I wish that i had seen these complaints sooner. My nightmare with recco dates from mid-2015 to 2016, and is similar to other complaints. He was paid in full More than $14,000) for a roof replacement and other home renovation services that were contractually engaged and never completed.
He was also paid - in full, and in advance - more than $2000 for the creation and installation of custom iron work. He absconded with the money and has never returned. He has been given 10 months to honor the contract and return the stolen money, and as time has proven, he has no intention. When threatened with litigation, his response was that he would create false invoices and produce receipts to show that i owed him money. No matter how friendly or charming he appears to be, don't be fooled like i was. There's a pattern here, and apparently i'm just one more victim.
