I called Andrew Custer of Overall Movers. I received a return call from Anthony. Discussed my need to move, dates, and how many possessions I would need moved. He sent an email containing the quote for service for my move. The email contained a phone number.
I had questions and called that phone number. The person answering said "C&D moving". I asked Anthony about that - I called C&D Moving and the man said they were in Mass. and were not really able to help me - so, I asked Anthony about that and his reply was "well we have organizations all over the country". I asked, so are you C&D and he did not answer, just kept on with what he was saying.
Andrew returned my call yesterday evening. He does not know Anthony and there is no Anthony working with him. He does not have a 'sales staff', his staff is himself - he is the sales staff as the owner of the company. I enlisted the help of my husband to reply/confirm my move quote as I do not have internet and must drive to the Library to use the internet. I have not been able to confirm with my husband whether or not any money was 'paid' in any way,
At this time, what I see very strongly is that C&D and Anthony is (somehow) returning calls of other companies. I do not know how, but this is what happened. Today, I went to the Library again, now to research Anthony and C&D. I found this site, and the evidence is growing - C&D it seems, is scamming folks. My intent is to re-n*g the offer on the basis of misrepresentation and elusive behavior. I hope this helps others, I recommend that all persons avoid this company, they are not true, they are not honest and that is my assessment based on what I now know.
