Bench Craft Company Reviews

They charged my credit card for $395 for an ad. Then a month later they charged the same credit card again for the same amount. When I called they chased me off of the phone (3 times). They never called back, and will only answer if I call from a number I havent used before. Avoid like the plague.

TOTAL SCAM ARTISTS

Bench Craft Company is a total scam!!! Unfortunately, I found out the hard way, by trusting their unscrupulous salespeople. They never send proper invoices or emails for confirmation. They would text me out of the blue and ask for my confirmation. I’d always tell them to email me the details and they didn’t. Various salesmen (and they were all men) would text me at various times of the year that my ad payment was due and I knew I had confirmed it with another salesman and they’d say it was for a different golf course or a scorecard vs. program book, etc. They always had an answer and unfortunately had my credit card on file. They were sending hard copy invoices that were old-fashioned carbon copy invoices and writing on it that it was approved by me, so my accounting department paid it. When they checked with me one day after several years (yes, YEARS!) of advertising, I found they were charging $1500 every few months! The bookkeeper hadn’t questioned me since it was “approved by phone/text by me!” We disputed charges with the credit card company but could only go back a couple months. We ended up having to hire an attorney to go after them and eventually we settled, but I’d warn everyone to learn from my mistake and “just say NO to the Bench Craft thieves!”

I was told that my business would get priority listing on golf scorecards going to all golfers, but found out these where just booklets on the golf courses counter to appeal to outsiders visiting the course. I was trying to appeal to local participants who I found out neveer used these brochures - They also sold me a "discounted deal" by agreeing to a two year deal for priority listing - what a ripoff!!!

Salesman sold me placement on the golf course score cards. As it turns out my ad was placed in a booklet. Total waste of money. CON JOB
