this means nothing

This is actually not a review but rather a reply to the last review. This doesn't sound like a scam but it may be a scam. It is sure not proven by the above review. Yes it is a call center anyone with any nohow would have know that without asking. I came on this site to get answers if there were any complaints and was disappointed by the review, I learned nothing. I don't like the $30 per month charged so I may opt out of that, but as far as paying for them to fill out the correct paperwork for their $900 is ok with me. People do have to make money for their research and expertise.

Your crazy - CDC saved me from my student loans

What legal scam is that number tied to? I'd love to see proof of said bullshit. People like you are the people that ruin good businesses because this company is a good and honest company that helped me tremendously so I don't know where you get off saying these not only with no proof or actionable information.

skeptical but open minded

Can you please tell me more? I am in the process of getting out a personal loan to possibly pay for my enrollment and eventual forgiveness...I do not want to be naive and trust something that's not true. But at the same time, I believe in giving people who appear to be honest a chance...

Scam

Scam, you hand over your student loan information and then are never spoken to again. Who knows what these people do with all your personal information.

With that logic.....

With that logic kind sir then you should put H&R Block out of business or how about lawyers that assist people with the FREE paper for social security (that is very easy to do mind you)

How about the people that know absolutely nothing about these programs? Want them to blindly trust themselves with something they know nothing about? Doubtful!

I sure as hell wouldn't dare trust myself with something that I knew nothing about until this letter came in my mail. Yes, they charge you for a service you can do for free but so does hundreds of other legitimate companies that are in multi-million dollar industries so don't wet yourself and get a life.

You people are sad and unfortunate

Because you come on here with no proof or real complaint. You come on here and complain about getting contacted and think it is a scam and my response to that is if you think it is a scam then don't call the number, they aren't holding a gun to your head. That goes for everyone the company has been around for a couple of years and there's a reason for that.

To my review: I paid them for a service that I otherwise could not perform. They took the monkey off my back and allowed me some breathing room from my student loans. Yes, I know I can do it on my own and I don't care because I know nothing about these programs and maybe it is simple to do it online but what if I f*** up? I take my taxes to H&R Block for that same reason so you guys are crazy to sit here and think this is a scam. They charge you for a valuable service that you OTHERWISE WOULDN'T HAVE KNOWN ABOUT!!!

Because guess what I knew nothing about these programs before they contacted me, did you? VERY DOUBTFUL! Now stupid bitching like a 2 year old and get a life.

THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM

This is a total scam and rip off they took my 800 dollars they did not do anything and keep sending me emails for more documents. Finally I did it myself . Please do not send any money. They send letters make it sound real. but they are not registered with better business bureau and they are criminals they will take your money and will not do anything. The whole process for me started in June 2016. and I got email they send the documents My federal student loan company did not receive anything, they still send me emails from different people each time asking for more documents.Nothing has been done for the past 6 months, and my loan was due in October I was going to face penalty if I did not do myself quickly.

I was told by the company that they could help me consolidate my loans and move to a graduated payment plan that was significantly lower than what i was paying. Once i agreed and paid them money to do so, the new payment plan was no where near what they told me.

Using this company is a waste of time and money. There is not need to pay for such a service when you can consolidate and change your payment plan for free.

Rude nasty salespeople

These people are nasty liars. Stay away! You can do what they offer for free. Just call the Dept of Education or your lender yourself. These people are predators preying on your ignorance. What a shame they can't find legitimate work and have to prey on someone to make a living. Educate yourself and you will put these losers out of business. You can have access to all the same programs they are selling by simply calling the dept of education or your lender.

Final Notice

I also am receiving the same kinds of letters. Is this a scam? I called and was told they work with the Dept. of Education? I am not confident that this is a scam.

  • Jun 28, 2016

I keep receiving letters in the mail about consolidation my student loans. The letters keep saying FINAL NOTICE, but they keep arriving weekly. There is no return address, no email address, no website. Just a 1-855-614-2105, that is traced back to some old legal scam if you google the number. The letters keep getting more and more elaborate, and now they have the full amount that I owe on the letter. I hope that other people who are receiving this letter will see this, and start questioning the validity of this so called company, CERTIFIED DOCUMENT CENTER, and not fall into a scam, as i called in to the call center to get their email address and i hears many people on calls.
