This company doesn't disclose their auto ship, or any prices. I responded to a free $4.95 trial that also forced me to buy another $4.95 eye serum if I wanted the original moisturizer sample + shipping. I have ordered on line cosmetics and always read the fine print related to auto ship and or cancellation policy, there were neither of these on-line or on the packing slip that arrived with the products. I started getting billing on my credit card for $89 & $86 for these products. I immediately called and they responded by saying we'll give you 50% of your money back. I demanded 100% of my money back and they agreed, but ultimately they have only credited 50% back and I have talked to their representatives 8X.. they continualling tell me that we are "trying our best".... 5 months later! I'm contacting an attorney after all this time and filing charges of consumer FRAUD & going to seek damages after complete, intentional FRAUD is clearly their mode of operation. This company need to be shut down immediately. Also contacting Consumer Fraud Division at the national level.

On January 16, 2017 I accepted the Coal Cosmetics "free" trial of their creme for a postage charge of $4.95. The same day they added $1.49 for expedited shipping according to them. I did not request this nor was it offered. The form to accept the free trial offers no terms or conditions, no fine print to let one know that 14 days later (1-29-17 in my case) they will charge you an additional $89.69 for the creme you just got on "free" trial.

Subsequently, they charge your card each month. I was charged an additional $89.69 on 3-1-17 for the second shipment. The creme is shipped from Florida, (no company name on the box) but the charges are via SUGATONE in California, phone: 800-796-0479. I promptly called to cancel this account and requested refund of the fraudulent charges. I was given confirmation numbers for each of the three fraudulent charges, however, to date no refund has shown up on my card.

I even cancelled the card and got a new number, but in my case "recurring charges" are automatically transfered to the new number. So my only option is to discontinue use of the card completely.

It should be noted that the Coal Moisturizing creme is available on Amazon for $24.50 an ounce, the same size given via this "free" trial. It is a total scam. They are also on Facebook. I tried to send a message there, but it does not work.

I have talked to several credit card companies and they all say that signing up for a "free" trial is an acceptance of recurring charges to ones account. They say you have to read the Terms and Conditions, but in this case there are none to read.

There are no contact numbers anywhere I could find. no way for me to cancel any future shipments that I didn't sign up for. So, I called my bank and they helped me get a claim started. only ordered and agreed to pay for shipping. was charged almost $200 for crap anti aging creams that probably came from walmart. more shipments the next month that I did not order... more charges. my bank filed a fraud report and refunded my money and issued me a new debit card... but then yesterday I got an alert from my bank stating the refund had been reversed and the bogus company got my money again! I can find no phone numbers , addresses or any type of contact info for Coal Cosmetics at all on the invoice. So I can not even call them to cancel whatever thing they signed me up for. HELP!

Obtained credit card number for shipping free trial face products and are now charging more card and shipping unauthorized products every 30 days. Products do not work and are being falsely advertised. No phone number or address on website to contact directly to stop shipments or complain.

  • Jun 13, 2017

Responded to ad regarding Coal Cosmetics trial offer $4.95 shipping cost only. in less than 30 days credit card billed $98.36 for one product, $98.47 for another. Called customer service, after holding for an hour spoke to Alan who was only able to give me credit for half of the money billed to my credit card. This company was able to keep almost $100 my money and that's where the scam comes in. They know you're going to complain so they refund you half and they get to keep the other half for their profit. BUYER BE WARE.

I ordered the coal cosmetics free trial for $4.95 S&h) only back in april. Today, i received another jar and could not understand why. They had no name or phone number to call about this. I looked online for coal cosmetics and low and behold, up pops all these scams about it. Well, i checked by credit card bill and there it was, a charge for $89.69 from the same company! i called the number i found from these scam reporting sites and they were already closed. I will call back tomorrow and see what they say. Luck will have it, i have an attorney in the family that will be more than happy to help me on this if my credit card company cannot! shame, shame, shame on this a-hole people!

  • Jun 1, 2017

Scam on free trial, not free. No contact information received no return address, no email confirmation of order, no disclosure of terms, unauthorized charges on bank account. My attempts to contact found no viable customer service email. Complaints on their web site were refused by them as spam.

  • May 17, 2017

There is no real company behind these products. No Customer service...no recourse for getting your money back..Just the same run around saying there is nothing they can do, they are so sorry...

The only way to find their phone number, of which there are several, is on your bank statement. However you will need to look for the exact charge as you will not see Coal Cosmetics anywhere, just some made up name as stated previously, along with different phone numbers for each product.

When you call, they will tell you to return the items separately with different RA numbers. When you do not receive your refund, don't bother to call as they will do nothing to help you. I gave them the tracking numbers saying that the items were returned to them a month ago and still they do not know why I have not gotten my refund but there is nothing they can do sbout it and they sre very sorry.

There is no information regarding the company name, phone number, email address on the packing slip when the product arrives, making it extremely difficult to get them to stop sending you the products.

This needs to be shut down immediately, if not sooner.

Stupid me for getting caught up in this in the first place, howerver i have never seen anything like this before and I purchase almost everything on line since I live in the middle of nowhere.

After watching an improbably miraculous transformation of a wrinkled face into one that was line-free, I was lured into accepting the offer of a free trial of the magical Coal Cosmetics moisturizer.

The moisturizer rrived, together with eyer repair serum which I hadn't requested. Needless to say, the product did not live up to its billing. Shortly afterwards my bank called to ask if I'd authorized a transaction that appeared on my account.

This was when I discovered that my free trial was going to cost me $89.00 for the moisturizer and $86.00 for the unwanted eye serum. To add insult to injury when I googled Coal Cosmetics to find a phone number, I found out that the same products were available from other vendors for $23.00 and $27.00.

After a heated exchange with Coal Cosmetics by phone I was offered a 25% refund on the charges. Really depressing, though.

Ordered a small sample online using credit card tompay for sample only. started receiving shipments in mail, received two such items that we returned imediatly.

discovered that our credit card had been nilled for four shipments.

called twice to cancel.

contacted credit card company to protest the four invoices.

Coal cosmetics Charged me 86.96 for a trial of mosterizer and serum no where did it say i was going to be charged that amount only 4.90 for shipping. Received product it does not work want to return products snd get my money back. Called the 800 958 5410 number no answer.

  • May 11, 2017

I responded on line to a free trial sample offer whereby buyer pays for S&H only to be paid by credit card. I received both items 10 days after order was placed. 14 days after that my credit card had 2 charges listed @ $86.69@.. When I called and inquired I was told by Luis that I had enrolled in a program which would charge me the full price 30 days after the date of the order placement. I explained that no where on the advertisement did it state such information. He said it was listed in Terms & Conditions which I answered, there wasn't such information listed otherwise I'd not have signed up for it. Heck I can get Le Mer from La Prairie for less. No refunds could be made or credit given. I explained to Louis that what they were doing was unlawful, fraudulent and a scam. "How can you work for such a disreputable company I asked. No reply. I cancel my bogus membership and got a confirmation number. Basically, if it sounds too good to be true--it is. By the way, the product is glorified chicken fat which made my eyes puffy.

At my age, how did I fall for this one?? Oh! Now I remember. The wrinkles on my face!! Watch out when you see "Free" on the first page of Coal Cosmetics Age Defying Skin care ad. I saw "Free Trial," which turned into "Trial" on page two and "Laskin Products" on page three. All you have to pay is $4.95 shipping and Oh! add they eye serum for another $4.95 shipping cost. a 1 oz. jar of moisurizer cost me $89.69 and a .5 oz. bottle of "Age Defying" eye serum cost me $86.96!! Where was the Catch that I missed?? After you enter your name and address to have your "trial" product sent to you and you stupidly enter your credit card info like I did for the shipping, at the very bottom of the page in super light grey print is the following:

By submitting, you consent to having read and agreed to our Terms and Conditions and after your 14 day trial period has expired, being enrolled in our membership program for $ 98.41 plus shipping per month. You can cancel anytime by calling (877) 721-3344.

Am I furious with myself?? You bet I am but this is a deceptive practice and Coal Cosmetics and Laskin Products must be super hard up for customers to pull a scam like this. Oh sure, they'll say the Disclaimer was right there in plain sight if I had just read it. True. My Bad!! Hope this saves the rest of you your hard earned money!

One final thing. So Coal/Laskin's names aren't even on the packing slip that came with the products. No telephone number, no address to return the products before the 14 days you have to return the products. This is what was on my bank statement: CSI*KULKORE, CA 8006943701 and HCI*BILSKYN, NE 8006905894. The two charges of $89.69 and $86.96 were not charged on the same day either and there are two different phone numbers. Strange? So I called the first one demanding my $89.69 back. The very polite young girl told me multiple times that if I had opened the product and it was past the 14 days, I not only couldn't return the product, but I could get no refund what-so-ever! At some point I insisted that I speak with her Supervisor. All the Supervisor's were in a meeting, she said. I asked when their meeting would be over and I'd call back. Well, she couldn't disclose that, she said. Such a crock. But she finally asked me to hold on a minute and she'd "see what she could do for me." She came back and said that she could refund 1/2 of the product cost to me, $43. That was Before I found out that the other $86.96 had been stolen from my account. The young girl, Alyssa, never once asked if I wanted to Cancel my "enrollment in their membership program." She was very well trained. I guess they were recording our conversation, or at least that's what the recording said when I called.

Tomorrow I will call the "other" 800 number and see if I can get a refund for 1/2 of the other charge AND cancel my membership in this every exclusive (not) program.

SHAME ON ME!!

I only had it for a few days when I saw they had taken money from my checking account. One was for 89.98 and the other w Took money from my checking account for 2 little trail size bottles that was suppose to be only 4.95 for shipping. Ended up paying for that and a lot more was taken out.

I orered online from a company called Coal Cosmetics. It was seen on The Shark Tank program. They bragged it all up to be the best face cream you can buy. So the web site was offering a free trail size, all you had to do was pay for shipping. After I received it a couple of days later they took money from my checking account.

  • May 3, 2017

I received an offer for a free health product for the skin if I pay for shipping ($4.95). Several things were sent, but they were not healthy. The ingredients were not legible. I noticed charges of 86.96 and 89.60 on each of my monthly credit card statements both under different names cheerbod and csi*kulroot They say that I ordered a continued supply of the products which they lied about. One is a coal mositerizer with the ingredients not readable and the other is coal cosmetic eye cream. I called them and they said that I did not order these. They said that when I report them to my credit card's fraud deparment they would play the part of the tape where I said I ordered a free healthy product to prove that I signed up for this continued barage of unwated products.

Never did it say I was signing up for something other than one free healthy skin product. They are fraudsters, scammers and liars

  • May 1, 2017

After discovering that I was being automatically charged nearly $90.00 for a one ounce bottle of the moisturizer product I attempted to contact Coal Cosmetics to cancel any additional deliveries and charges. The contact information is bogus. Neither the shipper listed as St.Petersburg, Florida, nor the company, listed in Valley Village, CA include any information that allows direct contact with Coal Cosmetics.

  • Apr 10, 2017

I accepted a free trial offer of Select Skin Serum/DR-Cream with shipping fee of 4.95 for each product. They automatically signed me for a subscription and charged me the full amount for what was advertised as a trial sample. Turns out the sample is only free for the trial period of 14 days. You basically need to let them know that you don't want the product in order to cancel the subscription. I called the customer service spoke to Aileen and she said she cannot cancel the charges since it was past the trail period. I tried to ask for more information about the company to complain but she cannot give me physical address only fax no. She was in a hurry to put down the phone and said that she has a lot of calls waiting and hung up on me.

  • Mar 27, 2017

Scammed by offer for FREE moisturizer. Just had to pay $4.95 for shipping/handling . Immediately started searching Internet for information about Coal Cosmetics. Got a bill for almost $90.00 for product. Called Credit card company a d found out all sorts of info and phone numbers. The fine print says that one has signed up for a subscription and will be charged every time they ship! That's like over $90.00 for each item! They guy with an accent tried to tell me they would discount the items and I said "No way" as I want a full refund!

  • Mar 14, 2017

Yes, I did order one free sample and paid shipping and handling. What I did not ask for was a second shipment with a payment of eighty-nine dollars. I do not want future shipments. I am existing on a limited income and can not afford this! I sent them a Facebook message and I hope to hear back soon. Meanwhile, I am sending this unwantedd shipment back with a note asking them to cancel.

  • Feb 22, 2017

Free Coal moisturizer and eye serum trial. Nowhere did it say auto shipment, or return after 14 days.

  • Feb 20, 2017

Bought cream for wrinkles and now going to be billed 180.00. Every month this was a trial. No way to stop this. I want this stopped.

  • Feb 16, 2017

I ordered a FREE trial on Coal Cosmetics and paid the $4.95 shipping. I immediately sent an email (it was the only way to contact them) and asked them to not auto renewal anything. I asked for the to please confirm. Two weeks later, I they charged me $87. I sent another email asking why I have not heard back.from them and please do not ship or renew. No response. This is a SCAM.

  • Feb 14, 2017

They have yiou sign up for a Free Trial and pay shipping only. Then they bill you 89.69 and keeep sending face cream that is worthless or no better than any lotion. It is very difficult to find a phone #. They was no terms or conditions on initial order. First they claimed they could not find record of order # i gave then said they have no cancellation poilicy and I must have overlooked policy terms. I said there was none and wanted to return product. They said I could not do that and there is no refund. i have alerted my bank to try and help. They hung up on me when I said I was filing a fraud alert report.

  • Feb 13, 2017

I ordered a free sample of Coal Cosmetics Moisturizer on 12/19/2016 and an Eye Serum was included as a free gift. The packing slip included no company name, address or phone number and the return address on the box was in St. Petersburg FL. On 1/9/20917 my credit card was charged $89.65 but no product was received. On 2/2/17 my credit card was charged $89.65 again. This week I received Moisturizer and Serum, again with no info on packing slip. I have tried to contact them via two different email addresses, neither of which is valid - coalcosmetic.com and coalcosmetics.com. The address shown on my bank statement is CA and phone #800-983-8168. I called the number and received a recording that does not identify who it is but it says they have nothing to do with billing and credit card charges, call you bank and credit card company. It says you can leave a message and if they get around to it they might call you back.

  • Feb 8, 2017

First never knew I signed up for membership they claimed. When I tried to cancel twice, called, they claimed no record of me, yet had already charged me for the items. Not until I called my bank, and my bank mediated, did they suddenly find me and allow me to cancel. Never again will I get suckered in. Sadly, this "free" product was endorsed by Dr Oz and all famous people. Hope this helps others to stay far away. There was never a fine print. I took a screen shot of the purchase, thank God. They never sent any confirmation of purchase, no address of company, even asked me 'how did you get our tel number?" When I called!

  • Feb 1, 2017

Saw an ad for FREE sample of beauty product, but you had to pay shipping of 4.95. There was NO agreement to sign up for ongoing orders, as I read the fine print. Free, free free. Was suppose to be a product developed by Angelina Jolie (actress). Got sample, a couple of monthes go by and I get 2 pks in the mail. Since I didn't order any thing, I sent back w/o opening. A week later, I get the same two pk back, so I opened. It showed a invoice for free Coal cream and eye lotion and no charge.

2 weeks later a charge for 89.85 on my bank acount. Called the bank and they gave me a ph number. Called toll free number, No Co name was given so I asked. They were abrupt, but gave me the name. I told her the illegally charged my account. I told her sinc the charge was pending, I know they have not shipped, so to cancel the account and give me back my money. She started to say she could give me the product at 50%. I told her no, just to cancel. She again came back with a better offer. I again told her to cancel and give me back the monies they charged. She said I could only get 50% I told her that was BS. Why only 50%.? They had not even mailed it yet, They better give me all my money, that this was a scam. She then said that normally they don't do this, but will do this one time, and give me a full refund on both charges, and cancel my account. She said it depends on my bank, but could take up to 30days for the refund, but she has already processed it and gave me a conformation # (I don't trust them). Contacted my bank, disputed the debit, and reported consumer fraud. Had the bank cancel that card and put a block on future transactions (but deposits will go through).

I then went online and looked up their product and they were charging over twice what I could get through another scorce. I do like the product, but better of getting through Amazon. These kind of ads (free just pay shipping) are always a scam, and you end up paying more then you should. This was the second time I went through this. DO NOT FALL FOR IT.

PLEASE don't order anything from these people, or any other that says Free...just pay shipping, as they are bottom feeding scum using deceptive ads to rip people off.

I ordered a free sample of COLE Moisturizer and Eye Serum thinking it might help my wrinkles. I should have known better.

I received the sample and was mistified that there wasn't a packing slip in the two boxes that each item came in and not a name on the return address, just a P.O.

January 27 I received another shipment of the moisturizer with a packing slip but without a phone number or an address where I could cancel any further orders. I am sure that a package of the serum will be in the mail soon.

At this time I can't even call my credit card company and cancel payment.... I really don't know what to do next!

  • Jan 27, 2017

It said on the internet, send for eye serum and moisturer and get free sample. Nothing included in the package as to instructions to order or cancel.

today, January 26 a package came with a jar of Coal Cosmetics Mositurizer which I didnot personally order. Try to cancel order by calling two telephone numbers. My order number was not found. I am return this in the mail to the return address.

I guess I got burnt, this cosmetic is no different from the one I bougght in local store. He doesn't do anytrhing.

  • Jan 4, 2017

I located this product on the internet and was intrigued to try the product with their trial offer. I purchased the trial moisturizer and eye serum each at a trial offer of $4.95 + shipping. Recently I received mailed products to my home that I was not aware I would be receiving this month. I looked at their invoice included in the box and it did not have any charges nor nowhere on their printed invoice did it indicate a phone number. I spent several hours on the internet trying to locate a phone number for this company. Finally, after calling other number I located them at 800-958-5410. I called and spoke with their Customer Support person Alex and asked why they sent me these products and he advised I signed up for auto delivery. I advised that is not accurate and asked where it indicated this information. He advised it was located in their Terms and Conditions which I agreed too and I again disputed. I advised I was not aware of these terms and asked for a refund. He advised they do not provide a refund and to give these products to a friend or family member. He was very rude. I asked how much they are billing me for these products and he indicated $89.69 for each the moisturizer and serum. I asked to immediately cancel this for future shipments/billing. When I asked what my confirmation number for this cancellation he advised I would receive an email. Nowhere in their fine print did they indicate I was enrolling in auto delivery and would be charged $89.69 x 2 = $179.38. This company is running a SCAM and should be shut down! There is no such thing as a one time trial purchase!
