I am disable and drive my car only to a neighboring store, I know the information is false because I haven't drove my car near a toll way since I've bought it years ago
I just got aletter from these clowns trying to get meto pay $17.44 for a $1.44 cent toll violation.
I have lived in NY since Oct 2012. I have not been in TX at all since 2012. The violation was 10/16/15. The plate # is not correct. The letter says they previously sent me a bill which I never received. I will be contacting every agency or person that is necessary to clear up this mess . I will report back soon.
The customer service representative insisted that I pay for charge that is clearly in error. They claim they process charges for the Texas Toll tag. I was charged for tolls in error. The representative was very rude and tried to pressure me in paying the fees despite acknowlegement that errors occured. she was treatening me on the phone unlesss I paid the extortion.
The state should not be contracting this this company if they indeed are doing. This entire business practice appears stetchy at best. Their tactic is by intimadation. This is simply extortion.
