Camping World Reviews

  • Jul 11, 2023

Camping World sold a disabled veteran a used RV motorhome and said it was new on March 30, 2023. It was taken out for a trip the following week and broke down. Had to spend 2,300$ to get it home. We returned it to where we bought it; they have had it for four months. As of 7/12/2013, they have not made all the repairs. We have been lied to by the GM, the Service manager, and the service clerk. We should have known better when our salesman stated he and all the salespeople were from the used car business. They are out to scam people and will not return calls. Whatever you do not buy from camping world, and if you live in Texas, stay as far away from the New Braunfels location as possible.

I can't add photos because I have not had the unit since I bought it in March.

This letter pretty much sums this up. I received a response from [email protected] because I posted a Yelp review online. I guess that must have hurt a little.

Hello Good Sam ESP,

I’m only contacting you because you asked that I do so. I never thought I would need to use the Good Sam ESP, but before I knew it, I did. Years ago, I was a Good Sam and Camper World member with a 40-foot Class A motorhome that had engine trouble along the way. I never had to spend money out of pocket to diagnose engine issues for, “lubricated parts”. I am in week 3 of a rental vehicle and I am hemorrhaging money. I am stressed to the core, and this is causing my sleep and my quality of life to decay, “I expected better from the Good Sam ESP”.

I have a 2017 Camaro 2.0 Turbo with just under 57K miles. It started with a P015B code, so I changed both O2 Sensors and the issue went away, but 6 months later it was back, “I changed them again”. One day I found oil in my air intake, and I assumed it was blow-by, so I installed an oil catch can system, “a really good one”. I thought this would fix my issue, but the cans were full after 2 weeks. I took the Camaro to Automotive One, and here we are. Your guy came out and verified the loss of compression and Good Sam ESP asked for a quote. Mind you, I never received a call or email from Good Sam ESP, and if it weren’t for the service advisor at Automotive One “Leon”, “I would not be in the loop at all, it is like Good Sam ESP doesn’t give a d**n”. I am not car stupid, “I am a BioMedical Engineer working on surgical robots, and I know how things work”.

I retired from the US Army, and I didn’t want to use social media, but the next blogs will include me in my Army Uniform with a caption that reads “Army Retired Veteran gets shafted by Good Sam ESP”. I will start from the beginning, and I will tell my story all over the internet. I am not threatening Good Sam ESP, “I am simply standing up to abuse by a large corporation”. I make my payments and I expected you to be present when I needed you. Honestly, so far, I am not impressed with the level of communication or concern for my issues. Why must I get my information from the repair facility? Pistons and rings are lubricated parts, and they fail, “sometimes for no reason at all, I am smart enough to know when an engine has died, and why on earth would I pay $3000 plus in labor just for Good Sam ESP to find a reason to say no”. I have the records of care for the vehicle and the Camaro is spotless in every way, “that car means everything to me. When I was getting ready for work, I thought about it and offered an olive branch for Good Sam ESP, “I will pay $1000 co-payment instead of the $250 I should be paying”. To have my engine torn apart, AC charge lost, bolt-on parts, all of this before you “the great Good Sam ESP”, decides to fix my car?

Is this how you are making your money? Good Sam revenue is reported at $562.2 million dollars annually! “Do you get this wealth by signing people up and fleecing them when they need an engine? Well to my defense last evening the admin for the popular car club CF Mopar Mafia posted my story to its 60K plus members, “and who knows how many times that will be reposted”. I have no choice at this point, but to spend my time posting this everywhere. I am a soldier, I do not back down from battle, “and I expect anyone involved with my vehicle to be honest and reliable”. I asked for an engine replacement, with an engine of equal or lesser mileage. If you never intended to honor the Good Sam ESP “your word”, you shouldn’t be in business. For me, all I am getting is obstruction and added expenses, “not what I was sold on the phone”. And by the way, “I called you”. Good Sam ESP set a solid precedent, so I decided to be a returning customer. I hope that we can get this resolved with a conclusion that restores my Camaro and gets me out of this rental car.

You read that correctly. While you are stranded with a bad engine and you are expected to pay for a disassembly, "these people hope you will give up, or, they deny a claim based on something inconsequential. I am providing a list of people profiting from the elaborate ruse. Buyer beware, "this is a business out to make money off of the back of good people".

Here is a list of people ripping you off at Good Sam Enterprises LLC

Camping World ( Gander co) of Rossford ohio My husband and I purchased a 1995 airstream land yacht RV. Shortly after the purchase we took the RV to camping world in Rossford Ohio to be looked over, make any repairs and make sure it was safe and drivable across country. I purchased a package totally 1154.00$ which was to include a multitude of items. It was basically to check the RV from front to back. Awning was also included and was supposed to be be cleaned and if there were any issues, such as tears, they would fix those.

I was also under the impression that leaks would be checked out. Holding tanks, cracks or otherwise on top of the RV, checking the generator, refrigerator and etc. you get the picture. Now they had our RV for close to 6 weeks and we had told the sales person we were leaving to travel across the states. So it was right about a month before we opened the awning for example. Lo and behold the awning was FILTHY, both ends ripped and the one arm was bent some. Secondly, there’s a huge leak in the front windshield and on a side window.

The top of the TV does not look like it at as cleaned or waxed. Now, someone did put water in the one holding tank. I assume to check something. There are a few other areas of concern but I’ll leave it where it is. We called the Rossford store. We spoke w/ the service manager and he sounded like he cared but then did not call us back after calling him three times. We did get to speak to the sales lady. She basically made excuses and tried to say they took pictures. If they had they would see the issues!! So we did take pictures and emailed them to her. I am just beside myself! I don’t want the moon and stars. I just want this rectified; preferably by way of actually fixing the issues.

Sadly, I’ve lost all confidence in the company and I feel like the 1154.00$ is lost. I feel like we were scammed to be real honest. The sales lady acted as if it was our fault and there’s nothing she can do. It’s so sad that we paid them to do what they said they would do and now I don't think they did anything but take our money. Rossford OH

It’s hard to describe just how bad this place is - or how much has gone wrong. The make promises, sells warranties, and then do not honor the warranty.

They charge close to $1000 for a pre-purchase inspection- but don’t really do one. How else could they not notice they panels were not attached, or no one bothered to clean up tons of putty oversmear and items are working - or simply an thick layer of dust/debris on counters.

Lemon is the only word to describe the new camper I got.

Before I even used it once , - after I had to take it back due to defects in panels and they gave me the wrong keys, - when I received it back - without the panels fixed - I opened the door to the bathroom to find the vanity laying on the bathroom door - fallen and smashed a hole into the back of the bathroom door. Broke the shower track, damaged the vanity and other issues. — that was approaching two months ago. — it still is not fixed!!

I have a lost of items, including those that I pointed out before accepting the vehicle, and they are still not fixed - despite the bumper to bumper warranty I’m supposed to have and the other warranties they sold me to compliment that one.

Did I mentioned I’ve spent over 12 hours in a car cumulatively spring back and forth to the dealership to try and resolve this and a huge gas expenditure. Have they sone anything to compensate me - no!

Then to simply this I asked them to text off this lemon - they had the audacity to offer me almost 30% less than I paid just 2-3 months ago!!! Seriously!!!! Who are these people? In short- never buy from any camping world anywhere!!! Period!!!

With all the hidden fees, lack of warranty compliance, and simply the worst experience of my life - stay away. Stay away, stay away, stay away!

In October of 2019 I brought my brand new 2020 RV into Camping World of New Port Richey for some minor warranty work. While there, they forgot to close the cabinet door on the kitchen island before closing the slides, breaking the cabinet. Here it is, 4 months later, mid February 2020, and my cabinet still has not been repaired.

Camping World has had nothing but excuse after excuse, and lie after lie as to why this is. First we were told parts were on order. After several weeks, still waiting on parts. Then they received the wrong color. Then they needed measurements. Then waiting on parts. Then again, the wrong color. Even after towing the RV down to them 3 times the repair still has never been done.

The employees genuinely seem to not care about the damage that they have caused or that it has yet to be repaired. I am completely frustrated at this point and have very little faith that they are ever going to make this right. Corporate has reached out after I complained on several social media sites, but they only passed the ball back to the original location that caused the damage to begin with. Back to square one.

Not to mention, that the warranty work that it was originally brought in for, batteries that continually go dead, was never addressed either.

Bought travel trailer for what we were told was $30,000.00 and placed a $3,100.00 down payment for it, which means it would be financed for $27,000.00. Viola! The first bill came from the bank and it said we had financed $39,000.00, which means the trailer cost $42,000.00 before the down payment.

I took it back and left it with them, but lost the $3,100.00 down payment. NEVER take what Camping World says at face value. Actually READ your contract before signing it, because they will LIE!

Needing a new awning I looked around and found Camping World had what I wanted. It was a Dometic 8500 and a metal weather shield. On the phone I ordered it and was told that to get the special price I would have to join Good Sam. $29.00 was added to the order and I told my installers it was on the way. I was a little concerned that I didn't receive an email conformation but waited and several days later I received a call inquiring about my delivery address. Humm, we double checked every detail and now the had the address wrong. Or did they??? This was when they opted to inform me that the weather shield was NOT included, Humm again. As you can imagine I was outraged, I demanded someone in management and I got a rude person named Larry. He told me it was not included and I informed him that my calls are recorded. I told him to review the company recordings where at least 3 people had confirmed the order included an awning AND a metal weather shield. A couple of days and I contacted him again and he admitted the sales people had told me the weather shield was included. He said "we made a mistake so we will ship the weather shield for only $150 more. Having me over a barrel I ok'd the order and requested to speak to someone in management. I was put in contact with Ellen Smith who said she would look into it and advise me of her decision. It has now been almost a month and I have heard nothing as far as a decision, just silence. I even requested to speak to her supervisor and have not heard from him/her.

Beware when doing business Camping World, read the reviews first.

This company is one of the worst I've ever dealt with. I bought a Honda generator from them last month (Feb 5th, 2018). The generator was back ordered (which was not advertised when I bought it). They never emailed me or contacted me to tell me that it was backordered. I had to wait two weeks and call them myself to determine this. After a month of waiting the generator was finally delivered to my residence covered in black ink toner and with a big gouge in the box. I opened the box assuming the damage was superficial and just to the packaging but the $4000+ generator was completely covered in black toner. This shouldn't of been a big deal but their customer service made it like pulling teeth.

I called and talked to one of their reps and was immediately put on hold, I hung up and called again and got a rep that I thought cared about my situation.

He couldn't tell me if they could replace the item in a timely fashion, which is what I preferred, but he claimed they would be there tomorrow or Monday to pick up item (it was Thursday night). He promised me a callback in 30 minutes which he never did. I tried calling them back at 9:30pm and their call center was closed. I called them back the next morning, because it's a pain to organize for someone to be at my house to meet with their shippers, and I was under the impression they would be stopping by either that day or on Monday.

The rep I talked to wouldn't tell me anything but that I had to wait for a callback from the other rep who failed to call me the night before. I waited until around noon when I filed a BBB complaint and then tried calling them again. I talked to two different reps before I was finally put on the phone with a manager who proceeded to blame me "for not waiting long enough", mind you they told me they would be by to pick up the generator that day or on Monday, which I did not know which. He said the item was back ordered and would take another 30 days+ to be delivered. At this point I demanded a full refund of purchase price, and a refund of my Goodsam and Roadside assistance as well, which they did. I would hate to be stranded on the side of the road being treated like how they treated me over this simple online sale.

Fast forward to Monday their shippers comes out to pick up the generator and it's determined their call center manager never sent out the lading form and they couldn't accept the package. Camping World also lied to me and said R&L would be able to repackage the generator themselves, of which R&L told me they do not do. I had to wear gloves, and still got toner all over me as I retaped up the package. I also had to re-call Camping World's abysmal customer service department to demand they send me a lading form so R&L freight would even accept the item.

All I wanted to do by filing a BBB complaint was talk to their corporate. When the company responded to the BBB they told me to call their 888 number. I replied I would not be satisfied until I spoke to a corporate Camping World rep. After my response they stuck to their position and forced the BBB to close my complaint.

Camping World is an awful company with the most abysmal customer support I've ever seen. Their CS reps only want to get you off the phone asap and will make whatever promises they can to make that happen. Buyer beware! They lure you in with low prices and then make you wait months to ship the items, which are usually damaged, hence why they can offer the lowest price. If you're buying a RV, generator or accessories go somewhere else.

Won lifetime membership to campground at R.V. show was told to go to Grannie Annie's on a Tuesday night. no one showed from company .phone calls have not been returned house had attempted break in while I was at phony appt. Total scam don't give them any info

I've tried everything to get rid of this horrible company. You can't unsubscribe as their button doesn't work. I've called them and asked to be removed and was told no problem. That was a lie. I've blocked each and every email and they still keep pouring in. Do not create an account with them or they are like the friend who never leaves your home.

Upon calling Camping World to inquire as to the price of a used motorhome, I was asked to use my credit card to give over "a one thousand good faith deposit" before being given the price. After the salesman sending pictures of the unit, I agreed to purchase the unit.

I was told the unit could not be purchased for the $8500 I offered initially but could be purchased for a tad under $8700. The reason given was Camping World was losing money as it cost $1500 to prepare the unit for sale.

Next, I asked to speak to the manager who then told me they sold the unit to a "wholesaler" offered more money then what they agreed to sell it to me for. I was buying the unit for a 73-year-old friend who is down on his luck and needed transportation and a home to live in... the motorhome solved his problem. He is very disappointed.

Bottom line... I was lied to and used by Camping World to enrich themselves at the expense and feelings of an old man.

Be extremely cautious dealing with Camping World... they claim they have over 100 locations nationwide... to be safe, assume the way I was treated is the way you will be treated.

I applied for a loan for the travel trailer we purchased from camping world and they added $112.00 per month payment onto the loan saying it was an accounting fee. I told them it was ridiculous. $112.00 added onto my already high payment . The accountant insisted we had to pay or no loan. Ripoff. So $112.00 extra per month extra onto my loan plus interest. Very upset.

June 06, 2017 - On 06/04/2017 I called the Internet Sales Manager at Camping World Myrtle Beach, SC to inquire about a specific RV they displayed on the website. The RV was reduced to a very attractive price as it was a 2017 model and had been on their lot for over 200 days. I informed them as well that I had bought my current RV from them just 2 years earlier and I was a repeat customer.

After speaking with the manager for about 45 minutes we agreed to allow him to run our credit card for 10% of the price to hold it until we could drive there 5 days later to buy the RV. The hold money was totally reimburseable. I was out of state and Myrtle Beach, SC is a 4 hour drive from my home.

I called the manager 2 days later to provide some financial information so the process could get moving before we arrived. During this time the manager informed me they had just sold the RV we had on hold. But was all too eager to offer some other options at their regular price.

So this company cannot be trusted and obviously has no business ethics. The top priority is whoever gets to the lot first. A company always shouting how much they care about their customers. This greed and dishonestly should tell everyone just what type of people operate this store.

I highly recommend you run from these people as fast as possible. Find another RV company.

I was at a low in my life from divorce and lies by my wife, only to have a sales person at Camper world direct me to a wrecked motor home, yes a vehicle involved in a major accident and they sold it as excellent condition at a great price of 99,9999.00 Should have been a clue, and then let's close it now, big clue, but hay it's camper world and Macus A Lemonis so call people people. Do not buy it. They just give you trash

We have been long time customers of CW. We have bought 2 campers and referred many friends and family. In December 2015, we had damage to our camper, covered by insurance. We brought it to CW for repairs. We signed a direction to pay with our insurance company. By late April, we picked up the camper with one outstanding item - a small decal that couldnt be found - We took the camper to begin our seaon.

Last week, there was 8 transactions of about $178 taken from our account, unknowingly from CW, totalling about $1400.

At first they denied the transaction until I got my bank involved. 3 managers lied to me more than once. The next day, we received in the mail 8 sales transactions. No invoice ,no receipt or estiamte. No one will take our calls now.

We called our insurnace company, CW was paid, check was cashed on 12/2015 for the exact amount they took from our account. ( also note, that due to the transaction, our account was withdrawn and we had to cancel our card as we thought there was fradualent activity)

Its been 5 days, and NO one has been able to anwer us as to why money was taken without our knowledge.

They are sneaky and liars. They practice unethically and are not trustworthy.

Traveled 30 miles to RV parts supply store wanting to buy parts to repair a plumbing problem on RV.

Ignored for 10 minutes by employees who are chatting with each other, eating snacks, testing matresses, or staring at computer screens.

Finally guy comes out of a rest room and offers to help. Tell him what i need, he leads me astray, suggests

something very unrelated to my needs, again specificaly tell him what I need....he takes me to the area the plumbing

parts and points to several empty bins...not even the plastic PEX tubing is there; he moans that the techs repairing

RV's have raided the parts and nothing is left for retail patrons for walk in DYI...he suggested I go to Home Depot . I did,

got what I needed plus more, and went home. Camping World is a chain of stores with inflated prices, poor service,

and junk that even Walmart rejects. Better to order on line , pay the postage, and save youself the frurstation.

Never make the mistake I did. I bought from Camping World of Tampa (located in Dover) Florida.

They only care about the sale. After that - their policy is to say "don't call us, don't bother us, call the manufacturer, we don't care about you, it's yours now, deal with it". No service, no help and no professional ethics what-so-ever. I bought a new RV. My second new RV. I will never buy from this place again.

From upper management to the sales rep, to even the receptionist... all trained to blow you off when you call in for service. They only want to service what they need to in order to complete a sale. The rest of what they tell you is all sales B.S. Don't buy it, don't believe it... run - don't walk from this location.

We purchased a new 2016 Jayco Precept from Camping World Longmont. The air conditioner did not work so we took it back to CW to learn that it was improperly wired. The first weekend out the generator stopped working, the bedroom valance fell off, exterior molding came loose and it appears that the inventor cannot pull the load. We sent it back to CW where it has sat for weeks. CW claims that they are waiting for warranty authorization from Jayco. Jayco claims that they have not heard from C W.

We we went by C W to find the RV unlocked. CW has customers sign that they acknowledge they are not responsible for theft or damage.

We missed camping with family over July 4th and have cancelled and/or rescheduled other prepaid trips. Next week we are scheduled to take 8 people to camp in PA. Fees are non-refundable but our RV has been taken apart at CW. They don't have a timeline for getting it back to us. Post sale, they simply do not care.

We received a coupon book for payment on an RV that we cannot use.

Never purchase a Jayco product if you are locked into using Camping World for warranty work.

There are numerous RV warranty complaints. I would love to see a class action lawsuit against the various manufacturers. RVs are not protected under the lemon law and these are definitely lemons.

Camping World is owned by Marcus Lemonis. He is in no position to give advice to other companies.

We called for a rough estimate on replacing the rubber roof on our RV. The make, model and length were provided. We were told it would cost between $2,500 and $3,000. We asked for this information beforehand because Camping World is about a 115 mile round trip from our home. We received a written estimate of $7,788 and were charged for giving the estimate. We can understand missing the estimate by a few hundred dollars or even a thousand, but wanting $4,788 more is ridiculous. We are out two round trips - hauling the RV there and leaving it for a week and now going back and picking it up. Camping World is truly a rip-off company.

I purchase a used 2013 Motorhome and was told that they would perform a $2, 00.00 inspection to assure everything was working. When I picked it up everything seemed like it worked but some things, like the water system couldn't be checked. 4 months later I take it on the first trip and it quickly becomes a disaster. Water pump starts making a very loud noise and has no pressure at the faucets, the roof has a leak, the front windows rattled so loudly that you couldn't hear the radio. The hot water tank makes a sound like it is boiling. So I bring it back to the dealer and have them make the repairs. They tell me that goodsams service plan will not cover any of these issue. I call goodsams and am told that all of the issue fall under one or another of the exclusion. So I ask why the water system wasn't covered and am told that it was do to contamination or corrosion. Not sure what else can go wrong with a water system.

Asked them what is covered and was rudely told to read my contract. So chalk one up to very poor customer service along with an absolutely worthless service plan. Camping World service called to say it was ready and it would be $ 2800.00 so go to pick it up and the bill jumps up to $ 3800.00 and when asked why was told that was what it came out to be. Of course I just wanted to get out of there before I lost my temper. When looking at the itemized bill (which wasn't given to me until I walked out the door) I noticed double and triple billing. So I will of course never do business with Camping World or GoodSams. What they don't know is that I live in a campground community with over 300 campers. And will be posting notices through out the campground about my experience at Camping World. Just doing my part to see Camping World lose more customers.

Bought 2 new batteries for my RV 6 months ago, 4 months later i noticed the batteries were not holding a charge very good, 2 months later I had them checked at an auto store, they said they were not holding a charge . Took them back to Camping World and they said they can not warranty them because they had gone dry and one had regular water in it . These batteries are each over 100 dollars and 6 months old and strored in my RV in Flagstaff AZ where temps do not reach over 90 degrees , the salesperson said they could have dried out because of the heat. We ordered a part for our class a motor home from their site. Site stated it was in stock and ready to ship. We waited 2 weeks and still no part. We called them and were told it was on back order. As we needed item yesterday and had already been without for 2 weeks, and were never told there was a problem, we were upset and told them to cancel order. We ordered off Amazon and had it a week later. 4 months later, I get a low balance alert on my debit card. They took the 148.95 out of our checking account. I scrambled to cover a 40.00 check I had pending on my account and called camping world. They claimed they knew nothing about it and couldn't see it on their end. A day later we get a call and are told there was a glitch in their system and we would get the money back in 3-5 business days. We got a refund... 2 to be exact but they only totalled 148.94 when put together. So I guess, my heart attack and hours on the phone and in the bank gave them reason to keep my cent.

Let me get my 2 cents in, steer clear of this company. No one apologised or even seemed to care about what they put us through. They were rather rude to us about the whole thing from beginning to end.

On July 10, we went to the Camping World in Kingston, NY, as we were having electrical issues with the passenger side of our 2004 Fleetwood Expedition motorhome. They determined that the problem was the four house batteries were bad. After talking to the service manager, at his suggestion, we went to Sam's and bought 4 golf cart batteries and then took them back to the Camping World to have the batteries installed. We paid $226.84 on Friday for the installation of the batteries. We left Camping World with the electric working correctly and were very happy. Two hours after getting back to our campground, the power on the passenger side of the coach went off again. We were really upset. We had just spent all that money and we did not have our full electric service. We called Camping World, and they told us they were too busy to check our unit on Saturday, so we were back early on Monday morning. After checking out the batteries, we were told that they must have been incorrect that the golf cart batteries would work, and suggested we use the batteries sold by Camping World, as they were "stronger" and would solve the problem. The Golf Cart batteries were taken out, and while we took them back to Sam's, the service department installed four of the Camping World batteries. After paying an additional $660.92 for batteries, we left with the electricity working. Our next stop on our trip was Wells. Maine, and early Tuesday morning, we were on the road again.

For our first three days in Wells, we had full electric in our coach. On day four, everything on the passenger side of the coach went out again. We decided that it had to be an electrical problem in our coach and would live with electric in half our coach. The refrigerator runs on propane gas, and we arranged other things to run off power on the driver side of the coach. We continued our travels in Maine, Massachusetts, and back to upstate New York to Niagara Falls. All this time, we are managing without electricity in half our coach, in spite of being plugged into 50 amp shore power at every campground.

On August 20, while we were at Golden Hill State Park, on Lake Ontario with our frustration over this whole electric problem mounting, myhusband called Fleetwood Motorhomes Customer Service for help with the problem. He worked for two days with a service tech, checking the invertor lights to make sure that the problem with not with the convertor. It was determined that the convertor was ok. The techwas at a loss as to what the problem was. After my husband got off the phone with the tech, he was out looking at the battery bay, just kind of scratching his head, trying to determine what could be wrong. Our neighbor came over and asked what the problem was. Don explained the problem and the history, including two sets of new batteries.

To our delight, the neighbor, was a retired electrical engineer. He got his voltage tester out and they began checking the batteries. All of them were fully charged. However, he noticed that the terminals were all loose and many had corrosion on them. My husband called the service tech at Fleetwood he had been talking to and it was determined the dirty connections and the loose connections were most likely our problem. The two guys spent the whole morning cleaning the connections and tightening them down. The invertor circuit breaker, inside the motorhome had been tripped. Both the service tech and neighbor agreed that the most likely cause was the loose wires bouncing around and touching one another during the drive most likely shorted the invertor circuit causing more problems. The circuit was reset and amazingly enough, the power came on in the whole coach.

I cannot begin to tell you how pissed-off we were when we realized that all of this could have been prevented if the techs at the Camping World in Kingston had done their job right. The corrosion on the connectors was obvious, they we green with it. They installed two sets of batteries; you would think they would have noticed it at least once. Then to not tighten the bolts to holding the connectors to the battery terminals, this is totally inexcusable, shoddy workmanship.

We contacted them for a refund on the battery installation fee and have been ignored. You would think that someone would have noticed the connections were green with corrosion and been responsible enough to tighten down them correctly.

I bought a 2015 Salem trailer in March 2015. Was advised by the salesman Steve to take the trailer out for a weekend and report back with any repairs/problems. After taking the trailer out we reported back with a significant list of items that are wrong with the trailer. These problems were very serious including having to have the roof replaced, siding replaced, windows inoperable, to major repairs within the unit. Camping World has had our trailer for a total of 5 months and returned it with horrible repairs, repairs not completed, and damage to the trailer. We left the trailer again, after making 3 trips out there to the other side of town, worth a promise it would be completed this Thursday the 17th of September.

The manager, Jesse, said if he had to do the repairs himself he would make sure they were done correctly. Jesse gave us a $250 gift card for their store and said Forest River would reimburse us, he believes to be the amount of $750 to cover our monthly payments and insurance for the last few months. We attempted to upgrade to another trailer and they would not even work work us. They do not stand behind their product and Steve even told us they had stopped doing business with Forest River in the past and the only reason they still deal with them is due to their incentives they are offered. Here we sit 5 months later with no trailer and still paying monthly payments and insurance.
