DON’T BUY FROM THEM!!! Despite the fact that we told the phone salesperson (Rob) that this was in California he said he would get the engineering for us, They sent us some engineering that our building dept said was not even for this building and had pages missing. We called them back and they sent the right engineering but not stamped on each page? I called Rob back and he says they don’t need it stamped on each page I call the plan checker he says it the state law I call Rob back he says for $250. More they can send out a set stamped on all pages like the state requires. Why should I have to pay for a set that is stamped like the state requires that is in the price. Rob says go get the old set (1.5 hr drive) and send back to us and we will send to engineer to get stamped so I say why I should have to drive 1.5 hrs to pick this up them just have your engineer print out a new set and stamp them then send them to me. Rob say no. So I go to his manger and he agrees to do it, now its been three weeks and I call engineer and he says they never called him but he will put in mail today. A very misleading company and I would not use them at all, We paid the deposit over four months ago and still don’t have approved set of drawing form them? They are happy to take our money but not supply a state approved set of plans But good luck getting your building approved with these guys. Once they take your money you mean nothing to them. I bought this building from them and the sales person (Rob) assured me that this building and the plans with it would be up to California code and would be permitted. BULLSHIT. These guys are fucking liars, cheats, and scammers. The sales manager (Damon) just talks over you while you are trying to resolve the problem, and on top of that try to sell you more SHIT!!! What losers. We were prepared to take these fuckers to court when they decided to take half the amount of what a civil engineer charges to re-draw everything off the final price. Don't let them tell you they can get you engineered plans because they won't give you the contact, they will only charge you more money! They also tell you a couple guys can get the building off the truck and you won't need any special equipment to get it off or put it up. The manual they send says you need special equipment! The delivery company says you need a forklift!!! I don't know who the fuck let them run a business, but if they are dumb enough to think 3 guys can lift a 3,000 lb pallet off a semi truck, they should take a lesson in common fucking sense. Seriously, these people are a joke.
I bought a shed last spring from Crown International steel building systems. The delivery date was set for the 24th or26th of September. I took my 10 day vacation for the following week, and had 6 construction workers lined up for the same time. It showed up the 12th of October. Lost my help and my vacation. So on weekends with weather permitting and friends we assembled the shed. It took 2 1/2 months but we got it done on the last of the construction the end walls, we noticed that 8 plus the cover sheet where dented 7 on the closed end and one on the door end. The dents are so uniform it can only be done at the factory, and not by a forklift. I've driven forklifts for 14+ years and I know what kind of dings and dents look like. I've sent pictures to crown, and there first reply was Sweet. Damon told me to call Aztec sleel and talk to Matt or Jeff. I called and left a message and order number. Never got a call or a response back. You would think when a customer spends Thousands of dollars, that you would get some kind of response. But I guess not from either company Aztec or Crown. I hope they lose a 100 accounts or maybe a 1000 over this. But that's only my opinion, and thank god for u-tube Twitter Facebook I'm not done with you guys yet!
talked to a Steve Zoller, a shady sells rep on a steel building told me he had just what I was looking for after a down payment of 1,500.00 I get the plans that require a 3,000.00 footing called him immediately stating that at no time did I want to get so involved in such a mass project hear comes Damon m. smith "the sells manager" what a duch. will not return my down payment. to this day I'm out 1,500.00 for a set of worthless plans .the next step is the attorney general. Ill take this mother fuckers to court they are scam artiste .BYER BE WHER
they promise you one thing and after you make that deposit, Steve Soller, Damon m. Smith are the ones I delt with . what a couple of lying , misinforming ,conniving , bull shiting , sells reps. never got the product just some photo copy of prints will not return 2,000.00 of my deposit so now I got to lawyer up. and take this fuckers to court
Ordered a building right before the pandemic started. I had asked about the foundation and was told it just needs a "permissable" foundation. Building costs $8400, concrete will cost $12k, dirt work $5k. My income is down $1500 now, so I asked if they could just keep 1k deposit and give me a release. Damon Smith, sales manager, at first yells at me over the phone, then says send email. He ignores emails. I call multiple times, he says yes he will email a release. No release, no communication. Slimy, greasy, lying POS.
