I am a Veteran and I have served my local community for over 27 years. I had a very simple problem with the water dispenser on my refrigerator which is a $75 replacement part. My wife was at home alone when the service man came and replaced the part in 15 minutes, and he charged her $238. My wife doesn't know any better and tips him $5 plus pays him $238 by check.
I call the company afterwards and they refuse to provide me with an hourly labor rate. The service repair man Jason Mackay says he charges whatever the company tells him to and refers me to the Service Manager "Dan" who tells me the price is a "Flat Rate" and refuses to justify why I paid $163 for labor.
I was told before they came that there would be a $90 service fee to determine the repair, but that fee would be returned towards the labor rate if I elected to have the repair completed.
This company took advantage of the good will of people who thought that a local company would provide an honest service.
Never Never Never again will I use, or recommend this company! They are a Ripoff and refused to even negotiate a fair price when confronted with their obvious overpriced repair charges that they only with disclose after they complete the repair and hold you hostage in your own home unless you pay.
