BattlEye Reviews

I'm not much of a gamer but has previously bought Arma 3 Ultimate Edition with some extra DLC's because I only fly chopper in the game since I can't fly real aircraft anymore.

I'm also no script kiddie that tries to cheat. There are more important things in life for me and my family. After months of not using my steam account. on July 13th I discovered that like so many others, my steam account had been taken over by someone unknown.

Once the account was recovered using my credit card I immediately changed my password which is very long and complicated based on a formula I use that changes every six months and uses upper and lower case characters and special characters. I do this for security reasons because I have IT experience.

Once I got back into my Steam account I proceeded to purchase the Arma 3 DLC S.O.G. Prairie Fire and Art of war because it was a charity. When I tried to play online I discovered the very same day that I was Globally Banned by BattlEye on behalf of the game developer who would be Bohemia.

In a never ending circle jerk of no accountability in trying to appeal to the back hole that BattlEye is I discovered and pretty glowing and obvious scam that's going on to fleece paying customers of more money by forcing them to have to repurchase their games over again. Like my account which had no gaming time while it was taken over by someone unknown I was Globally banned anyway without any reason.

BattlEye:Global Ban #7353f1

Trying to appeal the ban is met with silence like so many other victims of this Global Ban with the ultimate intent of forcing the customer to have to repurchase the game. I began to scrape many forums and discovered that this has become an increasing problem since 2018 which I estimate in the thousands.

Those who are particularly affected are those who leave their accounts unused for a period of time which would suggest there are entities inside Steam who are looking for unused accounts. Others have just purchased a game only to be Globally banned shortly after.

Some I've spoke to have had several Global Bans on several games over the years and they ultimately feel helpless having to shell out more money for the same game over again. What I've proposed to Bohemia, BattlEye and Steam is they either offer a solution to these unjust global bans that does not involve forcing customers to have to pay again for the same product or I thoroughly intend on perusing this to the point of finding enough people to file a class action case.

In my own case I require this global ban to be reversed or I am refunded for my purchase of Arma 3 ultimate Edition and related DLC's fully. Without satisfaction I will continue this peruse on principal because I see far too many victims of this scam perpetrated by BattlEye et al.

My account (Ange1.Dus1) Was falsely banned by battle eye in Rainbow Six Siege. I have made multiple attempts to dispute this ban with ubisoft but I have been told many times that they cannot unban me as I "Violated the Code of Conduct" even though I have followed everything in the code of conduct and whenever I request a Direct quote from the code of conduct on why I was banned all I get told is that disclosing that will "Violate the integrety of their internal systems."

Battleye has been worse and has ignored my email altogether

I purchased my PC from one of my friends last week and I decided I want to buy siege to play to play with the new update on my new pc (normally I play on my Xbox).

When I went to play, I was randomly banned for no reason. I asked my friend about this and he said it might be because when he used the PC i bought he got banned on there for cheating or something.

The only thing I didn't understand was that my pc was reset and wiped clean and I am using a totally different account and GPU than he did, so how was I banned? I think maybe it is hardware related like from his processor or motherboard and now I cant play the game because it is a used PC. I can't afford to buy a new PC or buy a new processor and I would like to play the game.

BE has a reputation of not contacting back those who file reports and open cases and that is totally unfair. I did not get what I paid for as I was unable to play almost less than 20 minutes after installing the game. Now after I am not able to play, both BE and Ubisoft are refusing to cooperate with me and fix the issue. SO FRUSTRATING!

Exactly one week ago, I was loading up Bohemia Interactive's ArmA 3. When I went on to an online multiplayer server, a message popped up stating that I have been globally banned off of all BI games. BS. I have spent over 100 USD on these games, so why would I be hacking? Come on BattlEye, seriously. This is obvious of what they are doing. When a player has 100+ hours they ban you to make you re-buy the game on another steam account.
