On 17 January 2017 we took our travel trailerto be fixed by camping world of Calera we talk to them on the phone told them I want that we were not getting main power but everything else was working through the 12 board for the main power so the air-conditioner wasn't cutting on and we just weren't getting main power at all. We purchased the extended warranty for $1995 when we purchased our camper and April 2016 in Alabama . And we brought the camper to them on the 17th a few days to do the diagnosis and after them doing the diagnosis they called and told me that our main power was out power converter being out and also due to the converter going out or microwave was killed because of that and I also found that the entry light bulb was out. And they told us that converter was covered under warranty and so they replaced the converter that charged for shipping fee for the parts and miscellaneous labor fees they told us the microwave was not so we opted to replace the microwave ourselves and they charged us $64 for running a diagnosis to find out that the light bulb was out in there. And two weeks later I'm dropping it off in Ashlee on 17 January or camper was finished being worked on that Friday I talk to them late Friday afternoon and they told me it was ready to be picked up but I had to go to work in golf Shores so I was on able to pick it up that Friday but I was going to be off Sunday so that was the only time I had to pick it up . They told me that I would leave it outside the gate for me but that in order for them to do that for me to be able to pick it up on a Sunday when they were close I would have to get them payment over the phone I asked them how do I know everything is working before I pay you they said that they did all their checks and that everything was working except for the microwave which I choose not to have fixed so I paid out-of-pocket for the miscellaneous expenses and came Sunday to pick my camper up . And on that Sunday with camper up we drove it down to Golfshores straight stopped one time to get fuel and get some lunch to take the camper up around 11:50 AM in Calera the day to golf Shores I got it to the beach express RV park Alabama and plug my camper in . I plugged it in and I found the main power worked my slides popped out Jax work and I had lights and air-conditioning . Once I start turning other switches on I found that several of my lights were not working my refrigerator was not working my freezer was not working my fireplace is not working the entry light that they replaced ended up melting the case. So I came to find that my camper was in worse shape than it was when I took it to camping world of Calera. Call camping world immediately even knows a Sunday night and I talk to somebody with camping world I'm not really sure who but they documented what was going on and I received a phone call the next day from the corporate office explain to the corporate office what was going on they contacted Kevin want to Calera who called me and left a voicemail while I was at work I call them back when I got the chance going on and they told me that they would see what they could do they asked me if I could bring it up there I told him no I'm using it for work. I didn't have time to bring it up there nor was I going to travel 3 1/2 hours to get to Calera when there's a camping world in Robertsdale 30 minutes away from me . I suck a lot of calls and arguing to get them to send somebody from Robertsdale to come out almost a week little over a week later almost 2 weeks later . While I was waiting camping world of Clara was very hard to get in touch with they didn't seem to return my phone calls or I want to try to make anything right they try to blame it on a lightning strike which was not the case . After the people in Robertsdale came out to look at it they determined it was not a lightning strike and that my circuit board for the fireplace was shot and my refrigerator had a bad cooling units and that something that caused a lot of the electrical to fry different appliances . Also the bedroom TV was shot as well .and during their diagnosis while I was in my camper they were not sure what actually caused it they said it could've been a number of things and that they would discuss with the manager in Robertsdale about what they found and would get back to me. And I never heard back from Robertsdale the camp a lot of Calera called me this past Saturday morning and told me that it was hooked up to 220 V power and that's what caused things to go out it was not their fault and they weren't going to do anything to fix it . I told them that I did not hook The camper to any other power besides the power at the beach express RV park which is the power that is currently plugged in the power that the tech in Robertsdale seem to think was fine . I would've been virtually impossible for me to put this camper up to any 220 between Calera and Foley Alabama because number one I only stopped one time for fuel and lunch and number two there was nowhere with the 220 outlet. And I explain this to over the phone where they argued with me and told me that I had no way of proving that it was their fault and there was no way I could prove it they were not taking responsibility and they were not going to fix it unless if I paid for it . We are extremely upset that are less than a-year-old camper that we got from camping world of Aniston is now become such a burden to where we have to put money into it and camping world of Clara is refusing to take any responsibility for anything .
