Business Alliance Inc., John Tittle, Dan Prechtel, John Hodges, Mike Reis Business Alliance Destroyed My Livelihood and 401(k)...Such Lies, Such Fraud , Seattle, WA Seattle Washington I was downsized from my corporate job in September of 2008, I had a severence package that lasted until December 31. I have always wanted to be my own boss, so I was glad to be downsized; it pushed me to act on this long time dream. I visited a number of sites dealing with businesses and franchises. I went to a number of franchise sites and started to study the various options, somehow I see an Ad claiming "The Perfect Business", it is a great looking business; work from home, executive pay, freedom, set your own schedule etc. Sounded way to good to be true, but I applied anyway. I got a call from this guy Mike Reis telling me about how he was referred my name and that he was a franchise broker himself earning a multiple six figures. I asked him how he got his leads, he said he gets referrals from CPA''s, Attorneys etc. I thought that was smart and wanted to do the same one day. He was very smooth, telling me that the market was so big and Business Alliance Inc. was selling so many franchises, they needed more brokers to meet the demand. I asked to get more information, he sent me the link to the site and told me to call John Tittle. I called John Tittle and got the same type information. I asked if anyone fails with Business Alliance, Inc. he delayed for several seconds as if thinking, then answered not that he can remember. Most brokers leave to become franchise owners or work for the franchise company. Very few actually don''t stay with them. He mentioned calling a number of brokers to verify the information he gave and emailed a list of 12 people and a license agreement to review. He was very convencing, trusting but something was not right. Mike Reis called back each week like clockwork...Just checking in, "oh we had a number of sales this week" great commissions, you are missing out by waiting. I called everyone on the list. Dan Prechtel told me he was semi retired, doing some training and selling franchises part time. He mentioned that he has been doing this for 25 years and it was a true great legitimate business. Later I learned, he sold the business to John Tittle and stayed with them until he was fully paid. The other people of the list were all singing the praises of Business Alliance, working 15 to 20 hours a week, making $250,000 per year. Wow, who wouldn''t want that, right? I asked to see the franchise listings, they refused, I asked to talk with there best franchise company on the list, they refused. I should have known then this was a con game, but Mike Reis called and smoothed it all over saying "Our franchise partners can''t be distracted or harrassed by non affiliates" It all sounded logical, so I moved forward. At training, I was told to buy internet leads, work real hard and make a ton of money. I did all that was asked at training, I spent $50,000 worth of my 401k on leads, not one sale...all had been called multiple times and many of the leads never inquired about buying a franchise. I talked to John Hodges, he sent me to Peter Casey and all of them told me I was not working hard enough. I was in my office from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM Monday thru Friday, ( I had to make this business work) not one sale. Meanwhile I called Mike Reis to get advice, he never returned my call. John Tittle hung up on me and Dan Prechtel talked to me briefly, then asked me to hold and never came back on the line. I have spent $95,000 in total cost without anyone close to buying a franchise. I could have done so many other things. Please anyone talking to them, do yourself a great favor, run away from them.......They are criminals, they stole my money, my valuable time, my self esteem and lastly cost me my marriage. I have spoken the State of California Attorney General''s Office, they tell me they are investigating them now. I want my money back now.....lies and cheats all of them. work business, quick money, system, financials, list of franchises, Business Alliance, works, business, franchises, franchise, franchisor, franchisee, license, agreement, earn money, accent, working, buy a business, Sick and Tired of Being Taken Advantage of!!! Los Angeles, California U.S.A.
