Do not buy a car from this dealer. Like most buy here pay here lots, they get their cars from auction, but the problem with these guys is, they have a small lot with less than 15 cars. Because of that, they churn and repo every car to resell to another unsuspecting buyer. They do not fix anything on the car prior to purchase. It goes from auction to lot,but they will tell you that their mechanic down the street gave it an inspection, and it is in great shape. Bought from here, had to put over 1k in it. Brought to their mechanic "down the street" who said he never saw the car.

Made all my payments. Some were a day late and they blew up my phone threathening to repo. When you get near the end of your payment term, they try to find any reason to repo the car to resell and make another commission. My car had been sold by them three times prior to me buying it. A 2002 Ford. They will tell you they are "helping" people re establish credit, but they don't report to the credit bureaus. My last payment wasn't even due for almost a month, and they threathened to repo if I was a minute late. If you don't call in a payment or go in in person, and send them a check or money order, they won't post the payment for a few days and hit you with a late charge. Not nice people. Stay away

My fiance and I went to Bishop Motorsports Incorporated on Sunday October 1st to either trade in a car we had towards a different vehicle or purchase a new used vehicle. When we arrived we were greeted by two nice gentleman from what we could tell and my fiance suggested we try test driving the Ford Explorer 2005. Well upon test-driving we noticed there was a squealing sound , which from past experience is usually a serpentine belt or one of the pullys on the engine. We returned from the test drive my fiance informed the owner there's a really awful squealing that's happening with the car if he can fix that which he agreed to we would purchase the vehicle. So he then had his shoddy mechanic tighten the tensioner pulley which temporarily alleviated the squeaking so as we were leaving the lot the squeaking wasn't occurring until I accelerated on Palm Beach Boulevard towards our house to which the squealing started again. We took the car home my fiance contacted the owner of the dealership and he did not answer the phone so the next day we took the car to our friends house turned it on he said it's got to be the Serpentine belt. So we went to Advanced Auto purchased a new belt. We then took the car and the new belt back to Bishop Motorsports to have his mechanic install the new serpentine belt. Because we were informed if we buy the parts his mechanic will do the labor. This is verbatim What the owner of the company told us.

Upon arrival on the second day of having the car the mechanic was not there the owner was there. So my fiance suggested "well I can change the belt it doesn't take a rocket scientist to do that" we change the belt. The squealing subsided. Then we went to go drive the car the same day and it started again. So now it's not the belt because we've replaced it and the tensioner pulley has been tightened so it couldn't be that. We assumed idler pully even though my fiance spun each pully during the change of the belt and all were or appeared tp be in working order not too tight etc.... My fiance again calls the owner he does not answer again. As if he's avoiding our phone calls.

So day three we are driving the vehicle the squealing is continuing there's a smell of burning rubber, look at the belt the belt is getting shredded again something has to be going on with one of the pulleys in the front or there is something either on one of the pullys causing the belt not to stick or something is shredding the belt, brand new belt $31 belt from Advance Auto. And then to top that day off as we were going over US 41 Bridge in Fort Myers Florida towards North Fort Myers. A very bizarre sound started happening kind of a steady repetitive setting sound very light kind of whisking swishing sound enough for me to go "what is that"?!?! And then the smell of burning electrical wires begin filling the car. As we approached the stoplight I said that's it I need to make a U-turn something's wrong with this car, then it began to shudder. And smoke began to come out the hood. We pulled into IHOP on US 41 park the car open the hood and to our disbelief the air conditioning compressor blew the hose is leaking has a hole in it the whole air conditioner stopped working. My fiance again called the owner of Bishop Motorsports, (owner who was well aware why we were selling our old car because it did not have ac i Am 5 months pregnant he was trying to get us at the car that had decent AC that we could be driving for a while that would be at least reliable to do what we need to do in our lives right now. )

So we called Bishop yet again and tell him look the air conditioning compressor just blew here's where we're located we are coming to you right now we drove from IHOP on u.s. 41 to Bishop Motorsports on Palm Beach Boulevard we got there my fiance began to discuss with the owner what had just happened. The owner then got very aggressive and very rude stating that it's a used car it's fine as it is. There's nothing he's going to do about it he's not fixing the car he's not going to take the car back and give us our money back a huge amount of 700.00 which is all we put down. Then he has the audacity to tell my fiance that " he already did work under that hood how does he know my boyfriend didn't mess the car up even more?!" My fiance had to say to him look I've brought you every part I wanted you to replace in the three days that we've had the car which is ridiculous in an of it self, and your mechanic was never there to do the work so the mundane tasks of changing a serpentine belt which anybody could really do was done by himself. We could no longer put up with the squealing and the smell of burning rubber so the dude is trying to blame my boyfriend for a shotty car that he sold us. luckily there was another person there who actually filled out the paperwork to sell the car to us on October 1st and he kind of mediated the situation saying look let's have our personal friend mechanic (precision automotive on palm beach) look at the vehicle tell us what's wrong with it and go from there, well they set an appointment up a week later from that day which was October 5th 2017 which would be today Wednesday October 11th at 9 a.m. .

Our car is now sitting at a mechanic shop and we're just waiting to see what Bishop says to the mechanic whether or not they're going to even fix the vehicle or not. we found out what's wrong with the car and it was a part that neither my boyfriend had touched I hadn't touched that is eating through the housing block that busted the air conditioning hose that blew the AC compressor in a chain reaction because it wasn't put on right or it was improperly maintenanced, and that was before we purchased the car. So he sold us a car knowing there was an issue knowing how severe the issue was the car is dangerous to drive if it's the part that is damaging the engine is going to continue doing the damage it's going to eat right through the housing block, we're going to go through serpentine belt after serpentine belt after serpentine belt. The mechanic today looks at it and says your serpentine belt is ruined you need a new one. My fiance says I literally just bought a brand new serpentine belt put it on a week ago during all of the calls between bishop and my fiance. All I want is my $700 back like I said I'm a 5 months pregnant woman I can't be walking, especially where I live all over town I thought this car was going to be reliable these men appear to be reliable upstanding men and for them to even wave us off and not even the option of fixing something that was already broken. And that their mechanic should have diagnosed the day we were there purchasing the car figuring out what the squealing was. I had to do my own research on Ford's forums and figure out what could possibly be causing this but again I am not a mechanic myself so all I could do is read and research.

I am so disappointed that somebody would do this to anybody in general let alone a woman that's pregnant and that they know and said here and we're trying to sympathize with me and all this bull s**t. I even had my three-year-old daughter with me when we purchased the car that's what perturbs me most they let us leave that lot very well knowing there was something much worse with the car than just a serpentine belt or an idler pulley. And because it to use car and they're trying to say oh well as is. That's the way you take the car. That's b******* we were within the 72-hour window to back out of the contract and get our money back we called him every single day after leaving the dealership on October 1st with the vehicle every single day until the air conditioner blue never once did he say will you know what let me just take the car back and take your money back and then he could have sold the s***** car to somebody else and then dealt with them with it and we would have been a lot worse without a car but at least we would have had the $700 to actually use towards a decent reliable vehicle.

I've already begun pursuing this at small claims court I am getting my money back I don't care what contract has been signed. I don't care "as is" the car had air conditioner "as is" he was supposed to fix the squealing and it never got fixed verbal contract.
