All I want is my money back they refuse to give it back. I spent half a hour trying to get my money returned to my account. The machines they authorize broke mid transaction and instead of reversing they want me to wait up to 100 days to get my money because they are suddenly not a bank but a financial institution? Uh same thing thanks. People everywhere keep losing money from Chime. This is bull.

Chime Bank/Stride Bank Chris Britt President and CEO founder and the Customer No Service Chime bank Changed my Pin number without letting me know. I just started auto deposit and they held my electronic payment by changing my pin, then put my money on a credit card that i can borrow against. But after days of ignoring my emails which were plenty that's what they did, and refuse to let me me have money. Its a total scam set up a auto deposit then embezzle ur funds and put them in a credit card you have never had. I've no clue WHO has my card, but they just got my paycheck. www.chime.com

Do NOT fall for the false advertising of their Credit Rebuilding Program ! They only lure people who are trying to improve their credit buy getting them to have their entire checks direct deposited in a Chime holding account and then, even after they send you a Visa debit card, and verify who you are, when you try to activate the Credit Rebuilding Program, that has to be done in the Chime App, it says your denied because they cant verify who you are ! After complaining to Chime about it, they then requested I send them a picture of me holding my Driver's License, up to my face next to me holding a plain piece of paper with the date written on it ! After I complied with the request, the Chime App still denied me with the reason being, once again, they could not verify my identity ! Now Chime is saying their is nothing they can do about it ! FALSE ADVERTISING at its best. They now have all of my money and personal information and home phone number and more. They wont even tell me what I can do to try and further the validity of the person they already had me verify on multiple occasions to no avail. Closing my account ! Good luck if your going to sign up with these shysters ! I was lied to about their Credit Rebuilding Program

On 04/24/2021 Google*Luxy Limited $423.99+$254.39=$678.38 I filed a Dispute With Chime Banks Dispute Dept., Was Given A Time Frame Of 90=07/24/2021, that they would have a final decision to refund the said amount listed above, it is now 90 days today they still haven't made a decision, nor have they returned my funds, it's been constant game playing for 90 days, now they are saying that have all night to make a decision because they're open 24/7.

I asked for a provisional credit since I've waited for so long, I was told that my particular transaction does not qualify for a provisional credit. Then, when I called them again at 4:30 pm on 07/24/2021, now it’s at the end of their business day ends at 9 pm on Saturday.

At 4:54 I Spoke To Roxanne manager on duty Chime employee ID 2866865, Who is now saying that My Claim Was Actually Supposed To Have A Decision on 07/23/2021, instead of 07/24/2021, she has to now escalate it to the investigations dept. to, make the final decision, and someone will reach out to me within 3 business days After I already waited 90 days.

I am a 100% disabiled veteran who was hospitilized earler this year. At said time I had several different chargers that where take out of my account ammounting to my entire disability. At the time of the charges a card had never been activated on the account. EVER. They never mailed me one.

Two charges to a girl named sarah in China were attempeted then refunded. then the next morning in charges to a drop saler company in china was made. I filed fraud on those charges and got 1800 back, but the put a hold on my account. I told them I wanted to file fraud charges on the APPLE.HK and they said i couldnt. Ill say that again. they closed my account and said i couldnt file fraud. they said that because I had attempeted to send money to sarah in china which i didnt. I was in hospital. The accused my girl friend of doing it. Sorry but the woman is a WASP she cant even understand southerns let alone chinesse, and she was with me in the hospital.

Basicly month and month later they even keep the extra money in the account and never send me a check. They lied to the IC3 and police and Im terminal anyway so Ill get my money back if i have to take office supplies from them to get it.

I called Chime Bank aka The Bancorp Bank to let them know that I need to reverse the charge on Hollywood Inn and Suites in Los Angeles California because I accidentally booked a room on Booking.com

I was charged $77.70 I called Booking.com and Hollywood Inn & Suites to let them know the mistake. They told me my money would never be refunded, even though I didn't receive service from them. This hotel is participating in sex trafficking of children, and need to be investigated.

A fraudulent transaction of $68.81 was initially charged to my credit card on March 22 2021 to Deliveroo.co.uk which is a food delivery service in London UK. I would never order any service from them since I live in Palmdale, California and they only deliver food to customers in London UK. The credit card company noticed this to be a questionable transaction and so it sent me a text message asking me if I authorized that transaction. I immediately replied NO and so they told me that they would block the transaction. So then I canceled the card and ordered a replacement card suspecting someone got a hold of my credit card number. I contacted Delivery.co.uk and they told me that they never made that transaction nor do they have any records of me or my credit card number in any of their databases.

To my surprise, the next day (March 23, 2021), not only did the transaction still show up in the transaction list in their mobile app, but the amount changed from $68.81 to $96.88, which should have been impossible since they already texted me that they blocked the transaction. Furthermore, I canceled the card the previous day so the card shouldn't have even worked. Then it changed again on March 26 to $95.56. That’s when I realized that it was the bank itself making the fraudulent transactions since the amount of the transaction can not be changed by a merchant for the one transaction with the same transaction date.

I am furious that Chime suspended account after I taken care of the issue of my wallet being missing. I disabled my card and ordered a new, and than after I do this. Chime waits til the day I get my payroll deposit to suspend my account. And I have a disconnect notice for today for my electricity and these mfs telling me that I have to wait 24 to 48 hrs ....i will NOT DO THAT I AM CONTACTING MY ATTORNEY NOW.

Claim Id #1142293 On 9/18/20 I Filed a Dispute to Chime Bank that someone made 9 seperate unauthorized Transactions between 9/9/20 to 9/17/20 Totalling $1,497.00 On 10/7/20 Chime Denied my Dispute, No explanation. On Chime Bank Website they Promote a Visa Zero Liability Unauthorized use policy. Some stole $1,497 from me and Chime Bank Refuses to do anything about this.

Do not fall for we do not hold your money all they do is blame the federal reserve. Federal reserve is a clearing house that releases funds first thin am ie as soon as they are received.

Chime holds the funds funnelled thru two banks and then pays you 12 hours later

I reported my debit card being stolen and that there were $2,972 worth of fraudulent charges and transfers. They mailed me a new card, and i have been in hell since then. We're on our fourth rebuttal, and they're continuing to close the disputes and refusing to return my money. They received the police case number and verification from law enforcement that this was fraud. They also received verbal and written notices from merchants affirming that i did not make the purchases and gave all personal information of who did.

There's been a ton of documentation, at least 2-5 calls a day, resending of all information which now has film of this person committing these acts and withdrawing funds within 10 seconds of fraudulently sending money to herself, statements from two detectives, 1 patrol officer, one merchant, and myself verifying fraud, and itemized forms showing i was also 6 hours or more away from this person, and there are charges/phone records/etc. To show i was that far away when it happened.

They still haven't given anything back, had a "manager" inform me they weren't doing anything no matter who i talk to, want to say i went two days without using my app after a deposit so i must have known everything, they have no legal department so stop asking, and it sucks to be me. I have lost my apartment, and my car is being repossessed. My kid is only able to eat, shower, and sleep because she's getting to stay on campus at her school.

They should be shut down.

I wouldn’t recommend anyone use this banking company for any kind of banking services. I haven’t had this account for more than a month and i only opened my account because my sister had it as an option and she told me there wasn’t any fees for over drafting. My direct deposit was going to my account but the second i wanted to receive my funds via cash app my card suddenly stopped working altogether. My account was closed without my knowledge and consent and they dont even bother to confirm your transactions but will tell you there may be suspicious activity happening with your account. This is even after a new card was sent to me by mail smh. All in all please dont bank with them its all a scam

I LOADED ABOUT 500 - 550$ ON MY CHIMEBANK CARD. I AM ON SSI/SSD AND LOADED MY CARD SO THAT I CAN PAY MY BILLS TO AVOID FEES.

THEY BOUNCED MY RENT, STUDENT LOANS, AND CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS BY REFUSING TO UNSUSPEND MY ACCOUNT SO THAT I CAN PAY MY BILLS. THIS IS A PREPAID DEBIT CARD THEY HAVE MADE ME SUFFER! STILL SUSPENDED!

I opened my account on 9/17, On 9/18 I received an email that my debit card was mailed. Later that day I tried to log in and my account was suspended. After hours of calls, messages, emails, they finally re-enabled my account on 9/19.

But wait...my direct deposit was returned. First I was told it was that the name didn't match the name on my account. Then I was told that it was because the account was suspended. The first supervisor told me he was escalating the matter to have the deposit credited immediately and to call back in 30 minutes. When I did I was told the deposit was returned on 9/18. But wait...Then he said the deposit was received today 9/19. How did they return a deposit on 9/18 that didn't come in until 9/19??

So either they are completely incompetent and inept at their jobs or they are lying their a*ses off....

I want to get to the bottom of this and find out what is going on over there. In the meantime I have $3 and can't get my medications or gas in my car or food. And now I have to wait for my employer to get the deposit back to give me a check

They close your account randomly. There's no warning of this in small print I read it). Not only do they randomly close your account, they do it with funds in it and say it will take 30 days to recieve a check.

There is no warning. You get the email when they do it.

This is one way they retain funds for investments. Another is they keep cards as people recieve direct deposits, and they're unable to access their funds.

Remember, banks dont just hold your money, they invest it. Think about why they're re doing this. It's a scam!

My Bank account was hacked.

I had 3 authorized transaction taken our of my account. I filed a formal dispute and filed a Police report that was sent to Chime. I was told for 2 weeks I qualified for reimbursement which I assumed the bank had insurance for such fraud.

The morning of the 24th of August, at 1:46am, I received an email, that my account was terminated. In the meantime, I have asked Chris Britt, the CEO, to semd me all the information on the investigation I was told they did. I have also filed with ALL the Consumer agencies this issue.

I signed up for an account they have my direct deposit I never got my card they said I could send my money to a friend but my friend has to become a member first they sent a new card that would have got here last Friday but they cancelled it and for security reasons they had my street address correct but the apt # wrong so they updated it and said they would have it here in 3 to 5 buisness days.

I looked in the app they haven't updated anything they also sent an email saying it would be here in two weeks they said I could add an external bank and get it that way didn't work they said venmo it didn't work they have $488 dollars of my money l couldnt pay rent I can't even buy a soda right now if I wanted to and ik afraid if I tell them they still haven't correct it they will do the same thing again I lost the room I rented I don't own a car so I can't sleep in my car and right now it's 5:30AM I have less the 9 hours to change my direct deposit or they will get my money again.

On 12/3 at 12:12pm PST, I was at a Chase Bank location hoping to receive $400 in cash off of my Chime Bank card after being paid.

Not only did the ATM not dispense ANY funds, it did not provide me with a receipt, nor would it give back my card (I literally had to jerk it out of the machine).

I mentioned it to Chase and they literally shrugged their shoulders and told me to call my bank.

I called Chime and they mentioned I would have to file a dispute. Chase would not assist in any way. I was sent a dispute form and emailed it right away. I then asked customer support for my claim ID number as that is what I needed to check the status. Their app is a BOT. It repeats the same messages over and over. I finally called and got my claim #. I asked if they received the paperwork needed (as they stated they would give me a temporary credit within 10 business days if I sent off the paperwork) and they said yes. I then received a message from the bot that said they had NOT received my paperwork. I called back and then they said they had. I later received a message from the bot saying they had received the paperwork, and it would take the "20th day" (whatever that means) to credit me. Then another said on the 10th business day, I'd receive a credit.

I am left with no funds as I wait for what feels like a shot in the dark. I have gone to their Facebook page and elsewhere, and their reputation is awful (stealing money, essentially, from those who may have credit issues and don't bank with a physical bank). They are fraudulent and customer support cannot answer a straight question without sounding like they are uncertain (and if you speak to someone else, you get a different answer). They say they will update you via email, but I have yet to receive any emails.

I also called their sister company Bancorp to try to discuss with a manager, and, of course, the manager is too busy right now. They are all about putting you off and placating you while you are in a panic wondering if you will ever receive your money back. They prey on those who live paycheck to paycheck and it is a disgrace.

I have already reported them to the BBB and will be reporting them to the Attorney General's office. Again, these issues are ongoing and these exact complaints and scenarios are never-ending.

I believe they intentionally make it difficult for consumers to receive their money and then you have to fight to get it back. This is theft and I will not stay silent.

Chime will suspend your account without notice. When you try to contact them, they do not provide help and direct you to send your request to a support e-mail. This type of illegal banking practice is also what netspend does. They lock up accounts in hopes that some people will ignore it or not bother to go through fake hoops to reclaim the money that is originally theirs. Chime is a scam and you will not have access to your money when you need it. Be warned, this is not "free banking", it's a crude and illegal attempt to take small amounts of cash from a large group of people... Stealing by volume.
