I was in pain and distress after having a car accident. I went to physio, the doctors, a chiropractor and while it helped temporarily my insurance company was about to cut me off funds for ongoing treatment and income replacement. Something we pay our insurance companies to provide when we are injured in a motor vehicle accident. I decided to hire a lawyer. I searched and found Barrapp Law. They said they would send a lawyer to meet me at my home. When the person arrived he barely spoke english and in hindsight was only there to "sign me up". He knew very little however he assured me that my appointed lawyer would meet with me in the coming weeks. I was informed my lawyer was Harlan Pottins. He called me and requested all of my files from the insurance company. Once he had reviewed them he would come and visit me. Almost 2 years later i still have not met him. I went to numerous appointments with the insurance companies doctors and psychiatrists. Still my lawyer had not scheduled anything. Finally after a year he scheduled an appointment with their physchiatrist. I had to cancel and although I continue to try and reach him to reschedule...nothing.
I have asked for written updates re: the negotiations with the insurance company whom has now cut me off from all benefits. I have received nothing from Barrapp law. It is as if they are happy to stretch things out so that they can get more of any meagre settlement if and when I get it.
They are totally unscrupulous and customer service is not even in their vocabulary. Who does not receive any updates nor communications from their lawyer during an ongoing lawsuit. Barrapp clients for sure.
They are a bunch of incompetent lawyers. What more can I say?! stay away from Barapp Law. Harlan Pottins is so stupid. I had dealings with him and I question his intelligence level and additionally, he level of commitment to professionalism.
