I purchased 10 Bushnell Trophy Cam 8 about 2 years ago. AFter only one year seven of the ten cams stopped working because of a faulty display window. The units cost about $130 per. I sent all the cameras back to Bushnell and received a response that the units were out of warranty (Bushnell only warrants them for one year). They suggested I buy replacements at the discounted rate of $139.99. Now I only paid $129 for them at a retail store. Their discounted rate was definitely not a good value. I was disappointed that the money I spent on their trail cameras only gave me one year of service. Since the display windows were obviously the problem I followed up on their rejection and was orally advised that I should contact management and they would take care of the problem. I sent multiple emails and received zero response. Their "pass the buck" mentality and obvious lie to me speaks volumns about this company.
I have since switched to Reconyx and will never purchase another Bushnell product again. I would warn anyone from purchasing any product from this company. They do not stand behind their products. I have purchased Cuddeback trail cams in the past and never had any similar problem. Just a poorly designed product.
