Burlington Coat Factory I bought some underwear for my daughter that she did not want because of the way they were made. She could not have possibly tried them on because they placed the price tag through the front & back but they refused to give me a refund or even a merchandise voucher. I could understand their hesitation if it were even remotely possible that anyone could have tried them on but even when I pointed this out to the manager she said the store policy did not permit return of underwear because of sanitary reasons. I again reiterated that no one could have tried them on because of how they had put the price tag on & she agreed that they couldn't have been tried on but still refused to even give me a merchandise voucher. I will NEVER do business with ANY Burlington store again!!!!!! They do NOT even try to work with the customers!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!! Arlington, Texas -

I work at a Burlington, the store I work at would have returned it.. As long as there's proof it wasn't worn. We've had to return clothes that smelled like cigarettes, or items that the customer clearly broke, and one time I had to return an open bag of chips because the lady "didn't like them", which was ridiculous in the first place to try and return.
It really depends on the cashier, you really can't make a judgment about a company over something so menial too. Like who cares, it's just underwear. I bought a pair of socks there that were damaged, but I never returned them, it's not a big deal to me.
