Just checked our account, same as everyone else. 40.00 out f our account. Called them told them we nevr authorized the check. They basically called us liars and threatened to send he police. We are going to contact our bank on monday.
Somehow got my bank info and cashed a $40 telecheck from it that was paid but bounced and cost another 35 in addition to other checks that should have cleared had this fake check not been cashed first. Now I have to deal with the s****.>
I was checking my banking and noticed a withdrawal from Defend My Device for $40.00, which I did not authorize or have never heard of them. I tried to call the number for this company and got a recording saying that all agents were busy and to leave a message, I did not leave a message but I will be calling my bank tomorrow to have an investigation into this matter and to notify them that this was not an authorized purchase. I will also try to call Defend my Device again.
On December 3rd 2015 I had a check withdraw in the amount of 40.00 to defend my device. I have never heard of this company I have no idea how they got my info. I called the number on the check and they could not tell me how they got my info, they said it was thur the Internet and I should of checked a box at the bottom of the page saying I didn't want there service. I asked what site I was in and they could not tell me. I have no idea how I got this charge or what website I was on.
Same thing happened to me. They are scammers and should be prosecuted.
Tony peoria illinois, they took money out my checking account, defend my device, is scam, i did not order it ,or want it, my my bank will not help ,it cost 30$ for stop it , it's rip off .
Company somehow got my checking account number and posted a fraudulent electronic check for $38.99 to my account when i have never heard about them before the fake check was posted on my account.
Found 40 dollar charge already paid by the bank before we coulod question it call defend my device and were told had to check a box to cancel but we had never ever been of that site or heard of them refused to return noney going to tv and police and bank to find a way to stop this
They took $40 from my account. I don't know who there are or how the got hold of my account number. I have tried to get a refund from them but to no avail.

Reviewed my checking account online today, and found an UNauthorized debit via 'e-check' paid to a company called "Defend My Device". I've never heard of them. And certainly have no business with them. The debited amount was $40, much as I've read from the other complaints about this dubious company.
Will be phoning my bank ASAP to reclaim my funds!!
Checked my bank account today and this company faked a check in my name I've never heard of them called the number of the company only to get the run a round and they can't tell me how they got my info. Said they would cancel a service I don't have and try to refund my money I'm beyond upset
Checked my checking account. They withdrew 38.99 from my account without my permission. How they got my account info is a mystery to me. I believe they are hacking computers and phones. Something needs to be done about them. I suggest contacting the federal trade commission and better business bureau.
The District Attorney's Office is also looking into this. I requested my refund 30 days ago and still have not received it. Going to call tomorrow and then my attorney.
Defend My Device charged my bank account by using an outdated check. I am unsure how they got my bank account # as I shredded all of my old checks. Needless to say I put a freeze on my account. They even gave their phone # on the face of the alledged approved electronic document which was my check copy! They say they're too busy when you call & want you to leave your name and number; yeah right...I think not
On 22 Jan, we checked our bank acount after we had just made a purchae (we do this to ensure the correct amount is entered via he debit card) We found a 40.00 e check from Defend my Device. It had our account info but had an incorrect name on the check. We called the company, they were very rude but said they would have to investigate it. But, if it turned out false, they wre going to call the police on us. So, Monday we called our bank to report it. By the time all was said and done, they had changed out our checking account and started a fraud investigation of their own.
Now, I contacted the company via their website. And after getting a rude email back from him. I emailed him back with the info about all of he tipoff reports against his company and that I was going to the FTC above the incident. I have not heard back from him.
Folks, if you get anything like this from the company. DO NOT go through tem and expect to get your money back. They will say they are doing an investigation, but they take so much time that you will forget about the incident and they bank 40.00. Go o you bank!!!
