It takes forever for them to do your project if they do it at all. I had 1 project that needed to be fixed for a mistake of their own (3 months still waiting), and another project that they have not done (2 months still waiting). The company doesn't return your calls, or messages.

Their contract stipulate that they KEEP your money if THEY decide not to do the job..
In December 2016, I signed a contract with Joshua Auten, owner of Big Time Builders in grimes, Iowa. I paid him half of the agreed price to build my garage, replace siding on home, install windows and doors on home. I wrote him a check for almost $16,000. Josh said he would be able to start work in the next month and would be done the beginning of spring.
This is now September 2016. After numerous texts and calls from February through March, Josh finally came out for 3 days between March 15 through March 22 and installed 1 window, 2 doors and 2 storm doors. 1 of the doors and storm doors still is not installed correctly.
We had 1 set back due to a change in building code, which took 2 months to resolve from March 22 through May 25.
Since that time, I have texted and left voicemails for Josh to try to get work done. By Jult 26th, I have 4 walls on my garage with 2 x 4's and are mostly covered with plywood. The front of the garage is also done, but the opening for the garage door is just over 15ft, which will not fit the 16ft garage door and the header(which is an expensive part) is cut at least 1 ft short so it is unusable.
From July 27 to Aug 18, Josh did not reply to my texts or calls. Aug 24th was the first time since July 26th that Josh answered my phone call. He promised he would be out the next Tuesday to get the work done. the next Tuesday he said it was raining and he could not work. It did not rain in Knoxville on Tuesday at all. He said he would call me the next day. Wednesday he said he would be here Thursday. thursday he said he was getting ready to load his truck with material and would be coming down. This is Sunday and he has not replied to phone calls or texts since that last call Thursday morning where he said he would be here by 1pm.
