This Summer I purchased a van to take my family on a few trips all over the united states. I purchased a van with a bad transmission and too the transmission to Jeff( certified transmission and service) I dont know what certified of they are because they are not even qualified in my opinion. I asked that the transmission be fully rebuilt because our first trip was going to be from Colorado to Florida. Jeff said he would have it ready in 2 days, 2 days went by with nothing but excuses ( im waiting on parts, cant find a torque converter,) we finally got the transmission back the day before we had to leave for our trip and we had it installed. 3.5 hours into our trip the transmission gave out and I had 11 members of my family with me in the middle of nowhere Kansas, called Jeff amd he admitted to not lookingdeeper into the transmission( I paid him to rebuild it in the first place). I HAD TO RENT A CAR IN KANSAS TO DRIVE BACK TO COLORADO TO RENT A VAN BIG ENOUGH TO FIT EVERYONE IN MY FAMILY.

Upon our return we had to pay to have it towed back to colorado and took it back to jeff. Excuse after Excuse 2 months after the transmission is still not working, when I asked for my money Jeff said he wont give me my money back and he rather go to court and in his own words "YOU MIGHT GET A JUDGEMENT BUT I CAN GUARANTEE YOU WONT GET ANY MONEY".Jeff also suggested I take the transmission to someone to have it fixed and to take him the bill? I took the transmission to someone that actually know what they are doing and they found that they had 4x4 parts in my transmission when my vehicle is a 2wd causing a speed sensor for the rear tires to not read the speed of the wheels and causing a hard shift. Told Jeff if he was going to cover the repairs and he said Court it is. I will go thru with my small claims case even if I dont get any money but I want to make sure this guys is no longer in business anymore. Finding a lot of people at auto zone and on the net that KNOW how this guy operates and RIPS PEOPLE OFF.!

Dropped off a transfer case 3 weeks ago. I was told by Jeff it would be a day or two. Now he doesn't even have the decency to answer his phone or call me back. Just got off the phone with Commerce City PD. All I want is my transfer case back at this point. I'm kicking myself in the a** right now for not looking this crook up beforehand. I would have seen the 2 reports on this website topping the list of that google search!

I ordered a transmission from a listing on craig's list. This character I believe his name is Jeff agreed to sell me a remanufactured transmission and told me he would be in Cheyenne WY between 5 and 6 pm that night. He asked me to bring the old transmission as he needed the core.

I live in Casper Wyoming I offered to pay $600 for the reman 700R4 and the offer was accepted. I drove to from Casper to Cheyenne to complete the deal. Called Certified Transmission when I got to town and was told that they didn't load the 700R4 and only delivered to shops. I asked where I could go to pick up the transmission. I got a text back from 7203538252 telling me that they were going to pass.

I strongly suggest that you pass on dealing with this company/individual.

Jeff Jolliffe likes to change business names and I've found several complaints on different sites dating back to 2012. Basically, I dropped off a transmission to be rebuilt and he was paid in full. He over promised work that he never did, had a LONG LIST of excuses, and will even bring up "personal problems" to make you feel bad....don't fall for it. Several months went by, and lack of communication on his part, I eventually had to take it to another shop. Money was never refunded and he stated "that's not how it works" when the subject was brought up.

He currently operates Certified Transmission & Service (more like certified ripoff artist) and advertises his business on Craisglist using his phone number only. He can change the phone number and he can change his business name, but do not do ANY business with Jeff or Leisa Jolliffe. Complaints have been filed with the state. If you have been unfortunate enough to deal with him please contact: Colorado Attorney General for consumer complaints. http://www.stopfraudcolorado.gov/about-consumer-protection/complaint-forms/consumer-complaint-form

I was having a problem with my truck it was making a clicking noise so I took it to this transmission shop because I thought that's were the problem was coming from , I discribed the noise and told them I was in no hurry to get the repairs so they could take there time and fit it in at there leasure because I had another truck I was using. about 30 days went by and I got a phone call from them saying there was a issure with a sensor and would be about a hunderd dollars to fix and they hoped that was it, another 3 or 4 weeks went by and I got a phone call from them about 7am one morning asking if I had picked up my truck and of course I hadn't they told me they had been keeping the truck in the shop but this day they had made the chice to leave it outside because they didn't have enough room and when they came in this morning it was gone, so both called the police and a little late they called again and said the police would not let them file a report so I had to do it.

I did and I went down to talk to them and they assured me they were going to make it right and would be taking care of everything.

About a week went by and I got a phone call from the Omaha police and they had found the truck and it was in the impound yard now, I call the transmission shop and they said they would send there tow truck to get it and I had to go down and sign the paperwork at the impound yard and pay the fee and they told me I would be reimbursed for the fee. They took it to there shop and apparently started to fix it as I could see by looking in the window that they put the dash back togeather and about another 3 weeks went and I hadn't heard from them so I went down again and spoke to the same guy who assured me it would be fixed and he said that the motor was blowen up and that they were not going to fix the truck, I have repeatedly tried to get ahold of the management there and was only able to talk to Amand Fink one time and she said it's not there responsiblity and as far as she knew I might have stlen it myself. Needless to say I don't know what else to do, can you help.
