My parent has lived at The Cottages Nursing Home for 4 years They have a lousy furnace. It heats 5 rooms based on the order the thermostats are turned on. It was developed to heat 1 room after the other 5 rooms get heated. My parents room is one of the last all she has is blowing cold air constantly. We have complained for 5 years they can't fix it. They need a new furnace but if one of the people decide t o keep their heat on the other rooms do not warm. Complaints for five years all they say we can't fix it so your parent had to freeze No space heater is allowed. Do not send your parent husband or loved one to The cottages they will freeze. They refuse to address the problem. If u love your parent grandparent or spouse stay away they will freeze.? It is a violation of patients right to keep the room to cold or hot excessive temperature change can cause the elderly to pass out.
