Ditto has poor and slow customer service. You would think that they would take care of a customer that has spent hundreds with them. They have held up my release for almost a month with these stupid error messages. But, when I try to fix what they want me to fix, the website won't let me. Ditto can't even correct the problem on their end. Now that I'm frustrated and want a refund, this is what I get back from the company:

Hi there, ​As services have been provided, I'm sorry to say you're no longer eligible for a refund. If you no longer want to distribute with Ditto, please do feel free to cancel your subscription from your end, and that should start taking your releases down from stores. ​ Thank you.

They guaranteed me music distribution,radio play,international and national chart registration,even the iTunes express(which guarantees immediate iTunes distribution).They just charged me and did absolutely nothing…I paid for all this.

They posted stuff on my pages, then now I when I log in my accounts are either "incomplete or need repairs". But everything said "100% complete" upon registry. Now I am always in the process of being acknowledged or just ignored. This suck,'cause I am black and broke in S.A,in 2019, of this century.

This company took advantage of the fact that we used their RLIAB (record label in a box) to get over on us. We thought they would be honest rather than deceptive with their practices. We asked for their team to help us break our record in the UK as well as get a competitive edge in the international market. They took advantage of our team's lack of understanding the international market in order to fatten their pockets. In fact, Maya Battles was very deceptive in her promises. She lead us to believe that we would be getting help from their department. Instead they made us pay all of this money, and we were obligated to do the marketing ourselves. We were required to spend almost $10K and we do not have anything to show for it. She and Ditto Music should have been honest and told us they do not know how to market Hip Hop Music, and they are unfamiliar with marketing these type of records. We saw they do not have the knowledge nor the skill-set to accomplish our goals. That's why we asked for a refund. They made us pay for a month of service and they did not do any work. We should have gotten our entire money back because we did not get what we paid for. I would discourage anyone from utilizing any of their services. Stay away from Maya Battles and any of their marketing services. They are the worst. Do not get ripped off like we did. I wish I saw the posting listed on this website. It would have saved us a lot of money.

Used to be reliable - but now Stay away

Dittomusic's attitude and conduct is terrible.

Their response is fast when it involves transferring funds to them. However, when it comes to transferring funds to the customer and general inquiries, their response is slow and downright rude at times. They will reply with ridiculous excuses for their unprofessional behaviour when they have already shown that they can respond promptly. Their response is selective I.e. When a customer intends to transfer funds to them.

They also claim to be unable to payput sales from unlicensed remixes (which is fair), however, they take no initiative or show any intention in redirecting sales originating from those remixes to the original copyright holder - it's a double standard. They have withheld sales from unlicensed remixes.

At the moment, they have promised me to refund an incorrect charge directly on my credit card within 5 to 7 business days. Over 15 business days have passed and I have yet to receive a reply to my email.

Dittomusic used to have a good reputation. However, over the past 3 years a lot of labels and artists as week as reviewed have reported poor conduct and dishonesty. Maybe they grew too fast and couldn't handle it or got greedy, I don't know exactly what but they don't seem to be very open either.

At this rate, they will have setup heir own failure.

Stay away from Dittomusic.

I paid upfront for Ditto Music to distribute my album onto online stores as they claim, they told me it will appear on ITunes on a period of 3 to 5 days without including weekends and the rest of the stores in a bit more of time, well so far i paid August 22 and is been almost 19 days and the service i paid for has appeared nowhere, nor ITunes nor any of the other stores mentioned such as Amazon, Emusic, Spotify and more, i gave my release date and emailed them consulting about it and they responded the next day but soon as i sent an email regarding the issue they have vanished, but instead they kept sending me automatic offers and even a date where the CEO of this company was hosting an AMA on reddit,

i private messaged the CEO mentioning the issue and he did not responded either, im sure this service may have worked great for others but i've also seen other complaints here regarding the same issue, so since im sure they will not contact me anytime soon or that i've be waiting few more months to get an explanation about why they didn't kept their word, i kindly want a refund of the money i already paid them for something they failed to provide,

i have all the necessary data and screen-shots if needed (also emails) where i have contacted them in a polite way asking for an explanation plus refund along with proof of the release i paid them for, i will love to give them a thumbs up on this review once they solve my issue which in this case you might understand why i don't want to keep waiting Nor use their services anymore since they already failed me with their word, so i be expecting to get my hard earned money back and update here and in case i get no response whatsoever i will keep updating this information as well, so far i can relate to the other reports about their company already written here, thanks.
