I purchased tickets on June 26th to see Tim McGraw at Red Rocks for his show on September 10. I still haven't received my tickets. All I was told when I purchased them online is that they will be in row 15 and it will be 2 seats together. This is my first time purchasing concert tickets online and it will be my last. I should have used Stub Hub.

I paid 3 times the amount of face value and they have had my $375 since the date of purchase and I have NOTHING to show for it. I have reached out to them several times and keep getting the run around. They stated I will receive the tickets no later than September 3rd. Really??? I am now reading all these terrible reviews about this company claiming they are a scam and I am totally pissed off that I have done business with these people. Tim McGraw has been on my bucket list for years and was excited about the opportunity to see him and not knowing where I am going to be seated and if I will even receive my tickets is a bunch of s**t.

I will put a bad review on every possible website to get the word out about how they do business. I have other friends who bought their tickets on Stub Hub and they were able to print them immediately. Hard lesson learned for sure.

I Googled the box office sales for the new Eccles Theater in Salt Lake City. I was taken to boxofficeticketsales.com The site seemed OK and quoted me ticket prices. By the time the smooth talking salesperson was through my bill for two tickets to Jay Leno totaled $317.40. Because the theater is new, I thought perhaps "Vegas Prices" were in effect. Thinking we probably had great seats, imaging our dismay when we sat in the upper balcony on the LAST row. Many rows in front of us were vacant. My efforts to get some kind of refund were extremely futile to say the least. I found that great tickets were about $60 a piece. Many straight from Broadway productions are now coming to this new state of the art theater and I want to get the word out there to consumers. Buy ONLY from the box office of the theater you're attending. This group should be banned from any ticket sales.

Box office ticket sales scammed me out of $200.00. I purchased tickets on my phone and didn't realize that I had been hijacked to their site. After I called my wife to tell her about the ticket purchase she told me that I had paid too much, double and then some . So I immediately went to the correct site and purchased the tickets. I called Box office ticket sales back who said they told me all sales are final. They then said that they went back and listened to the conversation and verified they told me that. I did not hear that and the sales guy was talking very fast. I did not get to verify what he said . So I called my Credit Card company to put a hold on the payment. I Immediately started getting calls and emails from BOT sales. They said that they take it seriously when you contact the credit card company, I said " Why did you not take it seriously before". Management wanted to make a deal with me, they wanted a three way call with credit card company. Then they sent me a FedEx letter that had to be signed for with the will call ticket info and a $200.00 Amex gift card. The card had been used for ticket purchases and only had $8.00 left on it. These guys are the absolute worst scammers. Do not use them and be careful where you end up looking for tickets because their site is deceiving and it appears you are where you think you should be.

NEVER BUY TICKETS FROM THIS RIP OFF /SCALPER ORGINIZATION. I THOUGHT I WAS BUYING CONCERT TICKETS FROM THE BOX OFFICE OF THE VENUE WHERE THE CONCERT WAS TO BE HELD FIVE MONTHS FROM NOW. TURNS OUT THEY ARE TOTALLY A PROFESSIONAL SCALPER/SCALPING COMPANY. THE SALESMAN ON THE PHONE SOUNDED FRIENDLY ENOUGH WITH THE PURCHASE, HE THEN READ(RATTLED OFF THE FINE PRINT) WHICH I DIDN'T REALLY HEAR/UNDERSTAND. I AGREED TO THE ABSURD PRICE OF $342.26 FOR TWO TICKETS TO THE JOURNEY CONCERT ON 6-9-17 IN THE NOSEBLEED SECTION THINKING THESE WERE THE LAST BEST SEATS AVAILABLE. THE SAME DAY(ABOUT FOUR HOURS LATER) I REALIZED I HAD TO WORK THAT NIGHT AND THE NEXT DAY AND I WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO GO TO THE CONCERT. MY STUPID MISTAKE I KNOW THAT. THE NEXT MORNING I CONTACTED BOX OFFICE TICKET SALES AND EXPLAINED MY SITUATION, THE YOUNG LADY ON THE PHONE TOLD ME THAT THEY ARE A NOT THE BOX OFFICE OF THE VENUE AND THERE WAS NOTHING I COULD DO TO CANCELL MY PURCHASE OF THESE TICKETS, PERIOD. I REQUESTED TO SPEAK TO A MANAGER AND SHE TOLD ME ONE WOULD CALL ME BACK WITHIN TWENTYFOUR HOURS. SHE(NOT A MANAGER) CALLED ME BACK TWO DAYS LATER AND AGAIN TOLD ME I WAS S.O.L. ON CANCELLING THIS PURCHASE, NO WAY AT ALL. I HAVE HAD TO CANCELL PURCHASES I HAVE MADE USING A CHARGE CARD IN THE PAST AND I HAVE NEVER BEEN TOLD WHAT THEY TOLD ME. THESE PEOPLE/THIS COMPANY ARE OBVIOUSLY CHICAGO THUGS/CRIMINALS. I STRONGLY URGE ANY ONE THINKING OF PURCHASING TICKETS FROM THIS COMPANY NOT TO DO IT. TOTAL RIP OFF. CHECK THE INTERNET RIPEPORT POSTS BEFORE YOU DO, DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE(STUPID RUSHED CHOICE) I DID. I HOPE THIS POST SAVES SOMEONE, ANYONE, FROM BEING RIPPED OFF LIKE I WAS.

March 1st 2019 my daughter purchased two tickets on my creditcard in a nose bleed section for a grand total of $931.07, the regular price for these tickets were only in the $100.00 area. Unable to get a refund only moments after, I understood and took the tickets.

I received an email two days ago saying the company needed to speak with me urgently, saying that the barcodes on my ticket were no longer good, the tickets were compromised, two weeks before the show. I expressed to them I'd certainly like a refund, they said they had to offer me tickets of equal value or more and should I decline at that point, I was promised a refund.

They sent me tickets, I told them I didn't want them, they still refused me a refund. I physically cannot sit with my daughter closer to the stage, they told me that it wasn't their problem and still refused a refund. I paid $931.07 for two tickets, for two seats that they are no longer able to produce, and they still refuse to give me my money back. I've filed a complaint with BBB.

Buyers beware. Tickets purchased for a baseball game ( we were tourists in the area) were almost double the price of what we would have paid at the game. A service charge for mailing the tickets even though they are e-mailed ($7.95) Not knowing the area, we also asked for parking, handicapped parking to be exact. We were sold parking to a lot about a mile away in an isolated area. The parking voucher had a phone# , so we called. We were moved to a closer lot, but had to pay for that as well. Each parking purchase was for $30. We were told it would be corrected by cancelling our original parking lot fee. It was not!

As i’ve recently learned Box Office Ticket Sales has just opened a new sales office in Las Vegas NV!!! Their headquarters are located in Omaha Nebraska. They were recently forced out of Chicago Illinois & Miami Florida because those cities & communities don’t welcome scammer companies!! This company tries to recruit their employees via outside "Recruitment Agencies” so that they cannot be held responsible & liable for their employees actions should they decide to commit credit card fraud and blame it on their employees. This is an event ticket brokerage firm that commits "arbitrage” (selling of products that they don’t currently own) and only purchases tickets after they have previously sold them to customers (victims). Obviously the tickets are gouged so that a $60 concert ticket at face value would be resold for $130 (plus fees). Now this company is looking to actively recruit & hire in Las Vegas NV due to the perception that Las Vegas residents know how to sell better than residents in Omaha would. The issue with this is that they’re sorely mistaken if they think that the Las Vegas public are scammers!! If you’re reading this I encourage you to write Las Vegas Mayor Goodman & Clark County Commisioners (Steve Sisolak and Company) and let them know that these scammers will NOT be welcome in our city!! These are the types of scammers that are flowing to the city of Las Vegas due to the influx of professional sports (VGK & Raiders). These companies will setup shop and look to scam the ticket buying public!!

Box Office Tickets Sales – scam –

I attempted to call the Convention Center directly for concert tickets thinking I would get the most direct tickets and (as it turns out unbeknownst to me) my phone call got "mysteriously" diverted to a company called "Box Office Tickets Sales". Unaware that this was not normal I was sold 3 tickets for 69.50 each plus $26 in fees, plus shipping (for e-tickets!) for which I later found that those same tickets have been priced at $33 all along and still are. We were told that the seats we really wanted were around $250 each but in fact also are much less at $78. We compromised for way lesser seats. As it turns out we could have purchased those preferred seats for close to the price we ended up paying. That's $250 each versus $69 ($78) each. This company apparently buys up tickets (calling it 3rd party sales) and resells them for more than double. Isn't that what "scalping" is!

Beware who you get tickets from. Reminiscent of “ scalping”

When confronted with this along and a request for a resolution the "Box Office Ticket Sales" agent strung me along with banter and after a couple of days made their rude excuses to me. I proceeded to let them know I would be giving them very bad reviews in every way I can find. The reaction was anger - rings of guilt to me.
