This company is pretty good at scamming people in a new way. Their credit cards, logos, everything about them that I have seen is a clone copy of Capital One but no relation what so ever. Should you get a call, email, anything from them do not ever respond. Especially if they try asking for information to verify an account like SS#, name, address, phone number, etc. Don't give this information to them as they will use it to or attempt to use it to back up whatever claims they have.

Several months ago my phone started getting calls and hangups from an unknown source. I was getting them 8+ times day until I put them on block, then it stopped. Then two months later, it started happening again under a different exchange till I blocked the entire exchange.

The one day a bill comes, and not even my name spelled correctly. I opened it thinking it was my normal card company until I saw the statement with over $400 past due. Looking at the statement, there was actually no charges what so ever except a credit card fee, and some othr fees in opening an account, then a bunch of $30 fees for non payment of their service fees. It was then I noticed the phone number on the bill, the same exchange as the number that had been calling me every day.

This is a credit card scam, and the fact so much incorret info shows it. After talking with my own bank, found out I wasnt the only one who has issues with them and that they get their info from peoples computers that are either infected, browser hijacking, or from buying information from other companies.

If you are getting the same thing, just put RTS on the letter and thats is. I already reported them to the FBC. Do not call them, do not give them information they can use against you later on. And definately do not let them intimidate you into making any type of payment. I have already read stories on here of people doing just that and having their banking accounts emptied out. If you gave them a debit card #, cancel that card immidiately. If you gave them a routing number or checking number or even sent them a check, close that account.

If you have by any chance been tricked into opening an account, pay them with a money order. Do not give them account info of any type because they will take your funds. If you must give them account info, then open a seperate account and only put in what you owe, nothing more except maybe a few cents to keep the account open and only transfer what the payment is.

Lastly, if you have already fallen victom to them, file a small claims court case asap. In Ca they cant use their attorneys in small claims and have lost already to their scams. Don't wait for them to retaliate because they wont use court, they will use arbertration which are basically paid off companies to rule in their favor and many a states enforce those like a regular court order.

They send out application/pre approvals with the same style logo and even card choices as Capital One, so the whole time you're thinking you're signing up with Capital One. They gave me a credit line of 400$ and charged me 75$ the very same day I opened the account. I did some research before calling the company and I was horrified with the things being said and the illegal charges this company is doing. How were they ever licensed to do this ?!? This is a SCAM!!!!!!! 75$ !!! And I haven't even used it !! On top of that their interest rate is ridiculously high. As high as the person who came up with this idea. But not as high as those who approved this scam. They are trying to force me to pay these 75$ and I have not even used the card. And they won't let me close the line either. What can I do about this.

Since the 2019 Equifax/PayPal data breach, Credit One has taken full advantage of having my full social security, D.O.B., and every other piece of personal information one would need to open a credit card. They relentlessly spam/scam my phones as quickly as I can block their numbers, change my numbers, sign up for security breach and safety apps/programs, nothing stops them. They have also spoofed my phone. Once I finally do call them to ensure I'm calling the actual company of Credit One, I try always to contact their HQ. I'm always transferred to Indian, where I inform them that I too am recording. They always get very upset when I refuse to stop, but I will not. I have recordings of them asking me questions and the CSR making loud comments that make it sound as though I'm signing up for a new card, when I say, "excuse me? I didn't confirm that account, and NO, I do NOT want the card, I didn't sign up for it, and this is always happening," the response was, "oh ma'am, that was just a slip of my tongue." Well, it wasn't a slip of his tongue, because it continued, and it really sounds ridiculous on the recording. These people can't be called a legitimate lending institution and the most obvious Indian scam company at the same time?! How do we stop this?!

Credit One Bank is a fraudulent Scam. Credit One Bank is connected with Experian Credit Reporting.

Experian suggests when you log into your Credit Report online that you are preapproved for a Credit One Bank American Express Card. Experian facillitates the application to apply for this card.

You are not told that you will be charged the yearly fee upfront. You are also not told that they will require you to link your bank account to them if you want to make a payment out of your checking account, or that over the phone that you will be required to pay a fee of $4.95 to make a payment, and that people in a foreign country will have access to your bank account.

You should never link your bank account with Credit One Bank or Paypal, Venmo or any other Payment

Processor. This will allow them full access to your Bank Account and they can empty your bank account

without your permission.

Instead of improving your credit score, Credit One Bank will immediately make your credit score go down and then refuse to report they have opened an account with you to the Credit Agencies. They will also not send you a letter in writing that they have approved your account which is a violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Then they will not mail the credit card out and when you call them, they will make excuses that they are having shipping problems. Once you get the card and activate it, that is when the real problems start.

NEVER OPEN A CREDIT ONE BANK ACCOUNT, EVER!!!! Credit One Bank has over 2500 complaints on the Better Business Bureau website. Most of those complaints state the above, and more like failure to credit your account when you make a payment and then applying late charges, fees and reporting you delinquent to the credit reporting agencies ruining your credit. This Bank cannot be trusted.

Before you open any credit account, check google, the Rip Off Report for complaints. I made the mistake of not checking. Now I will have to go thru a middle east war to close out this account and get them off my credit report.

CREDIT ONE BANK I noticed a withdrawal from my dad's (who has dementia) account of $2500. I continued to look, and numerous charges to CREDIT ONE BANK as an ACH ranged from $57 to $900. There were also copies of my dad's checks that were cashed after each ACH to Antonio Hayward. The fraud is connected to how the ACH came through and the checks were cashed.

The checks were cashed at Barkley's Bank in PA. The forged signatures are different, I do not know why that was not a red flag for the bank. This company has let someone transfer money from an account that was not their customer's account. They were able to get over $6,000 which was not their money.

Credit One Bank has not allowed my payment to be posted for the past three months without telephoning the customer service department. At a later date, I found out that I had a fee of $4.95, each time. I opted for the automatic draft for my account, of the minimum payment. Two months ago, I was notified that the full balance was to be paid, for that month's payment. Contacted the Bank, and the situation was resolved. The next month, an identical situation occurred. Again, contacted the Bank and registered a complaint, concerning this misunderstanding.

Each time I attempt to log onto my account, the information provided is rejected. Error message, incorrect information provided, contact customer service. Other times, attempted to change my password and user ID. Again, the response was identical. unable to locate your account with the information provided; telephone customer service. This, of course, generated another $4.95 fee.

Received a notice today, that the May payment was past due. Contacted customer service, the employee, Dave, refused to reply to my question concerning their fee, for a telephone payment. I terminated the telephone call.

Telephoned another customer number, and was instructed to follow certain prompts, which took me to an automated customer service area. I was advised that my next payment was due in June, with the auto-pay option being in effect.

Your time and consideration are valued; I look forward to your comments and reply.

I received a credi t card from Credit One Bank stating that my line of credit was for $2,000. But when I received the oreginal card , the amount was for $300.00 . They honnor me with $300.00 and $75 cash back only way I could have gotten cash back is with a pin number which they told me that theywould send it ln mail with in 5 to 10 business days which they never send.

What flipped me out when I just spended $208.00 from the $300.00 and remaining was$92.00 left for my spending. They use that $92.00 as a debt for for their pocket. I haven't had that card less than a month.

Credit One Bank I had a low credit amount card I paid off each month, I set the payments up with my bank (Wells Fargo) I used the card and made a online bill pay for the full amount. I thought it was done Credit one fraud department flagged my payment rejected it and closed my account including online access. I was unaware this happened until I checked my credit report. I contacted them and they reopened my account and I paid balance off.

Less than a year later the exact same thing happened except they would not reopen my account I am left with 2 separate 90 day late dings on my credit I did pay them off but credit shows they closed my account and it all hurts my credit and it’s 100% no fault of mine. I made a payment the refuse it and shut me out

I have been a customer of CREDIT ONE BANK for the past 4 years and have paid them perfectly on my original card as well as the second one they issued me earlier this year, clearly because I pay my bills. My present credit score is 796 but despite this, they attempted to charge me a $99 annual fee on on my first card with them. After numerous calls to various agents/supervisors all around the world who do not speak good English, they refused to waive this and as a result, I cancelled the original card but retained the most recent one.

Every time I sign into my account, they offer to "reinstate" my original card yet when I call and speak with a supervisor, they refuse to waive all or part of the $99 annual fee. These people are the WORST charlatans I have ever encountered in all of my years with various credit cards. I have 13 cards at present, all with ZERO balances, and an impeccable payment history and high score. Avoid CREDIT ONE BANK at ALL costs!

  • Feb 18, 2021

I closed my Credit One Bank card because they claimed I exceeded my credit limit. I had sent them a check paying off half my balance and they did not credit my account with this payment until a week and a half after their statement came out. Then they contacted the credit bureau and charged me with exceeding my credit limit which caused my credit rating to fall 41 points. I wrote them a long letter chastising them for lying to the credit bureau and I sent them documents showing their lie.

I also sent them a letter canceling my account after I had paid the account off. I just received a statement from them claiming I owe them $508.00. I checked these charges and they are all false and I have the evidence. They filed false charges (purchases) on my credit card account and lied about credit card balances to Credit Bureaus. They are headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada.

I called Credit One bank 3 seperate times in January and february to cancel my VISA account. In March , I paid the balance in full and asked again the account be canceled. Not only was this account NOT canceled , they opened up a second account in my name and are charging fee's on both accounts!

I try to call and i'm transfered to 3 or 4 diiferent people before the "signal is lost" and i'm hung up on.

I have also filed complaints with the Credit bureau's , the BBB , and Consumer affairs.

In November, on Thanksgiving Day, my CreditOne credit card was used in New Jersey and California while I was eating Thanksgiving dinner with family & friends in Florida. I, then, transferred the balance of the card to Chase Bank's Slate Visa Credit Card.

That balance has already shown up on my new, Chase Slate credit card. Credit One is trying to tell me the balance has not been taken off yet, even though it has shown up on the other card. They also tacked on another $25.00 to the card in hopes I would again pay their fee. This company is a fraud and a scam artist. This company needs to be shut down from the reviews I saw on them.

Thank you,

Concerned Citizen

I make my payments monthly. This past month I was late due to how I get paid. Anyways, when I went in to the app to make the payment (10 days after it was due), I was locked out of it by Credit One. Not knowing why since I was going to make a payment, I called them, as I couldn't get into their website online either.

I was told (as I have 2 credit cards with them) that they were cancelled due to me being deceased. They said the only way they would open it back up is if I mail them something in writing proving I am still alive. Okay if I need to do that, then who in the f**k said I was dead and you took that info over the phone, but I need to mail something in.

I told them they weren't getting another payment from me, as there was no reason to shut down my credit card accounts. Since they would not budge, I have not made a payment since and will not make one. This is Credit One's mistake not mine, and they need to fix it, or they don't get a dime from me.

I am alive and well. I even disputed this on my credit and got nowhere.

  • Oct 23, 2019

I applied for a Credit One Credit Card, was approved, and they sent me the card. Since I wanted to increase my available credit and decrease my debt, I kept the card in my pocket and made no charges, whatsoever. And I was extremely careful because I was attempting to improve my credit, and doing the smallest wrong thing could adversly affect your credit. The next thing I knew was I received a bill stating that I was 30 days late on paying the "annual fee", along with 2 late payments!! I knew their was some kind of annual fee, did not know that they would deem it to be due all at once and due on the date they send the card!!! When I called them to remove the late fees & remove the "30-day Late", they flatly refused!!! This Fraud on their part is deplorable, especially since they are preying on low income people who are the least able to fight back. Those cowards who are getting away with despicable behavior have to be some of the lowest form of life on earth!!

Went online to make my payment only to find out the bank dropped me. Last month i sent a hundred dollar payment only to have it returned. I was sent a letter saying we recieved a payment of a hundred dollars. that was returned due to Account/ Unable to locate. how do you return a payment to a non existing account? After i recieved this letter i sent a 30 dollar payment and they kept that one. I have made every payment to them before the payment date. They went on in this very short letter to threaten to close my account if it ever happened agian. i recieved this letter on December 5, 2018.

I paid off my card some time ago. They sent email asking for more money. I owe them nothing. My card expired 01/18 and could not use it. Was promised a new card over a month ago, but they did not send it.

Disgusted with the lies and the lack of communication that should have been resolved. Poor Service!

I know that if I close it, my credit score will be lowered. Called them earlier this morning and informed the representative how upset I have been. She offered to send me a replacement card, which I vehemently refused. I told her to close my account and hung up!

Credit One Bank issued a credit card to an invividual living in Oakland Park Florida. Not sure if this Vince Anderson used my social Security number to get this credit card. (I am assuming not) This individual charged the card to it's limit within a 15 day period and has never made a payment.

When I tried to explain this to Midland Credit Management they said "dispite the information you have provided us, we feel you are still responsible for this debt"

My belief is that Credit One Bank issued this credit card to someone who may have my name but no other information matches up.

I have never lived in Oakland Park Florida nor have I ever applied for a credit card through Credit One Bank.

Now I am not sure if I should be filing this complaint for the Credit One Bank or for Midland Credit Management I believe the bank should be held responsible for the carelessness exhibited in providing my information to the credit reporting institutions as well as to Midland Credit Management

On Saturday Morning I woke up and checked my account and noticed there was 802 dollars pending as a transaction. I quickly called Credit Ones customer service to find out why and they "claim" that someone spent 802 dollars off my account in a different state. I asked them how, and why and they informed me that there must have been some type of fraud. So I said to them if its showing pending why dont you stop them from commiting the fraud, they told me that their is nothing they can do about it and to let the charge go threw and then they would investigate it and return my money, so I was thinking okay they are the bank so I will trust them. Wll only to findout that they let the charge go threw, cancelleed the card and started an investigation. In the meantime now its the Holidays and they are telling me they will basically be holding my money for 3 months (mind you its christmas time and I could have used that money) and put me on a new account showing I need to make a payment today before I have a late charge...??? How is it that I can get ripped off, money put on hold, and I owe them a payment. NOT to mention I just made a payment the week prior to having my money stolen? I personally am doing my own investigating because somthing about the entire situation is fishy and im forsure being taken advantage of right now!

Apparently on dec 3rd, while attempting to shop online... this company determined that since I was attempting to buy something and have it sent to my own address that it must be a fradulent purchase and blocked my account. On dec 9th when I tried to look up the account to see what the balance is- I am not even able to call it up on their website.

When contacting them by phone, the automated system advised me that the number which I am calling from is not the number they have on file and would I like to make this the number that they will contact me with issues regarding this account in the future. I stupidly pressed for yes. Then when attempting to find out what my balance is and why I can no longer view it on the website (which I have successfully used multiple times in the past) I was told that the only way for me to 'unblock' this account is to mail them a copy of my drivers license and a utility bill. When I asked for a supervisor- I was told that there is nothing that can be done on the account until I mail in this documentation, and they will continue to add finance charges and interest to the account, cannot/will not process a payment until I send in the documentation.

When a third supervisor request was made, suddenly they can accept a payment, but can not unblock my account so that I can close it. Seriously? So they will take my payment and then can hit me with annual fees, interest, and any other charge they like but can't close the account? I am calling the BBB and reporting unscrupulous business practices. This is rediculous.

If you are pissed because I pay the entire balance off before you can bill me interest- just close my account and I will use another company.

This is a rip off if I have ever seen one. The Public should be notified to stay away from this company. I have been a customer in good standing for more than 5 years and they have increased my line of credit more than 4 times already. I have a Visa Card with a credit line of $1200.00 and a Master Card with $900.00

On Nov 18th they called to verify some transactions and I said I did make them. So why did they closed my account? I protested the closure and they said it's their policy to close the account when the Fraudulent transaction is found. ( There were not a fraudulent transaction I did make them I told them. I said I made those transactions. This happened on Nov 18th they closed my account and after 50 days they have not opened it back up. I was asked to send in my documents so they can reopen my account. I did so over and over again. they provided a fax number for me to fax the documents.I sent them my driver's license and my passport.

To this day they have not only reopened my account. But they have not contacted me to correct the problem. I call them 7 or more times and they have called me once because I told them I am not ever going to contact them again because they do not call or write to me to address the matter. Their customer service department is the worst. I owe them money and they don't try to reach out to me to collect their money? Whoever heard of such a company? I have had it with them. Again I have been a customer in good standing they have no complaint about me. I am a Senior Citizen I am 69 years young. ( never say old) it's Senior Citizen abuse.

Buyer BE Ware!! They are a RIPOFF CREDIT CARD COMPANY DOING BUSINESS NATIONWIDE.

I became a victim of identity theft and credit card fraud on May 22, 2018 when the credit card company failed to protect me as well as others from this kind of occurrence, the person who committed these crimes changed my information address/phone number and started charging on my credit card account after requesting a card saying it was stolen. I have closed my account after I learned on my own these crimes had been committed against me, The credit card company Credit One located in Las Vegas Nevada never contacted me to inform me of this theft and fraud against me. I believe this company is involved in this criminal activity against me and others because they allowed this to happen to many others not only myself, consumer reports has 2400-2500 complaints against them especially for identity theft and credit card fraud. The person who committed these crimes against me are from Homestead Florida and I got a screenshot of at least the address but the credit card company put my phone number back on my account before I could screenshot it for evidence, when you call the customer service line you only get people from India not here in the U.

S. where the company is located. I was told that someone from America would call me to discuss this situation and they never called me and this is why I think the company is a fraud, I think this credit card company got all the right information to make them look legit only to scam people and now they are trying to make me responsible for the charges on my account.

Its been a problem since I got credit one, I noticed it said if you do express pay for 9.95

your funds are available the next day if not they take your payment immediately but

doesn't become available for 5 days which is not right. I was getting paper bills but they stopped

which caused me to miss april. so i have a double payment and 35. late fee. Today I tried to

make a payment before a 2nd late charge was applied.

I couldn't get into my account said my PW was wrong so they sent a temp code i copy and pasted

said it was wrong so im locked out of my account. I tried to get a human I called every number on the site customer support.

fraud, lost card, credit protection, collections, and website related inquiries. every number took me

to the same automated message. It appears they make it difficult so they can add late fees.

It was the only card I could get it was for credit repair its not its the way of scamming people

who cant get a real card.

i have been with credit one for almost 3-4 months now. I have made several payments on my account with no issue. All of a sudden my payments are not going through when I make a little above the minimum payment. I have a $300 credit limit. my minimum payment is $25 but i preferred to make $30 payments recently. When I started trying to pay the $30 payments they started getting returned on the same bank card I used for all of my other payments. I have even paid the full amount of $300 back in March with no issue. Reason of this ripof report is after having issues with my smaller payments i tried paying $140 and NOW IT GOES THROUGH! Tehy close my account and then they start accepting payments?! Seriously this is unethical and a sketchy business practice. After speaking with a rep yesterday she told me to get a letter stating that I am an authorized user of my own bank account. I feel that it's pretty obvious that they have set a limit higher than what their statements claim. It is very frustrating that this is going on. I'll even add that they have locked me out of my online account access so I cannot see anything as far as my payment info or account balance anymore. I am willing to go to court over this if they don't come forward and assist me the right way.

November 8, 2018 I allowed my son to charge a one time down payment of $286.00 for his auto insurance. I specifically told the National General agent that this was a one time transaction. He read back through every thing we had discussed. All was well until my next statement. I noticed a charge of $350. I immediately called credit one, and I wrote them to dispute the unauthorized charge.

Two weeks later I didn't hear from Credit One, so I called them and the customer service guy said it'll take 30 days to be resolved. I waited 30 days, no results. I called Credit One and the girl said the funds hadn't been received from the other company. I called the insurance company. I waited a week and still no change. I waited another week, no change. I continued to wait.

Finally I asked National General what was the problem.(I thought the insurance company was the hold up, because Credit One kept telling me the funds weren't available and as soon as the funds show up, we'll gladly refund your account, because we do it immediately) National General customer service person said those funds were released on February 19th. As to date I am still waiting for the charge to be removed.

Credit One requested a letter from the insurance company stating they had released the funds. I literally did a three way call among myself, National General, and Credit One Bank in order to get Credit One to commit to anything. Andrew, Credit One rep said as soon as that verification is completed the charge will be removed immediately. He said, "We do things the same day." Well, all I can say is we will see, it's been almost 120 days and nothing is resolved. Las Vegas, Nevada,umm?.........this company is a gamble. ..Play at your own risk

I see where some had no idea about the yearly fee. Guess what, neither did I. That's not my biggest complaint. I think Credit One business practices need a very intense investigation. And for goodness sake, hire American representatives who speak American English.

My young daughter applied for this credit card even though she had no imployment. As soon as the card came in I shredded it after seeing the high yearly fee. A few days later we received a bill for $75.00 plus a $6.95 fee for what we aren't sure. Maybe the honor of sending her a plastic card. I am not about to pay this ridiculous fee. I plan to contact them and have it cancelled right away but if I have any problems I will come back and advise you of it right away.

My credit account was in good standing. One day, I get an alert from my credit report... The balance is way over the limit... Apparently, 3 fraudulent purchases were made in India, and a fraudulent payment, which Credit One processed and then returned, allowed the balance to go even higher above the limit. I called on February 21st to see what happened. An Indian customer service representative told me I was in luck, because he lives in India and knows these companies and scam rings, specifically naming something from the purchase IDs. He said he was opening a fraud report, and taking care of everything. In 30 days, the investigation would be complete, my account would be brought into good standing and the major credit reporting agencies would be properly notified. However, the call disconnected after he said all of this. It wasn't my line - we can subpoena the T-Mobile phone records in court. In retrospect, I believe someone from inside the company cut the line. At the time, I figured he already took care of everything, and if he needed additional information to file the report, then he would contact me. I would follow up next week to make sure everything if moving forward as planned. Several days later, on February 26, I got a call from Credit One billing department... A collections call. The customer service representative told me at first that she had no knowledge of my discussion with the representative on the 21st... But then she got scared when I reminded her the calls were recorded... And we could easily pull up the conversation I had on the 21st... She retracted her statement... Started to filibuster... And that's when things got weird. After being on hold and transferred to supervisors (4 hours in total I took off of work for this). I was told that they could no longer verify my address because it showed I lived in New Jersey... I have lived in the same California address since I opened the account... This means that after my conversation on the 21st, more fraudulent activity was happening... Including locking me out of my account and changing my personal information... I've changed my password several times in the last few weeks, and I use a unique password for Credit One Bank... Meaning no hacks of my Google or other accounts could reveal the password for Credit One Bank... The hack was on Credit One alone OR someone inside the company did this. I caught them lying on recorded calls several times. Please, I filed bankruptcy last year and it was a very difficult process. I've bent over backwards making sure all of my payments are on time and my money is right. Now, this company is holding me hostage. They said in 30-60 days the investigation would conclude... And if it returns in my favor, then they would credit my account... And notify the credit reporting agencies... But one supervisor hung up on me because... He asked me how old I was... And I said my birthday is... Then he asked me... Sir, how old are you? I said, excuse me is this a joke? I gave you my exact birthday for verification purposes. Then he said, sir if you're not going to cooperate I'm going to disconnect the call... And before I could say wait, wait I'm 31 years old are you kidding me... He hung up. It feels like they're messing with me. Several people lied to me from India, the Philippines... No one from the U.S. ... I haven't spoken to a single U.S. representative... I am not going to sit idly by while the billing department has me in collections... And they told me they are two separate departments... The billing and account services departments... So, if there is a fraud investigation on my account... they don't communicate and I will still be harassed by collections. So, I said no, I legally do not allow the billing department to contact me at this time and you must go through my attorney. Then I called the account services departments immediately after and they told me they couldn't discuss my account because there was a flag for legal council. I said, how? They said they weren't legally allowed to tell me how they knew I requested legal representation for the billing department... And then retracted their statement... That the two departments are actually one and the same. I have the names of all Credit One executives. I will declare full legal and financial war on these individuals - not the company - if my credit score suffers one iota from this fraudulent and corrupted scam ring in East Asia. As God as my witness, I will rid all of America from every single corrupted banker - or I will die trying. What they are doing to me and countless other Americans is beyond unethical - it is criminal. And they will not in prison or I'm not an American. Excuse me for being passionate. These people are threatening my ability to eat and feed my family, so I believe a bit of righteous anger is well-deserved.

Received a offer for a credit card so I decided to fill out the application and see what happens. A little while later I receive a credit card with a $400 limit. I put it in a drawer and forgot about it. Well, I then get a bill in the mail for $75 for an "annual fee". I was surprised but I probably missed it in the fine print when I accepted the offer. Well I go to the website to pay the insane fee and to cancel the account and there is no where to cancel it. Then I try to pay the bill and for me to use my PayPal debit card they CHARGE $9.95. Can you believe that? They actually charge me for me to give them money!! Insane. Well I wrote on the paper bill that I received that I wanted to close the account, that I am paying them ZERO and that they can sue me for the $75.00. What a rip off!!

  • Feb 23, 2018

I had this card for two weeks. Didn’t charge a single thing on it. I went online to set up the account, and I kept getting error messages due to problems with their web page. Finally got set up. When I tried to pay my bill online, they charge you $10 if you want to pay your bill with a debit card. That was way too much for me.

There is no way you can send or talk to a customer service person if you have a complaint, so I had to call the stolen card number. Got transferred twice to other departments (all in India). Finally had to talk to a supervisor who could do nothing for me. He could not even close my account. I had to pay the $75 annual fee (which I did). This card and this company seems predatory and uncaring.

Hi, it was three days before christmas when I saw my bank account in a negative balance. It show is was from CreditOne in a total about of $1,659.78. I call my bank first to see what was the problem and I was told that two separate charges came from CreditOne $982.38 and $677.40, of course I got two overdraft fees along with this. After alerting my bank, I proceed calling CreditOne about this. I spoke to a lady, whom she didn't want to give me her name, I explain to her about this situation. She said that "I made two payments for my account online." Why will I make two large payments to jeopardize my account and to pay fees? Makes no sense. She investigated more and found the transaction for $677.40 is not showing in my account but I got debit for it. I told her I have it shown in my account. She told me that I have to send in a banking statement showing the charges. I went to my bank, SunTrust, and they help me with that. I highlighted the charges and the fees with it, first I made sure it was clear. I mail it to them on the address she told me. I don't understand why they don't have a fax number or prove an email address to help their customers. I've been with them 2 1/2 years and didn't have a problem until August 2017. After a week waiting, my bank credit my account under "No Authorization Refund" and that my claim isn't honor. I login into my CreditOne account to see the progress and what it looks like, they close my account, in which I can't see nothing on it. I believe they did fraudulant activities, it is sad that they hit my account 3 times, blame me for it and don't want to take responsibility for it.

I applied for and received my credit card from Credit One Bank. I was able to log in one time to my account.

The website for this card/banking organization is down and has been down since I tried to log in that one time. Repeated phone calls to the organization went unanswered or if answered, they were responding with written scripts and did not deviate. I could not get to a supervisor or manager to discuss my account. I cannot view my account online, I cannot access my account online, I cannot make a payment online, I cannot cancel my card online.

At the beginning, the Company does not send the first monthly statement. They send the second statement with late fee and interest. So I paid the fee and quit. Do not do business with this company. All employees are housed in a call center in India.

I am a Hurricane Harvey victim so I've called all my creditors for assistance with my accounts to prevent damages to my credit. Due to Insurance and FEMA delays, I haven't received enough funds to repair my home so I am living from my son's home to my daughter's home. This is a very stressful and frustration time for everyone in Houston with most of us having difficulty with Credit One Bank Credit Cards. I called Credit One Bank in September and October 2017 to assist my credit cards because funds were not available. All available funds were used to start repair on my home so I could move back in it. The representative told me they would waive the minimum payment for September and October but did not honor what they told me. I started receiving collection calls from Credit One and the representatives wasn't aware of the agreement.

Therefore, I called Credit One rep and was told I needed to make a payment because it was past due. I explained to representative for 10 minutes what was agreed upon and they were totally clueless. I asked for a supervisor for 5 minutes with the rep. refusing to get a supervisor. I spoke to supervisor and was told someone dropped the ball because no one follow through with the account correction. I called Credit One Bank again regarding the October payment being past due and was told the same as last month but did not follow through. Now my October payment is past due again so I called Credit One again. The representative stated your account is 12 days past due and I asked how is that possible when the payment was to be waived for October. Each time they saw the notes where they told me it would be waived but would not honor the agreement. I asked to speak to a supervisor (Erika - ID# 313490352) where she told me Credit One was waiving September and October minimum payment for the Hurricane Harvey victims over 3 times. I explained to her how frustrating it is to call a creditor and promise to do something then do not follow through or go back on an agreement.

This unprofessional and deceptive way of treating the customer adds to their stress and frustration which makes the bank untrustworthy. Erika got upset then told Credit One only waived September payment for Hurricane Harvey customers after telling it both months. So she told you need to make the 10/19/17 payment because would not waive the October payment previously agreed to. I asked to speak with someone in Corporate or her Manager and she refused to do either. She says I will send a ticket for a callback and I requested the ticket number (161872) for someone to call me back. THAT IS UNACCEPTABLE!!!

A transaction was on my account for a internet Las Vegas payment.. Which I live in Colorado..so I called and explain..and ask to remove it..after I even research in line on the same matter people was having.. His response was I made a payment on line..I told him I did not.and I was going to report them..and I will destroy my card... How can this be legal and effect my credit report..I'm so mad for them letting this happen.

Credit One began sending applications for their so-called pre-approved credit card last year. We threw them in the trash and did not respond for obvious reasons.

However, we began receiving bills from them, despite the fact we had not opened an account. We called and they finally cancelled the account. We called again after receiving a billf or just over $1. Supposedly they have removed that chage as well.

It is time that someone take these idiots to court with both CRIMINAL and CIVIL charges. Perhaps the Federal District Court of New Mexico is appropriate.

Why wouold these idiots blatantly violagte federal and state law? Must be making a profit substantial enough to cover the law suits.

I recieved several change of address letters in the mail and I responded to each letter telling them I do not live in Miami FL. They sent someone a credit card with my information on it anyway. This went on for a week. Now they won't give me an answer of why they sent out a card without my consent.

I am a mortgage loan processor, I have a client that had a credit card from this bank. My client has been working the past few months on building his FICO score up to purchase a home.

I sent this bank a borrower signature authorization me to speak on his behave. MOST bank allow you to fax it in. NOT this bank even though at first they gave me the fax number to send in the authorization. I call a week later and was told I had to MAIL it in, they didn't accept them via fax.

Then I was told to send a letter explaining a late payment I did. My client tried to set up auto pay with his personal bank, but it didn't work the first month on this account. As soon as he realized the payment hadn't been made, he paid the bill completely off. I sent a letter explaining the situation as I was instructed to do so by the bank representative and that they would remove the late notice from the credit reporting agency. I call back today got another customer supervisor on the phone and was told a different story they would not reverse a ONE month late from this client reporting agency. I do this for a living I would suggest NO one get a credit card from this bank. It is not worth the risk of your FICO score Most reputable credit card company would not treat their customer like this.

Credit one bank charged me $782.53. I paid them and they sent a collection agency after me Midland Credit Management, Inc. It is the same company and they say I have to pay $782.53 I already paid in 2016 and this is 2017. They say my account with Credit one bank is closed, but that is a lie I still have there credit card. It doesn't help your credit report. They are con-artist. Don't get this card. It says on bank statement I paid.

I had 2 Credit cards with this company and had no trouble with them until I didnt use the cards anymore.

I started to get a monthly bill for $2.50 on the one and $15 on the other for no usage. Then when I

would call to pay the bill they wouldnt accept a debit payment unless I paid a rush fee of an additional

$15 to process.

I eventually called to complain about the charges every month for non usage. Credit One reversed the

charges and put me to a zero balance and said they were sorry.

In June 2017, I got another $15 bill for non usage. I called and cancelled the cards. Credit One

reversed the charges again and credited both my accounts. They even told me there would be no

service charges until after Sept 2017. The very next day after this call Credit One billed me again

for another $15 service charge and listed it as a late fee.

I called them last week and cancelled the cards for which they were angry about. They told me

I missed my payment last month and I owed them. They nicely demanded a payment for which I said no.

3 days later, I called to pay the late fee and be done with them. They now tell me i owe them

Ive paid my bill on time with credit one bank since I opened the account. I switched banks and could not log in to my account to update my records. I called them (after 30 min on the phone) finally got access to my account. Put in new info, it did not take the info even though it said it did. several weeks later I get a hit on my credit monitoring saying my account is 30 days late (mind you I have perfect credit) this dropped my credit score 150 points. My feeling is they make it difficult for people to make payments in order to charge late fees and interest. I have been on the phone with these guys for hours trying to work this out and to no avail. On top of this last year they double billed me for an entire months worth of transactions and it took 4 months to get it resolved. If you open an account with these crooks beware. I have paid this account off and it is now closed I am glad to be done with these scammers but it was such a complete waste of time and money.

  • Jun 7, 2017

Call the company several times and got three different people to help me. this sounds like a foreign company using an 800 number. the website is bogus and you can no longer log on to check your statement. this is a big scam and every one should not use this company. i am no longer paying this company until further notice.

  • May 31, 2017

I was fraudulently charged late and service fees after the account was paid in full. This occurred just 4 days after I spoke to CSR who removed all fees. Upon reviewing the balance online through their website, I noticed though fees were credited back to account, they then charged me additional fees. I then called the 800 number and after an hour and a half clarifying their mistake, they agreed to remove all balances on said account; with the exception of $5.96 which I paid through my debit card, as they would not allow check payments. I then called back, one day later to verify that everything was correct and this particular CSR told me they could not honor the latest waived balance. Knowing that their accounting procedures are deceptive as well as unethical, I am compelled to expose their practices. Please note they do not allow any email correspondence or provide on line message service through their website. This is unacceptable and I'm furious!

I have a credit card threw CreditOne. I used to make my payments ussing my bank debit card. They made a change to that and are now charging $9.95 to use bank debit cards now to pay the monthly credit card payments. They set it up this way. They would deposit 2 small amounts to my bank acount to prove that was my acount. They said for me to wait 5 to 7 bisiness days for the 2 deposits to enter my bank acount. My acount threw them showed I had made two payments threw my bank acount so I asumed everything was set with them. Yesterday it showed I had only made one payment to them. Then today it showed no payments had been made. I did as they told me to do, that was to wait for the 2 deposits they would put into my bank acount. I called them today to find out why they did no receive my money from my bank acount. They told me they put two payments in for payment threw my bank and they were retunred to them unpaid. They shut my credit card off and told me I would have to go to my bank and get paperwork from them to prove that is my bank acount. Then I was told to send that paperwork to them and they would turn my credit card back on. Not going to happen. I had called to find out what went wrong and to make a payment. This is the best part. They refused to take a payment from my bank acount. They did take a payment from that acount threw my debit card that is the same bank acount. Oh realy. They made me pay the $9.95 to use my debit card to make a payment. They shut my card off saying I was to blame and they would not accept money from my bank acount. Then they turned right around and accepted money from that acount but I had to pay them $9.95 to take my money. They are scamming people out of $9.95 every month to make a debit card payment. They do that by making demands for bank imformation that I and I am sure lots of other people will not do that. I look at it like this $9.95 a month times 100,000 people is one huge rip off. They belong in jail and I hope somehow that will be done. A cheater is a cheater no mater how you spell it. A cheater is also a crimenal who belongs in jail.

I had an account that became delinquent. I applied for the credit card as an individual - NO co-applicant. I did request that my husband receive a card as a card holder ONLY. My husband just discovered that the delinquent account was also listed on his Equifax credit report! Since I applied with no co-applicant, the only social security # listed on the application was mine. I don't know how they got my husband's ss #! They have committed fraud since they are also holding my husband, as ONLY a "card holder", responsible for non-payment AND surreptitiously acquired my husband's ss #. My husband and I couldn't communicate with the "collector" because of his dialect. BEWARE to those who are researching Credit One's integrity, remain fortunate and DO NOT open an account with them!!
