On 29/09/15 my computer slows down, acts up, I use recovery & then... A large popup comes on my screen blocking my access. I could not X it out as it would not allow this. It was made to look as authentic WARNING "Microsoft message" : Your computer has been compromised with virus' & hackers. To contact Technician to help repair these problems click here...

A (Tech named Keith) comes on a chat, says he works for Microsoft and will take me thru it.Then asks for my phone no. Believing he is microsoft he asks me to type in something so he can enter my computer to see what happened. (Program errors = 29,751, System errors = 59,699) supposedly from hacker viruses!...

I am no Techi so he says no problem he can fix it, just sit back & let him work on it, it may take a while & when he is done he will assign a reg Tech for me. He would put an icon on desktop to allow me to contact him by dble click on it.

I happened right click on his icon later that day & click 'properties'. He is ADMIN of my computer! I check my Admin site & he has added himself to admin beside my name as /Technician. I look to see what he has allowed himself & he has access to EVERYTHING! So I remove his access by clicking DENY on each accesss, then I remove /Technician from Admin & send the icon to trash & empty trash.

Changed password to log on as Admin & any other that I could remember to change. My bank passowd was saved & I tried to delete it but would come back when trying to log on (remember not clicked). So I change that one too.

I check my accts bal's & find there has been a debit to "Aspire Marketing" (US $199) of $274... Canadian!

I contacted Microsoft & they confirm they did not do this as Microsoft doesn't have Aspire Marketing! That I should report it to Microsoft, which I did.

I also went to my bank to report it. They will do a fraud investigation. They also issued me a new bank card.

I checked my call logs & tried to call them: "We're sorry there is no one here to answer your call"...
