If you want to buy a clock look anywhere other than Clockway. They do not support their products and refuse to accept and rectify customer complaints. I have had two cuckoo clocks from Clockway and they both quit working after a few months. To be more clear, I paid over 1700.00 for a 28" cuckoo clock and had it for only three months and the left pulley to wing the clock froze. They replaced the clock and the same exact thing happened. And now they absolutely refuse to back their product. Clockway will end up paying attorney fees, county costs and refunding my money which when completed will cost them close to 5000.00 or more. That's not the way you run a business!

I placed an order for a Pulaski Bar & Bar Back at the beginning of June. The rep said they called Pulaski and confirmed that the item was in stock, it would ship and be delivered in 7-10 days. I happily paid more $ to order from Clockway instead of another retailer I was looking at because I was told I could get the item sooner from Clockway.

Nearly 3 months later, I do not have the complete set. The initial "in stock" order was not in stock as they initially claimed, and I was told it would ship end of June (later than that first place). Just prior to the first delivery, I was told that they had discovered a piece was broken, and they would not be delivering after all. After many phone calls back and forth, they said that I could just take delivery of the pieces that were not broken, and the replacement for the broken part (hutch) would be sent out right away. Even that caused a week delay.

I accepted a partial delivery because I was told it was better to have those 2 pieces, less chance something would break with all the back and forth, and the replacement hutch would be sent "right away" and arrive within 7-10 days. That sounded reasonable, so I agreed, but I am now being held responsible for having accepted a partial set. After the replacement hutches broke in transit again, I was told I would have the missing hutch by 8/20. Again at the last minute, I was told it wasn't going to make it after all, and I'd get it this week. Now I'm told it's not coming this week, but it has "shipped". So I called Sun Delivery and they say it is not shipped, and they don't have a delivery route planned for my area yet. Which means it isn't coming next week, either.

After multiple failures for the company to deliver a full set, I asked for the company to come get the pieces they delivered and refund my money. I was told I would have to pay the initial shipping in addition to the return shipping if I wanted to give up on this mess, because I had accepted a partial delivery on good faith that the hutch would be delivered in the promised 7-10 days.

I had no idea the hutch would continue to break in shipping, and that nobody would know until a day or two prior to the scheduled delivery, after I had rearranged my schedule to be home. I will NEVER order from Clockway again, and I strongly urge anyone else to never do the same. If you do choose to order, NEVER take partial delivery, or you will be held responsible for the return shipping if the company fails to deliver the rest of the merchandise. It's ridiculous that I am now held responsible for Clockway & Sun Delivery's multiple failures. I either have to keep rearranging my schedule for a delivery that might not happen or pay shipping fees in the hundreds of dollars to give up and find something else. In addition, the "free gift" isn't free - it's sent postage due - so not free. Minor in comparison to the rest of it, but still false advertising.
