Dr. John-Paul Hezel Reviews

Not only did I have to wait a week and a half after ripping my bicep to see this doctor who was recommended as a specialist he was an hour late to his own appointment. I called the front desk from the waiting room as personel was beginning to leave for the night. He finally came in and said yes my distal bicep was ripped and they he couldn't fix it. He also did nothing to advance my treatment plans or options or give advice of who may be qualified to repair the completely torn bicep. Not only did he not schedule an MRI he prevented my insurance from properly billing for his services of which I had already diagnosed myself from the internet. Then after paying a co-pay this doctor sends my bill to collections. What exactly did he do? A complete scam of a doctor. Maybe when someone states they might have a torn distal bicep tendon tear you should advise them to go right to the ER instead of waiting a week an a half to see the doctor who can't help yet stlll wants to make money off seeing his patient. He offered no advice on who could fix my arm and caused a real surgeon extra diffculties because during the waiting period my distal bicep had retreated up my arm as these type of injury should be treated immediately for optimal results. The balls on this doctor to bill me for my own diagnosis is the icing on the cake. Did he get me into a quick MRI machine appointment? No. Did he get me to be seen quickly for a ultrasound that could confirm the rip, No. What role did he play in getting me to correct the problem. He didn't help at all. I left the office and drove to the ER who's doctors worked in setting up an emergency appointment for an MRI. Does he care about patients....not in my case.
