Mike McCullough told me that because I took a few cars to Mecum that I would be downgraded and wasn't welcome at Barrett-Jackson. I told him it was just a business decision. He said Craig and Carolyn Jackson don't care, and that they only allow people who are loyal to them 100%. Then I see Mr. Stalupi in the front row buying a bunch of cars from Mecum on TV last week. Mike, are you going to tell him you don't want to do business with him anymore because he's not loyal. I can't wait until ritchie brothers gets going. The people at Barrett don't know how to treat their customers right.

Mike McCullough told me if I consign my car to an auction, I have to do it no reserve, and can't buy it back of it doesn't bring enough. But I saw some employee standing with Mike buy a truck on the auction stage at Mohegan Sun last year When the truck barely made any money. So they can co it, but I can't!! Shady!!!!

I sent in our paperwork and shipped the cars from my shop on the east coast to the auction, and was told when I got there that I had a problem with a VIN that the people in the office didnt catch earlier. They waited until I got there to tell me there was a problem I wasnt aware of even though I sent our papers in months earlier!!!! When I got there I had an exchange with some new jerk named Mike McCullough (who said he is Gary Bennett's replacement) who talked to me like I was a kid, really condescending, and he said he could help me but WOULDN'T because he was too busy and had more important people to deal with. I used to deal with Gary and Brian all the time, and they always were more than accommodating if I ever had a problem with a car. Mike's behavior is unacceptable, and I'll never do business with them again!

Barrett Jackson the big TV car auctioneer isn't what it appears to be.Their appraiser told me my car would fetch $70-$80k at their auction and it would do better without a reserve. When I was delivering the car, they noticed the dash Vin tag wasn't there. The car was a complete restoration and it must have gotten lost. They helped me locate a glass company and referred me to a guy who could make a Vin tag and provide original rivets. Barrett Jackson employee, Sean helped through out the process with pulling the car from the main viewing area to way out back, away from the crowds. Affordable Glass came, pulled the windshield and then the Vin tag was put on in front of Sean from Barrett Jackson. (who volunteered to put it on.) The car was reassembled and two days latter put on the auction block with no disclosure of the Vin tag mishap. They spent 28 seconds on my car in the auction versus 3+ minutes on other cars., my car is $150k build and beautiful car. It went for $55k and the auction was ended abruptly. (TV commercial) They never showed the under carriage which was highly detailed. 95% of the crowd is not bidders but spectators watching that buy a ticket to come in. Barrett Jackson gets a 10% buyers premium and an 8% sellers fee. I had offers in the $60's for my car in Maine. So I paid, $2100 to ship it to Florida, air flight and hotel, plus they charged me $1200 for putting it on it "prime time". Don't list a car in their auction, go to buy only. Also on the gala night there were a lot of hookers working the room. No one seemed to care and just let it go. Speaking to locals who work the show every year say it's a routine thing. PS - Before Barrett Jackson gets their panties in a bunch, I recorded everything, the phone call with the appraisal amount, the windshield and Vin tag operation with Sean the employee and have all my text messages with Brian Rose, employee of Barrett Jackson. It would be interesting to hear what the Florida State Police who license and investigate car dealers and auctioneers would have to say about this.

I took a car to auction and was talked into selling it no reserve by Steve Chryssos. He told me my car would bring around $125,000 - $150,000, and that it would go between a certain time frame. Well it ran two hours earlier than he had said it would, I was stuck on a shuttle trying to get to the auction grounds and missed it. He told me I could bid on it when I was there and buy it back if I needed too, but I was too late. It sold for less than Half of what he said it would go for. After I got there he was up in the sky box and I wasn't allowed to go up there to talk to him because the girl said the Sky box is only for Craig Jackson and Carolyn Mullany's friends. Then he wouldn't call me back after I called a bunch of times. I asked my daughter to get me information on this shyster and she told me his name isn't even Steven Chryssos, it's Steven Chryssochoos, and I bet Barrett-Jackson let's him use this fake name because he has something to hide! Don't do business with these thieves! They lie to rip you off! My car was my baby, and that shyster conned me to make money off of me!
