oil change but it has never been serviced because it has all original plugs, filter, etc...5. They had to know there were engine problems long before they unloaded it on us because the oil filter is rusted into the engine, the mechanics still can't get it off!! And 6. It needs a new motor, head gasket is blown, there's water in the pistons, etc.. And before we broke down in it we had already sunk $160 into it ourselves for a new water pump & thermostat. That all on top of the fact that since this started I have received not one single phone call from the dealer from the warranty company at all the only person that has stayed in contact with me is the place that is servicing the truck, Pep Boys in fact Joe in Sugarland & I talk daily & that's ridiculous. But nobody at the dealer or the warranty company or corporate wants to help us with anything at all. I had to make all of the phone calls to get the truck towed find out where to have it towed to they didn't lift a finger to help with anything and now everybody's just passing the buck about who was supposed to do what around in circles. However today we did get a lot of phone calls from them because they want their truck payment now thats ridiculous!! I have called everyone I can think of for help with no luck. The warranty company paid to have a new engine put in but then we were 1. Charged about $200 2. Will likely always have trouble with the truck due to the amount of water damage. Mechanic says electrical system is next! These people are evil and need to be stopped all we wanted was a reliable truck for work and 6-8 weeks into our loan this is what's happening? They could have just taken the truck back!

In 2015 I bought a 2013 Chevy Malibu. At first everything was great. They gave me a report on my car said it was never in a accident, it's never been painted or had any major repairs. I signed my paper work with the AEVEREX WARRANTY because they said it will cover any mechanical issues and I was on my way. A month later the fuel pump went. I called AEVEREX to see if they could fix the fuel pump they refused said it wasn't covered. Ok fine I paid for it out of pocket. A few weeks after I got it fixed the radiator went. I called AEVEREX they said it wasn't covered. I had to pay for that out of pocket. Now my car is running rough and had a lot of check engine codes. They told me how much it would cost to fix and I just don't have it. After he told me they price he show me the my car was in a accident and it was repaired and paint it was just never reported. I did a research my self on this car and a lot of reports popped up.

I feel as though they knew about these problems and gave my car a temporary fix to last for the time being before they sold it to me. I shouldn't have to put this much money into a car I haven't even had for 9 months. I feel like I was taken advantage of and I do not recommend Drivetime aka Bridgecrest at all.

On Oct 17 2015 I leased a vehicle from drivetime not even I had the vehicle a week and I started having problems with it and also when I got it the guy told me to make sure I have another vehicle to drive cause I couldn't drive the lease car to much I told him I did so I turned the vehicle in cause I knew I was going to go over 24000 miles cause my other vehicle messed up. So I turned it in on may 5 2016 going by the lease book it say return vehicle at anytime so when I turn it in I call bridgecrest they cancel the lease and say I had no more payments on may 7 I got a phone call from this lady telling me I still got to pay for the car even though i don't have it I was surprised cause the guy that went over the contract with me aint say none of that he went over it with me skip that part and told me sign here they rip off good....

Bought car was happy until I found out battery was from junk yard. They wouldn't replace it. Car now shows signs of alignment off, brakes going out. Have had this for 6 months so upset that this was my choice of where to shop.. what did I do..???

Terrible. Never again. They don't care about anything. They are rude but they sure take your money every 2 weeks. Its so bad I'm pregnant riding around with flat tires that they won't fix. This is my 3 rd car with them because every car ive had from them has been terrible. No my credit is not bad at all. So that's my fault for choosing them. But now I'm stuck with a car that they refuse to fix.

Puchased a 2007 Mercedez ML 350 from drive time a few months back and from day one we/ve had an issue with the battery and electrical malfuntions. Drive time directed me to Aberyx warranty - good for nothing - they sent me to C & D Auto Repair 5100 college ave, college park , MD 20852 Tel. 301 699 0001. The shop owner called me over and showed me the battery that is part of the problem - a battery that was from 2011/2012 expired and not producing enough amps - had to purchase a new battery and they also called drive time - i submitted my receipt only to follow up with Brodie employee number POBH who told they were not going to cover the expense even though it might had been their fault.

They should replace my battery for free.

My husband and I purchased a 2007 Ford Edge from Drivetime on October 29 2015. 2 weeks later the dash board was all lit up. I called Drivetime warranty service Aeverex and was told to take my vehicle to CarX. The part was a major part that was a recall from Ford. It took a week and a half to get our vehicle back. On December 23 2015 we were traveling to Denver CO and the check engine light came on and in Kansas City KS right outside Colorado boarder. The car started dragging but we made it to Denver. Aeverex was closed until Dec. 16 2015. We called them they were nasty and rude. Told us that yhe warranty did not cover the problem. 6 coils 6 spark plugs and the ECM computer board. We were told that they would only cover 3 spark plugs. After screaming at them they agreed to pay the cost. But it took them 1 day to send the mechanic the approval and 1 day to read the mechanics quote. We are still stuck in Colorado waiting on our vehicle and have already missed 3 days of work. And still we wait. It is such a joke

This dealership are not good at all I bought a car and now the car is dying on us They sell lemons to people they charge very high loan rate they are not willing to help fix the car they treat you like a number they trick disable people the car will not be running in few month we are stuck with the payment until 2020 I would not go there if they where the last place on earth. They do not have a person there to work on the cars and if you try to return the car the charge you 1 dollars a mile after 300 mile do not go there.

I was in accident the brakes failed during hard braking. I hit the Brake pedal so hard I bent the pedal assembly. There was a warranty done thru Aeverex Warranty service. The company they hired said that Aeverex would only cover the front replacement of the rotors and not new brake pads. The seatbelt restraints didn't lockup and threw me forward so I hit my head on the roof line the point of impact was the sun visor. The airbags did not deploy and I hit the steering wheel with my chest.

I hit the car in front of me when the brakes failed the car keep rolling to the point of impact with the Cadillac Escalade. I would up with a small concussion and my right foot is still in pain. This is the information I found out thru SAFECAR.gov,(http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/owners) Dodge Avenger vehicles manufactured June 25, 2011, through January 14, 2013 Component(s): AIR BAGS , ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. Electrical over-stress of a resistor in the occupant restraint control module may lead to the non-deployment. So they sold me a car that was unsafe and did not do a complete replacement of the front brakes you replace the brake pad when you replace the rotors.

I wouldn't recommend any one ever to purchase a car from drive time my experience with them were horrible and they need to be stopped I was only 5 days late on my payment they came to my job and repossess my vehicle after one of the reps told me on the phone they wouldn't as long as I made payment that week . I called them the next morning to see how I can get my vehicle back that I just had purchased from them 2 months ago to mention this was my first time late on a payment and I explained to them why anyways I called them the next morning to see how I can get my car back the rep was extremely rude and told me I have only 24hrs to come up with $798 to get my vehicle back or else it would be gone for good . 24hrs ???? Are you serious that's just not right something have to be wrong with that just collect my down payment and except my payments but one time I'm late they come to my job make a seen and repossess my vehicle then tell me I have only 24hrs to come up with payment .. Luckily my sister has a kind heart and let me borrow the money to get my car out .. If anyone is doing a law suit on them count me in .. Also if your reading this I repeat do not by a car from them there money hungry and they will screw you over any chance they get worst mistake ever ..

Drive time has been a nightmare from the first note, taking it from the wrong account causing us to go in to debt with our bank us a truck and refuses to do to repair it.constantly harasses us about made payments, refuses to update frequencies in payment changes.files false reports on our credit putting us in debt causing our credit score to fall .I am asking drive time to honor our contractual obligations and to give us a truck with no problems.

Six months ago I leased a Infiniti G35 from Drive Time in Tyler, Texas. I was hesitant at first ( should have listened to my first mind), but the sales lady convinced me that the car was in good working order. After having it for almost a month, I started having trouble with it. I called the Warrenty Company and was told to take it in and have a diagnostic done on it. Costs $100.00 I was told it was the oil. I tried to take the car to get the oil changed at Sears and they told me it was denied because I hadn't drove 5000 miles yet. So, I went on and paid out of my own pocket to have the oil changed. After that, the car was still driving awful, called Averiss again, they told me I had to have another diagnostic ran on the car, $100.00. At this point the car was not driveable, so i had it towed to an automotive company and again, diagnostic. This time $85.00, but because of the type of car it is, they didn't know what to do. Oh, I fell to mention, there are no Infiniti Car dealerships in Tyler.

So, I had to take it to a Nissan dealership and they kept the car for a month and 2 weeks. During this time, I was in a rental, that I had to pay for ( because Drivetime's warrenty doesn't cover rental) 62.00 a day. Yet, Drive Time still demanded their payment and threatened to take the car if I didn't make it. I still paid them and the rental car fees the entire time. The car ran for a few weeks and then it started acting up again. The entire panel started flashing showing warning signs. I once again called Averiss and you know the routine. This last time was on November 24th. I called to let them know I was having oroblems with the car, I didn't even get the chance to say what was going on before the lady jumped in and said your payment is coming up due on the 28th.

That was the last straw! I told her, you didn't call me I called you. I am well aware of when my payment is due, please allow me to tell you why I am calling. I told her that the car won't start, it is completely dead. I had replaced the battery, because Averiss said, if it was something like the battery I would be responsible. $190.00. My insurance company refused to pay for a tow truck to come jump my car off because I had needed their service for the same thing every other day. I had to have it jumpstarted once more and dropped it off at a local mechanic. He has had the car since Friday Nov. 27th.

I called Drive Time, they told me to contact Averiss, Averiss tells me to contact Drive Time, this goes back and forth for a while, finally Drive time tells me about Customer Care and maybe they can help me. I call them and they refuse to help me in any way. Told me I should have the car towed to Dallas to an Infiniti dealership, my expense. I explained to him that, I am being charged $85.00 a day for the car at the mechanic's shop and I am also in a rental paying 62.00 a day. I said to him if he could just put me in a reliable car, I would be able to pay the car lease. He tells me, you have to pay the lease or the car will be repossessed. I tell him, that it will costs me over 400.00 to have the car towed to Dallas and then I will have to find a way to get to Dallas to get the car. He said, well that on you. I am a single parent, working a job that barely pays enough to take care of the necessities and all I wanted was a relieable car that I could get to work in. Since having this car, my work record has fallen. I have been late so many times, I know my supervisor is getting fed up with hearing, I am having trouble with my car. Something needs to be done about this. Ther advertisement says they will get you into a reliable car...... Still Waiting

So I need a car and went to drive time...I traded my car that was paid off and the transmission went out. They said my trade was only 1232 but on the appraisal it said 1435. My car was a 2007 and they gave me a 2007 Buick Lucerne. They said my trade would take care of it, then later on said they needed 160 more for the difference. So they put my payments bi-weekly 206.17, and put the 160 into 3pf those payments.this was on October16, 2015. Then 5 weeks later November 24 my car does not work and they told me they could look at but I had to bring it in and thatbi had to pay for towing and then have to pay 246.17 on Friday or else. Do I have to come up with 246.17 for a car that doesn't work. Oh and they let you leave the lot liability, so had a fender bender which I told them and they said if I want I can drive it "as is" or I can turn it in and pay another down payment and damages to the car which could reach up to 6,000 The total value supposedly is 10, 504, but then my lease contract say that my periodic payments are 13,401 but in total I would pay 14,996. Which one is it? Oh and they also said the battery was not included in warranty but no where on the contract says it's the batteries are an exclusion..so now I have If I pay 246.17+ 150(batt)+217.32Towing, and my insurance. 56.17. That 669.33 oh and if I can't afford it then u take the car back, charge for damages and you took a whole trade of mine that was paid off.... No I am not going out with out a fight .thank you for reading.

I purchased my vehicle from Dr time in May of 2015 within a month I've had to replace battery twice and the alternator. My problem still consists when I still had a "dead battery". However after a day of getting the alternator fixed my car was still having a hard time starting up in each morning it would act like a dead battery for the past month orl so. I've had to using use cables to jump start my vehicle every day which was very inconvenient I almost lost my job for this because I didn't know when my car would want to work. I got so frustrated with a problem that has his purchases vehicle that it was messing up on me and I was having to do all these repairs so soon. Call Drivetime corporate and they asked me to take it to a in network facility which I did and they said they diagnosed the problem and that they would repair it and they would on the doll somewhere to get restarted and that I would have it by 2 days from now well few days past and I still don't have my vehicle had no word on what was going on so I used to my GPS to see where it was and I figured it out and called the new facility where it was now being held and they told me the previous Sylheti messed up on those repairs and that should not have been repaired because the problem still persist on having a dead battery. They ask for a few more days of diagnostic which I have to get the approval from Dr time I'm corporate and apparently they approved it after they did approve those hours the new dealership did find what was going on and called back with the total of repairs cost and what parts but at that point corporate he used to want to help me anymore and decided to have an unauthorized toe to a different facility that I was unaware of.

I contacted Dr time and ask why they would otherwise I told that I had no idea about when the facility that have the vehicle knew what was going on and what needed to be done but yet they wanted to take it out of the facility and take it somewhere else to get more diagnostic to see what was going on when I told them there along with the new facility telling them that they know what was going on they were very rude and did not want to hear me out they immediately told me that if I did not get them off of speaker that they would in the phone call and just hang up on me they couldn't give me a estimate or total to help me get the problem fixed because the dealership that it was currently at was an out-of-network facility when in fact they were the ones who approved it to go there .At this point I'm very frustrated and almost in tears not understanding why these people would lie to me in front of the facility that had my vehicle .Corporate stated the facility never calied with that information. But the facility was right there with me to catch them in a lie. They were immediately angry & eventually hung up on me. I need this company to be exposed. They are a scam.

Went to Drivetime seen a rep. about a car, the first one was a lady and made some promises to us about the car and payments. Another sales guy took over and changed things from what we were promised by the new lady rep. We ended up because of our credit paying $2500. down, and then payments were $475?..... anyway we had the car a few weeks and it wouldn't run. Had to buy a new battery at Sears, where they told us to go for all problems. Also for 1 years oil change for free. The few months down the road we took it back telling them no air, no heat, using oil and jumping feeling, not really wanting to pull. They did nothing, said it was our worry. I quit paying them and they came and repossess the car from church one morning. Took my purse and all belongs in my car. Took several days to find my purse and retrieve them. The car was a total ripoff....it was a selling price around $17,000, and with the interest they put on it, it was gonna cost $28,???,00. They have the car and was in great shape, just would not run right. They resold the car so I was told, and now put $11,000. on my credit report so I cannot get any credit or another car. So they want that car payed for twice.

The representative that helped us get into our car was very nice as well as everyone in the office. My car before interest and taxes is $12,999. The blue book value is only $8000 in excellent condition, which the car is not in excellent condition. The first day we got the car the tire went flat, the radio stopped working, and the battery went dead. The next day, the car started making weird clacking noises under the hood which have not stopped, of course. This wasn't even covered by their "no money out of pocket" warranty even though this wasn't our fault. On top of that, we have had the car over TWO months have Drivetime has still not processed our tag! I've called and they say they are short of funds. How can you make someone continue to go to the tag office for an extension for YOUR mistake. Over TWO months... This is uncalled for. This should be the least of our problems. I'm sure Drivetime doesn't pay the traffic ticket if I get pulled over for an expired temporary tag! (This was supposedly only suppose to take a couple of weeks.)

Please whatever you do AVOID this dealership. PLEASE. Back in 2008 I had bought a car well it did not last long due to I lost my job. The day I was told that I was being laid off aka fired. I called them as I was walking out of the door and told them to get the car. Needless to say they didnt until a month latter after harrassing me for the car. When I told them everytime they called to get the car. Now it is good ol 2012. The car is on my credit as a repo and now they are trying to sue me. Forcing me to file bankruptcy. If there are any lawyers reading this please contact me. ASAP Please avoid this company what ever you do. @ymail.com Please avoid this company.

I'm a single mom of 4 who took my paycheck into Drivetime to purchase a car. The Sales people were very shady and pushed me into a van that broke down and the motor went out the same week I purchased it on Thanksgiving Day. Then told me that the warranty that I had just purchased would go toward fixing the motor in a van that I had only drove for a week. The kicker is that if I would have allowed then to used the warranty to fixed the motor then if the motor went out again it would not be covered I the future,, That's funny why should I pay for repairs on a van that I had just got.

So I was told they would allow me to come into the dealership and pick another car. They lied when I made it into the dealership I was told that I was not going to get my down payment back and this big ugly gas guzzling van was drove up to the front door of the dealership and I was told to take it or leave it and there would be no refund. I sure that I'm not the only person who Drivetime has down this to. I was at the dealership with my 4 kids with no transportation and I felt trapped because they had taken my money. Which meant that if I didn't take the van they drove up to the front door then I would be without transportation an no money, Drivetime has no heart and they don't care about their customer.

To drive this van was $300.00 per month in gas and another $273.00 for car insurance. and they were charging me $365.00 per month for the car note in other words I was paying almost a $1,000.00 per month not to mention that it broke down at least 3 times while I had it. This was truly a nightmare. So I returned the van to them because with this van they forced me to by because would give my money back after the first van motor went out in 1 week. Each time I called Drivetime to tell them the problems I was having with the van they would get smart and say you signed contract knowing fully well that they pushed me into contact. So I gave them the van back.

I parked in front of my house and told them to come get it because it was causing me a financial burden. They then had the nerve to place it on my credit for almost $12,000.00 but they claim they only sold it for $2,000.00, The knew it was a piece of junk and that's why they forced it on me because they wanted off of their lot. and they knew that by keeping my deposit and forcing me take the van as take it or leave it. Drivetime is a criminal in my book taken advantage of people who don't have a lot of money. They only open their lots in the areas where people are straggling and they take advantage of them.. They horrible people profiting from the misfortunes of others. I have talked to others who have had similar experiences with Drivetime..

On March 18th of 2015 I went into a DriveTime dealership. They advertise being able to assist with low credit situations in which they GUARANTEE vehicle approval based on income. I feel that ever since I set foot into the dealership I was steered the wrong way due to a desperate situation.

I am a new father with a 5 week old newborn. We needed a safe vehicle prior to delivery of our newborn. They preyed on me in this situation and gave me like a 28% interest rate on a 2008 nissan rogue. Prior to purchase KBB stated vehicle was valued at about $10,000 which drivetime purchased at auction. Vehicle had previous accidents in which the AUTOCHECK report was designed to not tell you all about the accidents. LONG STORY SHORT, I was sold a vehicle at around 22% interest but only after providing $2200 cash down. The payments are costing me a WHOPPING $430 PER MONTH ON A 2008 NISSAN ROGUE!!!!

DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY! IF DRIVETIME WOULD LIKE TO ACTUALLY ASSIST ME IN RESOLVING THIS MATTER THAN I WILL GLADLY MARK CASE RESOLVED. OTHERWISE STAY AWAY EVERYONE! THEY WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU AND YOUR SITUATION. THEY'RE QUICK TO REPOSSESS TOO AND THEY WILL CALL YOU A MILLION TIMES THE DAY AFTER A PAYMENT DUE DATE. THEY HAVE ALSO VIOLATED DO NOT CALL LISTS MULTIPLE TIMES IN WHICH I COULD SUE FOR.

I bought this car on dec 31, 2014 and have had nothing but problems with this car. it has been in the shop for everything. Trying to get the warranty company to pay for this is ridiculous. My transmission just went out and they put a used one in the day that i picked up my car from the shop it broke down again. It stresses me out that i have to deal with this. i'm a single mother of 3 kids and don't have time for a car that is going to break down every other day. What can i do to have a decent car?

Stop!!!! Read this before you buy from Drivetime

the vehicle you purchase will be at least $11,000 at 25% interest and payments of at least $425 per month for 5 years

The maintenance agreement is limited

Your car will have a min milege of 100,000 miles and they purchase these high milege vehicles because you will not be able to get it re financed, to keep you paying them.

You will be stuck with these payments

I began paying notes on a 2006 BMW in 10/2014 from drivetime. The first week i had the vehicle,I started having maintanance issues.First issue began with brake dust coming from front end and making percular noises.I spoke with the dealer, drivetime and warrenty dept. they said the brakes were within code.I took my BMW to Midas and Goodyear both proffesional brake servicers here on the Gulf Coast. They informed me that the brakes that were on the vehicle were not the prefered brakes for BMW.

The following month I began to need seemingly endless repairs which were all very expensive and which i had to personally have fixed and still maintain car note. I have invoices for every repair totalling in an amount of 5,000.I asked them about trading the vehicle in for something more reliable with at least a years warranty. prior to buying this vehicle drivetime assured me that if i in fact got the vehicle i would be able to trade it in after a years time. Which was a complete lie! After a year i asked about a trade-in and they added a new rule into the equation, I could only trade in if my balance on the car was down to 4,000. Drivetime told me the BMW came with a 2-year warranty this was also a lie. the warranty company said warranty was only valid for thirty days from purchase date.

By this timeI was totally distraugt and upset. Drivetime customer relations department promised they would put my claim through with the warranty dept due to all the trouble I'd been having with the vehicle and they promised to fix a $1,700 repair that is CURRENTLY needed. This type of dealing is shady and unacceptable it has brought on a great amount of emotional stress in my life.

I bought my car which is a 8 years old mercedes-benz 2007 c230, with 71,000 miles on it on January of 2015, and they insisted that in order for me to get approve I have to buy the extended warrant, Gap insurance, and 24/7 sattlelight monitering if incase car get stolen. so a car that had a bluebook value of $ 10,500 was sold to me 19,999 plus tax and tile to $21,999, so here I understand people that have no good credit sould pay the price highter, but common not the twice of value, that's a major rip off,

after couple months I was driving from San Antonio to Dallas texas, and I stop to refule a a gas station 40 miles to dallas, and after refuling, Car would not start AGAIN! THIS HAPPENED AT 2300 PM , and I could not get hold of nighter DRIVETIME customer service NOR AEVEREX extended warranty company, so I had to tow the car to closes motel in dallas.

The next day Warranty company AEVEREX told me they were no ro reimberce me $ 150.0 for towing the car, they pay onle to a authorized michanich shop not to a motel. What I supposed to do that night , they expected me to leave the car a a gas station middle of nowhere?

anyway next they AEVWREX suggested to take to a michnic shop close to my motel, then they told me it's crank shift, and it wont be cover under waranty! can you belive this, I stock with $ 150.00 for towing pluse another $350.0 for Crank shift.

next day I call drive time to see if they could help me skip a payment because of all these out of pocket expensis, they said my loan has to be atleat 6 months old before give me a extention on payments, I have been paying my payment almost everymonth with exception of one paymen for 33days past due, and stiil they do'nt give me a extention to catch up with my payment. and they reported my 30 days past due on my credit report now no other banks wants to refinance my loan.

I began a lease on February 9th, 2015 at drivetime in Fayetteville, N.C. the 30 month lease to own came with a 30 month warranty. This vehicle broke down on July 14th, 2015. The vehicle was towed at my expense to a local garage after I talked to warranty company to let them know there were issues with the vehicle. I remained in contact back and forth with the garage, drivetime (the dealership) and averex (the warranty company). Monday, the 27th an inspector from averex went to the garage. The motor needs replaced. He turned his report into averex who has turned it over to drivetime. Drivetime contacted me yesterday the 29th to let me know that they will not invest in the repairs. I was told to go to the dealership to be placed in another vehicle. Today the 30th I went to the dealership to be told that I had to spend another $2000 plus, in order to get a replacement vehicle. Through this lease you have a 2000 mile per month allowance. When I began the lease I was told if I decided to keep and pay the 30 months that I would own the vehicle. About 3 weeks into the lease I called the dealership and told them that I plan on keeping it. I asked about the mileage allowance because I do travel here and there. I was told that if I plan on paying the 30 months to drive it like I own it. Now....I'm order to have a running vehicle I have to pay a couple thousand extra. Drive time uses a warranty company that doesn't fix what is going on. Instead they walk around the issues.
