Recieved on 7/18/2018 notification that upon receipt of payment and authorization the Photographic Equipment ( 35mm Nippon Camera) for the fee of $ 19.79 would be sent with the acquistion fee of $19.79 with free priority insured shipment. So on that exact day i sent money order for the said amount of $19.79....weeks go by then i recieve Camera Acknowledgement on 8/30/2018 that was sent to me on 8/14/2018, stating DMI had recieved my claim for the 35mm Nippon Camera and it was being processed for shipment. further down on this notice they said i might be interested in the Deluxe Nippon Electronic Flash attachment for $12.67 plus $2.00 shipping and handling charge. Guarantee delivery at this price! So on 8/30/2018 i send another money oreder for total of $ 14.67 and to this date i have recieved NOTHING!....

TODAY, 10/12/2018 I RECIEVED AN URGENT NOTIFICATION from the same place stateing they have a Fitness Monitoring watch system being held for me that is worth $149.95, WITH FREE PRIORITY INSURED SHIPMENT FOR $24.95 !! I have called the phone number that is on the envelope and on theweb page as 1(866) 788-3230 and all the comes on is a recording about sending money regarding item, there is no live person to talk with and gives no options to contact anybody !!! i live on a set income and yes i guess i have been scammed!! what can be done about this situation so others don't go this road ??

The record locator number they gave was 1015JG6. I paid $39.85 for the 35mm Nippon Camera, but never received it. Ehen I received a second letter stating my shipment was being processed and advertised an additional flash---with a $14.67 payment. At this point I determined it must be a scam as I first expected. The first letter had stated it was a Vivitar & the second said Nippon..

I received an offer by mail offering a Vivitar Digital Camera and equipment for $39.85 and over a month later received a second letter saying my order was being processed for the Nippon Camera and asking if I would like to add a flash for $14.95.

Both letters came with the following address: DMI. 2081 Hutton Drive, Suite 309, Carrollton, TX 75006-6874. It was signed by Barbara Miller, Customer Service.

Other possdible identifying information includes:

Central Clearing House: TX

Record Locator Number: 1015JG6

NO.: 14675917

It had the bulk mail postage "presorted standard U.S. postage paid DMI"

Stated the Title 18 sec. 1708 U.S.Code.

Telephone number: 866-788-3230 has a recorded message stating I o2wed no money, but if I had received a promotional offer to simply mail in my check to the address provided....no options.

Scam artist

This is insanity .... They target older people they use tricks telling them they already bought something and conning them to send money.

DMI notified me that I won a camera. I sent in a payment as per their instructions in the notification. Subsequestly, I received letters from DMI damanding another payment. I sent in three payments over the course of a year totalling $74.31. I wrote them on September 8, 2018, damanding that I be sent the camera or refunded in full. Today, on October 26, 2018, I received a letter from DMI with a check refunding only one of my payments for $39.85 along with a letter that they regret I am not one of the thousands of satisfied customers. Don't you actually have the merchandise in order to be considered a customer in the first place?

DMI sent me a letter stating they are holding a 35mm camera, to send them $19.79 to receive it.

I checked internet and see this is a reported scam.

I am reporting it so that you are aware this is now in NY State. I did not send a check.

No phone number or person's name on the form to return. Thank you.

They sent me a notice to buy this camera for $19.79. So I checked them out and sure enough is a scam. So I reported them to you and wrote scam real big across the notice and sent it back to them. I am tired of people and companies trying to take advantage of me and my family. How do I get people to stop calling us and our cell phones? Our numbers are supposed to be unlisted and we are supposed to be on that list to stop this but does not work.

Dmi sent a notification that i can have a 35mm focus free camera for only $19.79. I decided to check the internet to see if this is legit and the yscam website appeard. There was a report that explained exactly the notification from the same company only the amount was less thatn $19.79. I decided to file this report so others are not victimized by dmi.

I was offered a nippon 35mm focus free camera with several accessories Loaded) +carrying strap. I needed only to send them a check for $19.79 to dmi for equipment insured shipping and handling by nov 30, 2017. I received this offer in the mail from the usps on 9 nov 2017. I found "Yscam” online and seen that many people filed the exact report over the last two years. I am just one more person, different day and a small increase in payment. It looks like their still in business.

Received an offer in the mail. The offer was a 35mm Nippon camera for the price of $16.79 plus $3.00 S/H.

They wanted me to pay them via check. I suspected them so I checked and found innumerable reports of people that fell in their trap.

These people need to be removed from the surface of this planet, asap!!! No questions asked!!!!

In late 2014 I received a notice from DMI stating I was eligable to receive a 35mm Nippon Camera, and all I had to do was pay for the Shipping and Handling which was just under $15.00. I sent a personal check but never received the camera. I received a second note dated 9/28/15 stating they had received my claim and, "it is being processed for shipment to you. Please allow 4 to 6 weeks for delivery". The notice went on to state I could purchase a Deluxe Nippon Electronic Flash attachment for only $12.67 plus $2.00 shipping and handling charges. I sent another check and as of 12/29/2015 I still have not received the camera of the electric flash.
