Travis Burelle with Boost Works ripped me off for approx. $20,000.00. At this time, Travis owes me a Precision 76mm ball bearing turbo and a complete LS long block engine with Kenne Bell supercharger.
I was referred to Travis by a friend who met Travis on SVT Performance mustang forums. Travis sold my friend a complete 5.0 coyote engine and transmission out of a new car for a great price. My friend's experience with Travis couldn't have gone smoother from invoice to payment to shipping to delivery. After hearing great things about Travis, I called him.
Travis was previously working for Hennesey, but informed me that he wanted to start his own business, Boost Works. Travis and I reached an agreement in 2013 for (3) engines for a total price of $60K. I understood that custom high hp engines took some time to build and didn't expect the engines asap. However, after receiving (2) of the (3) engines and approx 1 year later, I started becoming concerned. I had several conversations with Travis regarding this matter. Travis, and his wife, repeatedly assured me that I wasn't going to get ripped off and not to be concerened. I have several text messages from each of them stating such. A few more months passed and Travis quit answering my text messages and phone calls.
At this time, I only want to receive the engine and turbo that was promised to me. Moving forward, I caution anyone dealing with this guy as he is not an honest guy and will not stand behind his word.
