We hired Rolfe as a product placement rep for our film. We gave him a 10k deposit upfront and signed a contract stating that we would get the money back if Rolfe was not able to deliver by a certain deadline. He kept us on the hook, always saying he had multiple people that were about to sign and send us money.
Needless to say, nothing ever happened, he never delivered and never returned our 10k. We were forced to sue him. We still have not seen any money even thought it was court ordered that he return the money. So, yea, save your money and never work with Rolfe. If product placement people can ACTUALLY get you money, they won't need to take a giant fee upfront because they will get great commissions.
