I placed an order with beadsandcharms.com on April 28. I received an email confirmation of my order and my credit card was immediately charged. I have been ordering from this website since 2012 and while they are slow to ship at times (1-2 weeks) I have always received my order. By mid-May I had not received my order and I began to worry. I contacted them through their website contact form on May 16, May 18 and May 20 and received no response. Their website has no phone number or email address, but I did find that information on BBB website (where they are not accredited and have an F rating currently).
There are several complaints on the BBB website (you have to look for them under Wisconsin Plaza Beads and Charms). They have apparently been scamming many others too. I emailed them and called them and there was no answer or response. I filed a complaint with BBB at the beginning of June. I received a response from BBB today stating that they made multiple attempts to contact them and received no response. Today I went to their website and it is gone. I guess I will have to file a chargeback with my credit card company now and try to get the money back. If their website ever does resurface it should be shut down. Do not buy from this company - they take your money!
