They also wanted me to become a sub-contractor as part of what they called their "overflow program". Bottom line the customer is sold "my" service at a highly inflated price. Boss then takes their huge portion, and wants me to do the job for less than I would charge. The problem is that they are really deceptive. It truly is unfortunate that I accepted to do the job from them on 6/8/19. There Contact "promised" me that they would do an Immediate pay out after the job was done (via pay pal). I reluctantly took them at their word, and accepted the job. When I arrived and spoke with the customer they were expecting an employee of Boss Optima to be doing the cleaning, not a contracted company. They asked how many jobs I had done with this company and although I have been cleaning carpet for over 10 yrs they were surprised to learn that this was my first job with Boss Optima. When I first arrived a representative called to verify I was onsite. Then they contacted the customer directly to charge her the $259.35 on her credit card even before I had started the job. She was happy with my Service, but was not happy that she was deceived, and paid so much more for the service than needed to. I was supposed to get paid that night. It is now 6/27/19, and I have texted, emailed and called the person I had spoken with but got no response. Then finally a few days ago I was contacted by someone but it wasn't to pay me but rather to make some excuse that the customer is now complaining about an odor. They wanted to see if I would go back out to re-clean the rugs so as to honor their guarantee. I told the representative that I would have no problem going back out as soon as they paid me what was agreed upon. He kept "promising" to get things taken care of, but did nothing. I have been lied to several times by this company. I have never seen any truck from Boss Optima operating in this area, and to my knowledge there isn't anyone here but "affiliates", or contracted workers. They are very deceptive with the unknowing customers and the "affiliates" they say they are working with. I want to get paid, then do not want my companies good name to be associated with this company again.

This company subcontracted a tech with little to no experience in cleaning fine leather and he destroyed an American Leather sofa. Now the company is running me around about fixing it or even returning my calls. They don’t care that they keep getting negative reviews they just move to their next scam. Replacement cost for the sectional is over $17,000. If they think I’m going away they have never met a recovering alcoholic with time on his hands.
We hired them to clean our drapes based on what they told us, that is that they used a best-in-industry priority system and their own special company-trained people which was a lie. They didn't do a good job cleaning or what they promised and they also overcharged my card as I gave them the wrong measurement on the drapes and called them back a few minutes later and told them the mistake and they said they would adjust it and they never did.
All they do is subcontract the work out with anybody they can find in the area and triple charge you for what you could have called and got yourself. They will tell you they don't do that and they use their highly trained people with their special equipment and process and they don't.
Beware and don't get ripped off by Boss Optima and spread the word so others don't either and let's get these scammers shut down.
My wife called Boss Optima for tile cleaning (we are elderly) . The girl told her it had to be prepaid so they charged my card $1980 but when the day came for the appointment no one showed up .
Phone calls to the company had many excuses and offered a refund , however 4 months have gone by and no refund .. They must know our two phones because now just voice mail .
i did a job in november 15st and so far i haven’t always received the service when i call they say they’re going to pay more i think it’s time to look for a lawyer to take the measures… be careful when working for them
Contracted them to clean 7 Turkish rugs. They sold me a 5 step process, said one of their techs was on his way to pickup rugs. Some guy showed up. Local sub-contractor, never worked for the company before. He was asking me questions about the company and said he’d heard they don’t pay once work was done. Had my rugs for over a month. Setup three delivery dates. Finally got the rugs back, they still had pet hair on them and some were damp. Started a dispute claim through my credit card company. Stay away from these scammers!

They contacted us to do work for them because they had an emergency situation and so we moved our schedule around and did it for them. Customer was happy and paid boss optima, but have not paid us after telling us they were sending the payment many many times. That was five months ago and after doing some investigation i have found many vendors that have the same problem. As a small business owner i work very hard for my money and deserve to be paid when we provide a service. Please beware

We were contacted by Boss Optima on 8/7/19 and asked if we would be able to accept an "overflow" job 45 minutes north of me in Cedar City Utah for the following day. We happened to have taken the day off for a doctors appt with our daughter therefore not booking any carpet cleaning appts for the day and agreed to help out and complete the job for them. I was on the phone with the rep for nearly an hour going over all the details of the work order, their company policies, as well as getting signed up to be an affiliate for Boss Optima in order to take "overflow" jobs in the future. The rep informed me that the customer in Cedar City had prepaid for the job for just a little over $1400 and that after costs were paid on their end they would be able to pay us $728. This was contingent on the customer being satisfied with the work we performed. The rep explained their compliance team would contact the customer 2-3 days after the work order was completed and get feedback on how we did. At which time they would approve payment through their billing department as long as the job was satisfied. This process was said to take 7-10 business days to fully complete and have the check written, in the mail and delivered. One of the last things the rep informed me on prior to ending the call was they do have a number of bad reviews and if I did happen to read them to "please not take it personally as the majority of the bad reviews are disgruntled affiliates that no longer work with them." He ended the phone call with reiterating the importance of us taking good care of the customer, not promoting our business to them while in the home and the importance of trust remaining between us in order to remain an affiliate of Boss Optima. The pitch was good. We gave them full trust and between the job itself and drive time, we spent TEN hours the following day 8/8/19 ensuring it was completed and that the customer was happy. Man how I wished I had taken that statement to heart and done some research prior to completing the job.....we were NEVER contacted by boss after the job in regards to how the compliance check went with the customer/payment etc. I gave it well over the ten business days and called them. After numerous attempts and voicemails left to both the billing team as well as the quality team asking for a return call I finally had to call as if I was a customer seeking carpet cleaning in their service dept to get anyone on the phone. The first time I finally got a return call from billing I was told the check had just been mailed out and that I should receive it sometime the following week as it was a Friday at the time. That next week came and went without a check. I called again leaving multiple messages and when I got a call back this time they gave some nonsense story about how billing was behind in our area and they could pay half on 9/27/19 and the other half the following week 10/4/19. This time it would be by company credit card and they requested that Invoice them for the $364 on each date via my square register that we use to process customer credit cards. Those days came and went and still no payment. I have requested the owner of Boss Optima call me directly to discuss the matter to which we have still havent heard anything from. I have read many different reviews on my different websites about Boss Optima during this experience with them and found many similar situations with other "affiliate" companies performing jobs and not getting paid on them. There are also cases where customers have paid upfront for a job and no one has shown up and they've had to fight for months to get their money back through their credit card company. Boss Optima is located in Mesa AZ and will bid customers in other states for jobs, book the date AND take their money upfront not even knowing if they can get an affiliate company to come in their area. I'm thankful that the customer did get his carpets clean in all of this mess but customers and businesses alike... BEWARE.

I just wanted to get the word out again to everyone looking into boss optima. I've done 2 jobs for them and they have paid me for the job it did back in March of 2019. Boss Optima We were contacted to do a job in our area by this company. We did the job on May 2, 2018. They get paid by credit card when the job is booked. I got an email a couple days later telling us we had great reviews from the customer and our check wiuld be mailed out in the next 5 days. We are still getting the run around. We have informed the homeowner that we haven’t been paid by them and he said he would do whatever he could to help us get paid. We have made probably 50+ calls. People should know that this company stalks the internet for people looking for jobs and gets in touch with them and charges twice as much to call someone in their area to come do the work then they keep your payment.
