I just wish that I had done some research (including this site) before contacting Boomerang. I was having problems with Quicken that Quicken SUpport could not fix. In desparation, I googled "Quicken Support: and saw Boomerang. When I called them they gave me names like "Leo", "Alex", etc but they were obviously in India and I could hear the call center chatter in the background. However, I needed help with Quicken, they promised me they could fix Quicken problems and I have had good service with "offshore" Service inthe past.

To make a long story short, they talked me into "sharing" my PC with them so they could fix the Quicken problem more easily. They clicked around my screen a number of times and then told me that my Quicken software had a "worm" and I needed a "Firewall" installed to prevent it form coming back. I should have been more cautious but I had the Flu at the time and guess I wasn't thinking clearly. In a few moments, they told me that they had fixed Quicken and installed the firewall so it would not happen again --and proceeded to charge me "only" $399 (because I am a Senior Citizen). I had no new transactionsto test Quicken with so I had to take thier word it was fixed.

Next day, used the visa card and quickly discover that the problem WAS NOT FIXED! Moreover, there is no "firewall" installed! My Visa was charge $399.99 before I got off th ephone with them! Turned out the problem was not with Quicken, not with my PC but with my bank --so there was no way that Boomerang (or Quicken) could have "fixed it".

Multiple calls to this company have yielded nothing. I have reported them to Intel, to several banks, to Attorneys General in two states and 3 BBB's. Boomerang has called to offer "partial refunds" IF I would send them "Documentiation" that I asked each of those agencies to forget my complaints! This is an out-and-out SCAM company and not to be trusted.

I recently supposedly infected with a virus while i was reading a research paper on a princston university website. i contacted Malwarebytes both by email and phone. 2 days later after no responce i called the 1-800 number i found online related to Malewarebytes. the company was Boomerang Tech Solutions, they supposedly removed the Gh0st RAT trojan and reinstalled Malwarebytes onto my computer charging me $210.99 to repair. I got suspicious when they refused to provide me with the data associated to the "hack" like ip addresses file names etc. before they did the repairs i repeatedly asked for the data so i could forward it to both the university and police for follow up. after they were done "repairing" i asked for the data in which they replied OH!! we deleted it. i said why would you delete IP adresses and subnet addresses and all other critical info? answer oh i don't know. i later had someone come look at my computer and they looked up boomerang finding they are a scam. the irony is i paid for my sub to malewarebytes so why would you charge me $210.99 to fix it if my antivirus failed to protect. i called them asking for a refund as i head to the police to report them. they replied our billing will call and claimed the reports of their company was a different company pretending to be them. i called bull on it . this is the first real attack i have had and it wasn't the typical pop-up call this number. these people align themselves with a legit company defrauding them. these guys need to be shut down. they hide trojans and other viruses in adds that defeat a given software than claim the can fix it and than reinstall the very software you had for a premium.

I called up the company for some issues related to my financial software. At the very first glimpse it seems little scary to give access to my pc my card info to a unknown company. But the technician Bob took care of my issue very nicely and fixed all my issues even before charging me anything. He said once you are satisfied then only we will charge you although they had all my card info and my signed contract document.

They did not miss used that all the technician sales rep very very polite and humble. They not only fixed my pc my wife too had some concern on her laptop they took care of that too even though it was not under their contract i personaly felt really nice . So why am i writing this here is becoz while the technician was working on my system my wife showed me the reviews about the company on google i saw their were 2-3 negative reviews about the company and i wanted to cancel it.

But when spoke to a gentlemen called Fredy he said that’s ok sir if you are not comfortable we will not charge you even though the issue was resolved and my pc and software was working amazingly well then out of curiosity asked him why you have bad reviews on internet.

he said sit it happen many competitors are out there who want to d frame the company they put bad review about the company and they he showed me the user review on google i saw approx. 20-25 good riewes about the company and only 2-3 negative so i was shocked y does google only show negative on top for such a good people and i paid them my system is working fine since then i called them up 3-4 more times for some suggestions and other problem they helped me everything=time i called so would like people to know don’t just judge the company only by few negative reviews online. and most importantly the company like google rip off should take care of these thing so that consumer can get in touch with some good company like this.

I highly recommend this company as they will not charge you unless and until they fixed you issue, so you are always on safe side get you issue fix then pay them off.
