I strongly urge anyone reading this to avoid Marc Capone and his law office. BUYER BEWARE.
We contacted Marc Capone and decided to use him for a bankruptcy filing. His fee was higher than anyone else we consulted with, and his policy was to get his entire retainer fee UP FRONT.
Relcutanley we paid his fee of $2095 up front via his offices only means of payment (an internet debt card only transaction) and then did all the nessesary paperwork via his website, and I personally dropped of my case file to his office.
Shorly after, we realized that due to circumstances beyond our control, we could not....i mean literally and legally could not file for bankruptcy due to the these circumstances...rendering his serices usless.
At that point we simply asked for a refund in writing only to be ignored to date....
NO BANKRUPTCY PETITION WAS EVER FILED ON OUR BEHALF NOR WAS ANY WORK DONE ON THE CASE FILE, AND SERVICES WERE NEVER RENDERED TO WARANT KEEPING THE ENTIRE RETAINER.
Marc Capone takes advantage of peole already in finacial dire straights hoping they will not be able to finacially afford to go thru the nessesary legal channels to get a refund, not affording the customer the right to recind is a clear violation of the NJ Divison of Consumer Affairs, "Consumer Fraud Act" and is reprehensible and unethical...
..We are filing a claim in special civil court of Ocean County NJ, if any one else has fallen victim to this Law Firm feel free to contact us.
