1. Was unable to fix the issues with our appliance

2. Took to long had to come back multi times

3. vehicle parked infront of our home was stacked with everything

4. was on his phone multi times not related to our service or that of his company

This servicemen had come out to our home after we had called a local Appliance repair shop that had been reccommended to us by a neighbor he was so incompetent and was unable to fix our issue that we ended up getting our money back and going to another repair shop. Our experience was so aweful that we thought long and hard about reporting this online Beware

In 2010 I had Campbell Appliance, Heat & Air , Inc. install a new hot water heater and new Central air system. Campbell appliance offered to register our warranty ith Carrier and as we found out later when we needed the warranty coverage, they did not register our warranty as promised. Campbell, over the period of time the unit as failing e spent money with them on replacing the expansion valve, 3 times! Also the coil twice and still the unti failed to cool. We had problems with this equiptment over and over for several years, from 2011 to 2017. We found Campbell had not registered our system ith Carrier so we had no warranty to help us at all. We had another company Austin AC Express come out and evaluate our system. The first thing they found was the system was "mismatched", Campbell had installd a 2 1/2 ton compressor and a 2 ton coil plus a 5 ton furnace! The AC compressor and coil were highly underpowerd for our home of over 2,000 sq.ft.

They even sent out an installer to put spray foam inside the wall to insulate the Thermostat! Who does that? I'll tell you

a dishonest business trying to cover up what thy had done! Also the spray foam " their installer" put in the wall fell to the bottom inside the wall, exoanded and pushed out and broke th sheetrock in the bathroom which was behind the wall with

the Thrmostat. Campbell offerd to have th sheetrock replaced but I told them I ould do the replacing as I didn't trust thm to do a good job or to do mor damage. At my expense I bought the materials and completed the work and repair needed. We have them scheduled for small claims court Oct. 3 , 2017. If anyone out there has been ripped off by this company, I hope you will show up as a witness for us at Prescinct 3 in Austin, Tx. Also someone out there, knoledgable in AC systems woud help us greatly as this company already has an attorney on thir payroll 24/7 and we a the little guy can't find an attorney to take our case as " it's not profitable to them to do so"! This is what we the consumers in this country have to put up with and like it or lump it! Thse companies think they can do what they want to the consumer because they have the money and attornys to get by the dishonesty! This company also has 51 complaints against them ith the BBB of Austin and only 10 out of the 51 have beeb settled to the consumers satisfaction! As you can see there is already a rip off report on this company at this site.I strongly suggest you as consumers stay far away from Campbell Heat & Air, Inc. of Austin, TX. Thank you for your time.

So my refrigerator wasn't cooling on one side while the freezer section was building up frost. From past experience I knew to check the vent at the top for ice and sure enough it was frozen over. However, once cleaned the vent the refrigerator side remained warm even after 4 hours. So I called Campbell. The tech showed up and I explained what I had done. He opened the freezer side looked at the ever accumulating frost and said it was due to me having had the door open earlier resulting in moisture entering the unit. He closed that door opened the refrigerator side and declared that the groceries hadn't absorbed enough cold so the temperature in the unit wouldn't drop until that occurred. He shut that door, charged me $55 and left. I left the machine closed all night as instructed and got up then next morning to spoiled groceries, a frozen over freezer and a warm refrigerator. I got up on you tube and discovered there is an air return vent lower in the fridge that recirculates the air back into the freezer. i located that and sure enough , frozen over. I cleared that , confirmed the upper vent was cleared and verified the circulating fan was working. Boom, problem solved. When I explained this to Campbell and asked for my $55 back they said "All service sales are final". I said "I didn't get any service". Their response was that was basically my problem. Bottom line, the tech did not check the vents and did not check the fan both of which are the first "checks" when this issue arises. My advice, do not call Campbell unless you like giving away money.
