I contacted via text, because they won't ever answer the phone. I asked a bout a puppy that they had listed on their websight and I was told she was available and the price was $1750. At first I thoght that was too much money and told them that I was looking to spend no more than $1000. But after giving it more thought and looking for other options, I decided to go ahead and put a deposit of $425 and set later set up a time to drive up and pick her up. We drove up on Saturday Dec 16th and picked up the dog. This puppy was a birthday gift for our daughter.
On Tuesday Dec 19th, I get a text that says that says that I have the wrong baby. Then they tried to call, but I was driving and could not answer the phone at the time. They sent another text that said for me to call them. I honestly thought they were just kidding and that they were just checking on the puppy. When I got home, I looked up a picture that I had saved and sure enough, it really was the wrong puppy. very similar, but definately different. I called them back and we discussed what happened and I was told several times that she was very sorry but her husband had grabbed the wrong puppy and she was going to beat him for it. She said that I could exchange them out or if I wanted to just keep her that was ok too. I asked several things about what was the difference in the 2 dogs. she went on to say that they were from different parents and that the dog that I had received was actually supposed to be $1950 but she was not asking anything else of me if I wanted to keep her then she would just have to change all the paperwork. I told her that I would discuss with my wife and call back and let her know what our decision was.
After talking with my wife, we decided that it was best that we keep her since after several days the kids were very attatched as were we. So I call them back and said we were going to just keep her. A few minutes later I receive an invoice via email for $200. I tried to call and they didn't answer. {surprise}. I then text them and asked why I was being charged $200 when it was not my mistake and I had already paid in full. They said that I owed the money for the different dog or I could swap them out. I explained to them that I could not do that to our daughter and I should not be resonsible for the $200 when it was their mistake. But that didn't matter to them. Then they said that I would not get any papers on the dog that I have unless I pay. They sent me text after text saying to pay or they would come swap out the puppies. Which would cost them almost as much to make the trip south of corpus. So now we have a $1750 dog with no papers and they are saying via text that we stole the dog and we are trash.
Anyone thinking of buying a puppy. STAY AWAY from these people.....
