Contracted for Moog suspension components with grease fittings. Directed that if no grease fittings do not install anything else, return car. An initial estimate, specific Moog parts identified, located, and available. When I took the car in, they changed their story and said only Moog pre assembled components were available (they didn't want to repair the car, just swap parts. They said nothing about pre maintenance problem analysis drive that they advertise about. I approved the change. Specificall reiterated, if the components had no grease fittings, do not install. They acknowledged the order and the grease fitting mandate. On pick up... CBA had lost the tire lug lock socket. The front office made excuses, then took 30 minutes to find the lug lock socket. I asked if they conducted test drive after parts swap completion? (CBA does not repair cars, parts, or components. They just swap parts.) the couter rep stated absolutely, which was a total lie. Got in car, didn't even make it out of parking lot. Car was making massive grinding sounds from front end. Returned to shop front door. Looked under car. Car had front sway bar links installed upside down. Wheel rim hit sway bar links on turns, peeled off balancing weights. Front office staff made excuses, mechanic admitted screw up, took 30 minutes to correct, had to go elsewhere to get wheels correctly balanced. Asked if CBA had powered up car before alignment to assure auto level system set correct height prior to alignment? Mechanic gave weird look to counter staff, one counter staff made excuses, other counter staff lied and said "absolutely". Another lie, in addition to the lie about a post maintenance test drive. Then asked if they had installed as directed, Moog parts with grease fittings? The counter sales staff stated absolutely! Concrete temp of over 110, I did not crawl under to check the parts for grease fittings. A few days later, I checked for grease fittings. CBA had installed third rate off brand no name parts with no grease fittings, and lied about it. They also did not correct pricing to reflect decrease from using off brand cheapo parts. Placed several calls to them since I got the car back, concerning their lying and installation of completely wrong parts. They have refused to return my calls.
