My story is not unique I thought it had to be!! I made an appt for Snap in Dentures I had an exam and x-rays with the Dentist T. Mathew we spoke about doing the bottom first and the top next year meaning this year do the top. But none of that happened.

After my treatment plan I met with financial services they told me it would be $15,067 my portion $$8,676 so I went ahead and paid my portion and had my teeth extracted the following week then months of healing? I get back in the office for a fitting and the Dentist is on vacation and I asked the hygienist when do you put the posts in for the Snap ins??She looked at her computer and said I didn't pay for that!!! I said I paid my entire treatment plan before the work started.

I said have the Dentist call me when she returns no call. I made an appointment and she comes in the room looking all sad saying Donna I am so sorry I am so sorry I said ok fix it because who else is going to fix it? She says I am sorry there is nothing more I can do for you!! I said are you going to at least finished the Dentures in my mouth. She says I am sorry there is nothing more I can do for you?

She abandoned my treatment out of nowhere no explanation. I got a copy of my records from my insurance company and I was charged for things I knew nothing about!! She charged me $690.00 each it's not on my financial statement. She did that!! Where is my money you shady I have morals so I won't call her every disqusting name she should be called

If I could give zero stars I would. I went in for a emergent visit; broken tooth and was told it would need to be pulled. I was given antibiotics and pain meds to hold me over until I could be scheduled and have the tooth pulled and a temporary bridge put in place. I paid for my office visit, which my insurance said I shouldn't have paid, and had to pay in full for the procedure before it would be scheduled. I should have questioned that after looking back but I was in pain and needed relief. I went back for the appt for the temporary bridge and to have the tooth pulled. It was an ALL DAY mess from the time I walked into the door until the time I left. I was left in the waiting room for almost an hour and pulling my tooth was a nightmare. The dentist pulled/broke parts of my tooth and it took all day to have that done with my temporary bridge put in. I have received my bridge and it doesn't fit correctly and has caused pain on a regular basis; I refuse to go back becuase I am afraid of them trying to charge more and causing more issues/pain than they already have. Afterwards I have received insurance EOBs and was extremely overcharged. They have also sent a claim to my insurance carrier for a date that I wasn't seen and by a provider that I never saw. I can't get anyone to call me back in regards to the refund I am due or about the incorrect claim. I have also requested an itemized statement during the several times I have left a message for the "billing department" and have yet to receive a statement. I have contacted my insurance company about the incorrect claim and they are investigating. This happened a year ago and I am still having dental issues with the "work" they done.

In 2019, I purchased full upper and lower partial dentures from Aspen Dental in Rincon, GA. Despite my clear specifications, the dentures I received have never fit properly, causing persistent discomfort and inconvenience.

On June 8, 2023, I returned to Aspen Dental hoping to have the fit of my dentures improved. I was shocked to be charged $90 for this adjustment, especially as it did not result in any improvement. This charge felt particularly unjustified given that the initial issue resulted from the dentures not being correctly fitted at the time of purchase.

In the same visit, Aspen Dental presented me with a $211 bill for future dental cleaning and fillings, scheduled for August. I was asked to pay for these services upfront, before they had been performed. I consider this practice of pre-charging for services not yet rendered to be highly unethical.

I am reporting this issue not with the intention of seeking a personal resolution, but to raise awareness about the business practices I encountered at Aspen Dental. I believe that potential customers should be aware of these issues so they can make informed decisions. It is my hope that by highlighting these issues, future customers can avoid experiencing similar dissatisfaction and that Aspen Dental might reconsider and improve their practices.

I chipped a tooth a few months back. I'd been having problems getting in to see my regular dentist, so I made an appointment with Aspen. I walked in with a chipped tooth and ended up in the business office with a $6k treatment plan. They wanted to pull my whole upper plate and get me a full set of dentures. Then the dentist rushed me into the business office without a chance to discuss options.

I was approved for $2k with their 3rd party financer. They sent me an email March 26/27th about my first payment April 7th. I called them to cancel, they told me I have to call Aspen. The receptionist transferred me to the business manager, and I told her I wanted it canceled. I filled out the form to transfer my records to my og dentist to get a second opinion, which I told aspen. April 7th the payment came out and I called aspen again, this was when she was busy and i was told she would call me back. she never called. I emailed the financing company, and they replied saying Aspen never called. Then I get an abscess in my lower jaw. Aspen didn't give two shits about treating that. They also never sent the records to my original dental office. Yesterday they took another payment out. I make another call to Aspen that wasn't returned. Aspen accepted a payment for work they haven't started and won't be doing.

I'm new to Mt Airy NC as of 12/01. Went to Aspen dental first. Showed my insurance card which pays $1k for the year. I told them I was concerned about getting work done before the end of the year. Aspen dental took xrays and told me I needed partial deep cleaning and 4 crowns replaced. They said I needed to pay $1428 for the cleaning which is $528 more than what other dentists would charge for FULL mouth cleaning. So decided to get 2nd opinion elsewhere.

I came to Aspen Dental office to request copies of my records. Was given hard copy instead of digital.

  • Nov 13, 2022

I recieved a bill stating that I have to pay them $5645.70 for work they did back in Feb, May and June. I have already paid $23,000.00 since they started the dental work which they said was the total for the thing. We paid $10,00.00 in chase and the 13,00.00 was charged on my CareCredit Card. They did tell about this until now that this was a balance that is left on my account. I was going in for several services just about every month and nothing was ever metioned to me until now. I am refuse to pay any more and would like my account to show paid in full.

Aspen dental in saint cloud, florida does not stand behind their money back guarantee and blatantly lie to their customers about their services and procedures. You should be able to have faith and trust a business when they tell you what to except, especially with something as serious as your teeth. But this is not the case with aspen dental in saint cloud, florida. They actual company it is listed under is called cornerstone dentistry holdings pllc.

I hope people find this report and read it in it's entirety. Please be warned!

So to get on with why i am filling this scamion is because i was went in to get dentures for my top teeth only and everything seemed to go well until the instant dentures they made were crooked and my right front tooth was in the center of my nose.

It was very unpleasant to look at and when i brought it up they tried to twist them to the right to make them line up however it was painful and not comfortable. Reluctantly they agreed to make me a new set of instant dentures. Keep in mind i was told that i would receive an instant denture first and then after six months once my gums had healed i would receive my permanent dentures.

So fast forward to scheduling my appointment to get my permanent dentures as i was under the understanding that i would receive. The receptionist schedule the appointment and i showed up excepting to do new impressions so that my permanent dentures would fit properly now that my gums are healed.

Well that's when the problem started. Because that was the first time i was told that the denture i received instantly was my permanent denture. I explained i wasn't told that when i paid for the denture up front. The explained that i signed the paperwork. Which i did, but i signed it from what the office manager caroline told me i would be getting and the process.

In the paperwork it is vague and says "fud reline cold pour pkg" at the bottom. I don't know what that is. But now i'm told that is the finale process. I asked to speak to the office manager however she was on paternity leave so instead i got the assistant office manager a lady by the name of zully i believe who quite frankly is completely worthless and horrible at any sort of customer service.

I was told to come back and speak to caroline that she would be in the next week. So i waited and went back in to speak to her which again she wasn't their. Now i'm thinking they are just telling me more lies so the receptionist says i can talk to the rude worthless assistant manager which i replied just that "no she is worthless" and i would like to to speak to the office manager.

I have still not been able to speak to her. But i did receive a letter saying they would no longer service me and that i would need to find another dentist. The letter stated i had 30 days to come in though for emergencies. Since my dentist was transferred to south orange avenue branch i called them. They scheduled and appointment and i was hopeful up until the day of the appointment when i called to confirm and was told now they can not see me.

They told me to go back to the saint cloud branch which i did and even tho the office manager was there she refused to see me. The assistant manager was very anger that i called her worthless and told me to get out of the office or they were call the cops. All because she is a worthless and rude employee. I left and am now trying to warn others of their deceptive business practices.

Beware of Aspen Dental!! Read all the horror story reviews BEFORE a visit. They kept the money I had to pay up front, but did not provide the service I went for. (Never even saw the dentist/owner in 3 worthless appointments.)

Complaints to B.B.B. and consumer agency were useless. One has to go to court to sue and even if client wins he has to pay expensive lawyers to collect.

Aspen was a costly waste of time and money.

  • Apr 28, 2022

First they charged me over $500 upfront. Then they billed my insurance over $2,000. Later, they sent me another bill for over $700. Nothing was explained to me prior to this. Now my credit is bad because I refuse to be hustled out of so much money.

Not only did they rip me off, but their hygienists are poorly trained and my gums bled for weeks. This business needs to be shut down. Please do not go there folks!

  • Feb 8, 2022

After going for my initial visit, I met with the office manager and signed a treatment plan . I paid the entire cost minus my insurance BEFORE treatment. Now months after treatment completed they are claiming I owe more than 2 thousand dollars.

I have paperwork saying balance is 0, when contacted by phone. They still insist I owe I will be contacting attorney, but wish to warn others.

  • Aug 26, 2021

Had an appointment. Show up and they said the Dr left early. Why didn’t they call or text and let me know? I rescheduled and went for appt and ask why they hadn’t call. They said I wasn’t in their system. How the hell did I get and appt then?

I wanted to get a bottom denture to snap on 4 implants that I had an oral surgeon implant 3 months previously. I ask before the appt if they could do that? They said they could. When I went in for the appt they said I had to see their oral surgeon who couldn’t see me until a month away and I had to pay $480 right then. Why the hell didn’t they tell me that on the phone when I called? Why the hell did they lie and tell me they could do the dentures and didn’t tell me I had to pay $480 to see an oral surgeon and then wait a month even before they would talk to me about getting the implant dentures to snap on the implants that I already had.

I wasted the time and effort 2 times dealing with these incompetent, inconsiderate folks.

  • Dec 4, 2020

I went in and they told me I had to have my teeth pulled and I needed dentures. That was back in January, long story short I couldn't wear them, they didn't fit and rubbed sores on my mouth. They wouldn't fix them so I took the problem to my insurance company. Aspen charged me 1,114 dollars out of pocket and my insurance company said they were only allowed to charge me a 5 dollar deductible. The insurance company told them they had to refund my money in February. They kept saying the refund was processing and eventually in August, the insurance company had to just take the money back. Aspen had a money back guarantee but I still have not received my personal refund. They have said it is processing since February.

I didn't have any money to go to another dentist. In August I finally got in to see another dentist and they are currently working on completing my new set of dentures. I have had 4 appointments with my new dentist. The first 3, they requested x rays and records from Aspen Dental and they said they would "send them right over." On the last visit I had, they asked for my records again and Aspen said I needed to come in to sign a release form. When I went in they said it would take 14 days.

I haven't been able to eat solid food for almost a year now. I can't keep these dentures in for more than about 2 hours without using dental adhesive to glue them in. I have to pay for my new dentures from my new dentist.

Also my new dentist said they cause permanent lower jaw bone damage.

  • Sep 27, 2020

I went here for the first time and had 3 cavities filled. The dentist hit a nerve which affected the vision in my left eye. The vision eventually returned, but I may have permanent nerve damage. My cheek and eye have been twitching ever since.

That is not even the biggest complaint. The lies they told me to make more money is what really has me mad. I was told that I had serious periodontal disease (despite the fact that I have light pink, healthy gums) and that before they could do the crown that I needed, I would have to pay $1052.00 for cleaning and scaling. I did not believe this was necessary, so I visited another dentist 2 weeks later. The hygienist told me I had the cleanest teeth he had ever seen - virtually no calculus. The hygienist and dentist were shocked to hear that I was told I needed cleaning and scaling.

Aspen Dental was aware that I was a cash paying customer with no income at the moment. If they would pull something like this on me, imagine what they are getting from insurance companies through their fraud and deceptive practices. What they charged to fill the cavities is higher than other places in the area and not what they advertise online. They also made me pay in advance which I found extemely strange and unprofessional.

Aspen Dental Manager used high pressure and misleading tactics to con me into doing a credit check I was pressured and mislead to doing a credit check in order for a better discount to be applied for a friend's treatment plan. We were was held for over 2.5 hours after the dental office closed, It was high pressure and misleading when I was in a highly emotional grief stricken state as well as tired, hungry, and dehydrated. The office manager mentally over whelmed me. 2 days later I cancelled several appointments and told the manager NOT TO USE MY CREDIT, I was sending a check to pay only for the painful tooth. They charged and got paid for the proposed treatment plan $7198.00 the night we walked out of the office.

Every Aspen Bill has charges for future appointments that were scheduled, but cancelled and work not done - Example A TOTAL OF 9 PAINFUL BONE REMOVAL EXTRACTS IN 2 DAY. They tried to imply that the work was done, but I want the bills that were signed at each visit, because I know for a fact that the 12/31/18 and several others appointments were cancelled. They scammed me, high pressure sales & lied, charged me for work that was never done, committing consumer fraud.

  • Jul 5, 2020

I went to the Torrington dental office 1st time visitor for just a cleaning. My insurance paid for the cleaning 100% and then they tacked on fraudulent charges on account.

  • Dec 17, 2019

Aspen Dental performed an unecessary procedure and it was done incorrectly. I was lead to believe that the procedure was necessary. Turns out that it was purely cosmetic. After "fixing" my teeth, they chipped in less than two days.

I got nowhere with the dentist or the office so, I filed a dispute with their financing company (Dental First/Comenity). That was an even bigger joke. They refuse to credit my account and Aspen Dental is constantly harrassing me.

They call and leave no message or voicemail, they text and email me everyday. I never even gave them my email address. I want them to stop bothering me and just credit my account. I am no longer a patient there. I have a new dentist who knows what he is doing. I have looked up reviews on Aspen Dental and they are very bad in every state.

I suggest voiding Aspen Dental at all costs.

  • Aug 6, 2019

They do not return your money to you for services. Also there was no complete work done. I was in pain for two weeks with no help from the office in Leesburg. I even tried to contact the headquarters with no reply. I went elsewhere and will never refer anyone to there business.

Apparently they are some back yard out of Mexico company that just does not help people in need. I am requesting my complete refund and to my insurance company also

  • Jul 29, 2019

First went in simple extraction, next extraction made mistake of say wanted to set up a plan to get other teeth fixed a general plan. And everything changed even the Dentist demeanor.

First extraction done same day, second wait to weeks while we charge you way way above customary for a deep cleaning while in pain and on pain medecine is when the finance agreement comes into play. seriously if I had not been in so much pain I don't think I would have fallen for this also I was losing a front tooth and I was truly in desperate position and they know it very well. I am betting that these finance companies are owned by Aspen Dental. Yes I know each is owned by individual Dentist but they all attached somehow.

Wanna bet its through finance agreements. Now partials top and bottom did not work at all, I still getting used to top they don't fit right. But once I got bettter and started realizing what had really happened and started researching laws etc. just a refund on financing bill ain't gonna do it. I will save the remainder of my story because I am pretty sure at this point I may seek legal action.

BEWARE OF ALL ASPEN DENTAL I HAVE SEEN NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS ALL OTHER THE US ALL SEEM TO HAVE ESSENTIALLY THE SAME SCAM SET UP, AND I PERSONALLY AND SICK AND TIRED OF BEING TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF GOOD JOBS, INSURANCE SO I GET TO PAY TRIPLE WHAT SOMEONE ELSE WOULD PAY, why because I have insurance figure I got the money. I don't know what you figured, but I am going to do everything in my power expose, shut down and notify the public. the madness must stop

I am so sick and tired of these theives, liars and cheats thinking they can flag B.A.D. off the Internet. We are offering a service to unsuspecting folks who accidently walk through the doors of Aspen Dental. A brand new website is coming, and FREE shuttle service to a reputible dentist in Mexico will fix your teeth at a fraction of what Aspen Dental charges, AND they WON'T hurt you or rob you or steal your smile. We will reveal our new website close to our first year anniversary!!

“Aspen Dental is coming to California...WATCH OUT”

Aspen Dental Management Inc, Aspen Dental

ADMI you know what you did to my mouth? You had your hygienist seat and seal a permanent crown at the instruction of YOUR dentist. ADMI this is illegal, yet you got away with it. The Dentistry Board did nothing as you already know (how much $$$ do you pay them anyway; just kiddin lol). It was them who told me what you did was illegal, yet they didn't do as much as slap your hand.

Yes even though when I first called in the investigator said, "I hate corporate dentistry." Then you threatened me with your attorney which scared most of the TEAM away, at least in the beginning. Not me though, your scare tactics didn't as much phase me as I lived with the PAIN YOU CAUSED in my mouth. As such, ADMI I have NO OTHER RECOURSE than to dedicate for the rest of my life devoting time each month to warn as many people as possible to Stay Safe; Stay AWAY From Aspen Dental.

I understand you are getting ready to infiltrate the State of CA, and ADMI I'm on the front lines as you pull in like a band of cockroaches. I'm working now in Modesto, but then will head over to Hollister. You see I went to College in Santa Cruz, CA and those areas are VERY familiar to me. As well as Fresno/Clovis/Visalia, and who would have thought, Palm Desert where I once lived at worked.

I am disabled now as you know (your favorite type of victim), but I did work for the college there. YES I am VERY familiar with these areas, and as such what B.A.D. has decided to do is focus primarily on California. NO we are NOT going away......just want to spend our time wisely is all. Aspen Dental, we are just beginning to fight!

-----------------

"Aspen Dental está llegando a California ... CUIDADO"

Aspen Dental Management Inc, Aspen Dental

Aspen Dental, estamos empezando a pelear!

Went in for a routine cleaning and they said it would be $52. For what? Fluoride? Never had to pay for it before. Well I'm cheap so I said I don't want it. (Called and found out that fluoride is paid by my insurance, also fluoride is in toothpaste duh.) So of course they made me sit in the lobby for 30 minutes and people coming in after me went in before me.

After reading the reviews I think they were hoping I would leave since I didn't fall for their fraudulent billing practices. I told the receptionist people coming in after me were going in before me and I'd been waiting 30 minutes. Finally went back and I had the same heavy handed hygienist who gave me the most painful cleaning I've ever had.

Long story short they sent me to an Endodontist for a re-treatment of a root canal done somewhere else. When I came back to have the root canal filling done (routine, standard procedure) the receptionist wondered what I was there for... She handed me a tablet and said it was for the $74 charge for the filling. There was a list of procedures (some from a year ago with a zero balance) plus (wait for it) a $52 charge for a cleaning I hadn't even scheduled yet so they could get my signature committing me to pay for fluoride the next time I got my teeth cleaned.

Said I am not signing this with these other procedures so receptionist removed them. Some regional manager called after I completed their "how did we do" survey. She got pissy with me when I told her that her apology didn't fix the problem.

After reading all the reviews what they tried to do to me is standard for them. They only make comments to clients who give good reviews and their webpage shows 5 stars and Google reviews only shows a 3.8. Very deceptive, egregious and fraudulent business practices. NEVER go to Aspen Dental for your teeth.

  • Jul 7, 2019

I KNOW YOUR PAIN

Very deceptive, egregious and fraudulent business practices. NEVER go to Aspen Dental for your teeth.

Yep, that sums it up. These dogs will do anything for a buck. if it hurts you in any way, oh well. you

I regretfully entered the doors of Aspen Dental April of 2017, and was harmed when the dentist instructed the hygienist to adjust and seat a permanent crown. She was not permitted to do what she did. She was instructed to do what she did because the dentist admitted that he saw an exposed nerve when removing the temporary crown and he decided he didn't want to deal with it. Dr. Mark Habermeyer wherever you ran off to, I'm still dealing with the pain that YOU caused. Your former employer (Leonard Green and Co) doesn't want to deal with it either, nor does George McKee. Well, because of you and Aspen Dental this movement has been born. B.A.D. (Boycott Aspen Dental) See you all at the picket line!! (more info at boycottaspendental.com)

This business engages in bath faith business practices. They demanded payment for services that they did not disclose were being performed nor did they ever disclose the cost for the services until after they were performed. Very dishonest! My first phone call was to inquire about the cost of a cleaning prior to ever scheduling an appointment.

Cost $$84 First visit I was told in advance the cleaning would be. $84. At Checkout was charged $84. My 2nd cleaning I assumed would be the same as the first. No mention was made at check in. nor at ANY time. Upon check-out a payment of $187 was demanded! I never agreed to these charges. Very dishonest. A company should not be allowed to trick consumers like this.

Pursuant to H.R.5111 - Consumer Review Fairness Act of 2016 I am posting publicly my experience with

Two Thirty Dental LLC

owned by

Dr. George McKee

also known as:

Aspen Dental of Klamath Falls, Oregon

Aspen Dental of Roseburg, Oregon and

Dr. Mark Habermeyer DDS

(formerly of Aspen Dental, Klamath Falls, OR)

I am a victim of lies, libel and cover up because this practice refuses to accept responsibility for substandard work done in my mouth. I filed a complaint with the OR Board of Dentistry which was denied. When I called back and talked with the director, it seemed that they missed a key point in my original complaint and advised me to submit another complaint which I have done.

This practice has cost me not only four months of pain (and counting) while I am waiting on others to find fault with their work, but to realize I am the one who will pay the $2,000 to repair the damage they have caused is beyond my comprehension.

Learn more here: www.twothirtydentalcaution.org

Oh and please be advised, although this practice employs licensed dentists, they do NOT do all of the work, but rather pass off advanced responsibilities to their dental assistants (which in some cases is legal to my dismay). I already had a problem caused by another dentist with this tooth, and naively chose Aspen Dental to repair the work. Had I known an actual dentist would NOT be doing ALL of the work, I never would have walked through the doors that day. Enter those doors at your own risk if you so choose, but please post your comments as soon as possible at the above website link if you too have had a bad experience. If I can warn even one person, preventing them from the tremendous pain and suffering I’ve endured, then I can say at least there is something good to come out of this dental disaster. Please, don’t become their next victim! It’s not fun; it's extremely painful, at least that was my experience.

This website is specifically for Aspen Dental of Klamath Falls, Oregon, and Aspen Dental of Roseburg, Oregon. If you have had trouble with a different Aspen Dental office please do not post here. Thank you.

I went to Aspen Dental in Medford, MA to get a cleaning and a few cavities filled. After my initial consultation, I was given an estimate for what the fillings would cost. The price was about $275 for all the work, and they informed me they accept my insurance. I signed the paper and paid in full, upfront.

After two more visits to get all my cavities filled, I thought I was all set as I paid the full amount of the agreed upon price. One month later I recieved a bill for over $850. I was outraged! How could they charge me 4x the amount that they originally told me it would be?

Aspen Dental has a motto which is, "Peace of mind promise." and they go on to say that you will never get charged for any suprise fees. Well they did the exact opposite in this case. They told me a price, I paid it, then they charged me 4x the ammount after the fact. If I had known it would have been almost $1,000 to fill some cavaties, I never would have done it.

I called them up for months, and at one point even had a service rep tell me they would clear my balance because I did indeed pay what was estimated. That did not end up happening as they have turned my bill over to debt collectors who have been hasseling me for months now.

Refund money, and replace Gold crown that was already done previously.

  • May 10, 2017

Since they have not sent my records I am unable to give exact dates. But I'm sure I got ripped off first with being charged over $7000.00 for a partial on bottom and a full upper. Than there was the selling of their outstanding guarantee and warranty. Got the final dentures on 5/3/17, I immediately told them they did not fit right and hurt. They filed it down some and told me I need to get use to them. I called back next day beccause they had rubbed a sore on My gums and after about a half hour night before was crying to try and get them out. I called and told them I couldn't put them in because of the sore, which meant I couldn't eat, and therefore unable to take meds because needed food first. They told me to come in, which I did and they had to file more. Told me to use oral gel and if it was still bothering me come in next week, had to go the weekend like that). So I called this morning to get (5/9) in to fix because was still in pain and unable to eat anything but soft foods, they informed me it would be a week!!!! I explained how painful and couldn't wait a week and "oh well that's all we have" got quite upset and hung up. When I tried to call back (they have caller I'd) they would not answer. So I blocked my number and called back and they answered. I went on line to pull up my account and I guess I got blocked from accessing it kept coming up no such account? So now I can't get medical care, can't get an appt for a week, they don't answer phone and blocked my access to my acct. they also have been sitting on a credit of $700+ and never applied the credit to my account which is being charged interest, that would have decreased amt of principle causing less interest, this was requested on 5/3 when they wanted to charge $150 to clean the 8 teeth I have on my lower jaw and she told me it would be credit to Dentfirst. This morning it had not and when I bought that up (5/9) oh they could do it right than. When I requested my records, medical, chart and financial records I had to sign paper and was told they had to Get doctors approval??? They are my records and I don't need approval of an individual to obtain them. Anyone that can help please email me. I am in fixed income and can't afford an attorney so if there is any recourse for this treatment please advise It was not care credit but DentFirst their financing

Aspen Dental, Venice Florida, Dr. Armen Grigoryan

Dentures w/warranty purchased in 5/2014 (directly following cancer treatment)

7 years - ComfiLytes®

These are the rudest, most incompetent bunch of people I've ever encountered. This was a sales pitch from the very beginning and zero accountability.

I opted for the best dentures Aspen offered for this location. Paid $3,905.25 for a full set of dentures including extractions.

From the beginning, it was a nightmare. We asked repeatedly if the prescription for after care was sent to the pharmacy. Yes was the answer. After the procedure, bleeding, (expected), we went to the pharmacy and Aspen had not sent the correct medications. Still bleeding all over the place, we had to wait while they sent it over. There was also no follow-up call to check to see if I was ok.

Things went along fairly normally until my permanent teeth were made. They were given a photo of my original smile and they said they could replicate it. It was very important to me that my smile was not cookie cutter or looking like someone else's mouth. He put the permanent teeth in and I immediately started crying. He had skinny, turned under rabbit teeth made for me! I took them out and put them back on the tray. He was completely taken by surprise. In other words, he IGNORED my concerns, photos and lengthy discussion about the size and shape of the teeth I wanted and PAID for. Every time we discussed it, he assured me that I would be very happy with my new teeth. I wasn't.

The next visit was completely different. I was a nervous wreck going in. Luckily, the teeth were fine. I'm pretty sure I went back once more after that to have my mouth checked and no issues. The only thing that did happen was the DR got a little too happy with the drill and nicked the roof of the denture exposing the material underneath. "Oops," he said.

Time went by and the dentures were becoming loose. I needed an adjustment, which was PART of the 7-year contract and agreement. I hadn't been back in over a year so they forced me to pay and additional $100. for new X-rays. Fine. A few months later I made another appointment for the adjustment.

My appoint was at 4:00 pm. I got there a little early and was not in the dental chair until 4:45 pm. I was without a doubt angry. Once there, as usual, the snippy assistant started talking to me about denture care. I asked her if she even looked at my chart. I said I was there for an adjustment or reline for my denture. She promptly stated that it was not free and there would be a charge for it. It clearly STATES in the contract that Aspen IS responsible for the first adjustment. She left. I got up and left.

Way back at the beginning there was also a very unprofessional assistant Aspen ultimately fired because of her rotten attitude. The staff also told me that I was not the only person who had a bad experience with that particular employee and asked for my "statement" regarding my experience with her.

Aside from all of this, the office "manager" acts like a prison warden. All of these people act entitled and unprofessional. The dentist thinks he's cute or special. It's fake and condescending.

Today, I received a certified letter stating that Grigoryan is no longer my dentist and I cannot be seen at any other Aspen facility! Can you say rip off?

These corporate shysters are just that, shysters. I would definitively say avoid Aspen at all costs. No matter what "deal" they make you. Pay good money to a reputable dentist and avoid these unprofessional thieves.

My wife was swindled by Aspen Dental and Dental First Financing. We are an elderly couple with only Social Security as a fixed income. When she needed dental work she went to Aspen Dental in South Lebanon, Ohio. The cost was $3800 and we could not afford that so my wife was told to pay $800 down and finance the rest. She was then told by Aspen Dental that if she paid $167 a month for 18 months she could avoid the finance charges. Each and every month we struggled and paid the amount due by the due date. The way the contract was written the dates were arranged so that by even paying what was due when it was due she was and is being charged $683.64 interest. My wife was misled and swindled by Aspen Dental because they never disclosed the legal but certainly shady arrangement that she was coerced into signing. The people who need to finance dental work today are told to pay a month ahead to avoid finance charges, my wife was never told that.

I went in to get a bottom denture. I was told I had to get a complete set of dentures.

The cost was to be $500 to be paid beefore I could get them. I paid the money.

The fellow that was doing my impressions was very rude. I have a problem with breathing and told him so that I could not catch my breath at prolonged times. His comment was "you can breath". I have to breath through my mouth most of the time. I have COPD etc.

They made the dentures and I had multiple fittings and came home with dentures, that I have never worn. They do not fit, they are too big. I was told that I couldn't bite with the front teeth. I have tred, in many ways, to complain to company and have never got a answer back. I have since given up and am out $500. I still have the teeth in the container they came in within a ploastic bag. Is there anything I can do?

Wouldn't go here again even if it was free. I had a few fillings done by Dr. Candace Lauderdale and had a very small chip that needed to be fixed in between my front teeth. Instead of filling it in or telling me what she would do, she proceeded in shaving my tooth. She does not communicate while performing her work, like many dentists I have been to. Instead, she laughed and joked with her assistant and didn't make me feel comfortable in telling me what tooth she will be working on and what she will be doing. She later found a "little cavity" in my front tooth and filled it. This was not listed in my treatment plan and I am shocked a dentist would proceed in doing this without speaking to the patient first. She ended up

shaving one tooth and then filling it in and one tooth was shorter than the other (looked very noticeable in pictures.) My enamel on my #8 was gone after she found this "small filling that needed to be done." 2 months later it still bothered me so I came back and complained my tooth is shorter than the other. I came back and another Dr. (Who's bedside manner was much better) filled the tooth and tried to make it less noticeable. 3 weeks later my tooth chips while eating chicken (not hard candy, soft chicken!!!!!) I call the same day and request an appointment. I come in and sit in chair for an hour (I have a 11 month old and had to get a sitter to make it to this appointment.) After sitting in the chair and speaking to

dentist about how no matter how many fillings I get it will chip, I get told they can't do anything and will refund me the price of the filling ($200????) then proceed in telling me they will refund $1,300 (in which they did) after I explain the teeth will now need crowns. They refused to fix my tooth (at least until I find a dentist or can afford a crown, because "dentist isn't comfortable with it.") Maybe I should've been told this before I was sat in the chair for an hour while dentist worked on someone else. After much argumentation and the office manager being rude to me, and feeling completely hopeless that my teeth will ever look good again, they offer me $1,300 and recommend a cosmetic dentist in the area. To

make matters worse, for months since I've gotten work done I experienced nerve pain in my jaw in the areas of the teeth I got filled in. Dr. Lauderdale did not take her time on my fillings and everything was very rushed, tomorrow I will be getting X-rays and finding out whether the area was properly cleaned of my cavities. I came to Aspen of Columbus, GA for fillings and a small chip, with no pain at all in my teeth and now months later I'm having sensitivity to hot and cold, nerve pain (they say it's my sinuses, excuses excuses) and a tooth that keeps chipping from the composite that has been placed after it has been shaved! What a mess this place is. Thanks for my refund, even though I owe twice as much, out

of pocket, to get crowns put on my teeth after the damage this dentist caused. I had healthy teeth before, now at 25 I need crowns. Thanks for the $1,300 refund, no thanks for the pain I now experience, the fillings that weren't properly done, for making one tooth shorter than the other, me being insecure about my smile for the first time in my life, and for the crowns I now need.

Had dental work done at Aspen Dental in., Paducah December 30 2015. 23 teeth were distracted on that day, before the abstraction the hygienist had made an impression, and had manufactured permanent dentures on that day. Total cost of the dentures were $1700 and had to be separately financed. Total cost of the entire procedure was $6400 dollars, billed to my insurance company. They told me that over the course of six months, I would have six new impressions made with these dentures.

I come to find out later that the dentures themselves only had a six month warranty. So at the end of my warranty was my last impression. Which is all very too late to find out that these dentures, were always going to be very uncomfortable and not fit properly. Spoke to a couple other dental institutions. They instructed me that this should not of been done this way. Impression should've been made 4 to 6 months after my gums had healed. The initial set should've been temporary. As I sat in their office on my last visit I read on the wall, "6 Month money back guarantee" "If not 100% satisfied".

They have already planned well ahead of time for this. As the six month warranty runs out on your last impression. I'm still paying for these dentures and they're starting to grow mold. As I absolutely cannot wear them for even a second. I asked them over and over again to remake the denters, but all they came up with were excuses. I have every intention in taking them to court, I am coming for you guys just know that. I have already started filing procedures. I'm going to make my experience as public as possible at my own expense.

I went to Aspen Dental on June 8, 2016. I already knew I needed work done. This work included having a few teeth pulled. After getting the quote of what all the services would cost, I was told that I needed to open a Genesis account. Pretty much a provider specific credit card. Not a problem, I was appoved for the card, however I had to wait 3 days before the provider could charge the bill to this card. That was not a problem as I had to come back in a few days to get the work done. So when I return for the work, I was told that they couldn't do it on a Saturday. No big deal, I had to come back later that week to follow up for post op. So when I returned, no one bothered to complete this charge to Genesis. I had scheduled another follow up for the end of June. I had to cancel this appointment an hour before because of a dead car battery. I called the office to let them know I wouldn't make the appointment and that I needed to speak with someone about the billing issue. Namely that they still hadn't charged anything to Genesis. I had to leave a voicemail during business hours. Not a big deal. The big deal is that no one bothered to call me back. I made repeated attempts throughout the week to contact someone and could not reach anyone by phone. It was a week later that I was finally able to get through to someone, I had to reschedule my appointment and when I went into the office, I was told that they couldn't charge my balance to Genesis because it was 1 day past their 30 day time frame to charge this. They had no idea how to resolve this issue. This has been an ongoing issue for 4 months. The staff doesn't seem concerned about how to resolve this issue. Their solution was to close out the original account and open a new one. When they were told absolutely not, they were not happy. Now they think that I'm going to pay them $2000 that they were supposed to charge to Genesis.

Do yourself a huge favor and do not go to this facility. There is no guarantee on how they will handle your account regarding the financial aspect.

I recently went for my yearly check up to Aspen Dental. Before I received the exam and xrays I confirmed that it will be fully covered. The receptionist stated it would be covered. After receiving xrays and the exam the dentist explains that I need a "scraping" procedure for my teeth. At the end of my appointment, I was speaking with the receptionist who stated the amount of my next appointment's charge would be a whopping $500! I asked why and she went over the charges for the dental scraping and my cavities. I told her I could not afford that and I just needed the dental cleaning. She stated I had to have the scraping. I said I will think about it and get back to you. Two days later I called back and asked if I can just get the cavities filled? (I was concerned more with the cavities due to infections, etc.) The receptionist put me on hold to consult with the dentist. She stated I cannot have the cavities filled until I get the scraping! I was dumbfounded and I told her I will be looking for another dentist. Unbelievable how the dentist did not want to fill the cavities because he wanted me to first pay for a procedure that I feel is not necessary. I am 50 years old. The cavities had more priority than this scraping procedure just because of the pain and infections that can be a result of the cavities.

Where are the dentist that know about health priorities vs. money?

Please go somewhere else.

After having some sensitivity issues, we went to another dentist. My husband & I have different insurances and the other dentist didn't accept his. We realized this after the first appointment. In an effort to simplify our life we wanted to be at the same dentist. We found Aspen Dental and they accepted both our insurances.

The first appointment went okay. X-Rays, a consult. The staff is quite nice.

They told us we both needed crowns. Neither of us had ever had crowns and so this was surprising. And neither of our insurance paid for crowns. I was having some pressure issues as well and so I wanted it fixed as soon as possible. We made the next appointment.

I won't bore you but the appointment was horrible. I was there for over 2 hours and most of that was waiting for the dentist to come back into the room. He did a bit on my teeth and then left for 10-15 minutes. I was crying in pain. The dentist kept saying everything was great. I just kept telling myself to get through it.

We left and I said that was the 2nd worst experience of my life. It was that bad.

Fast forward a month. I was still having major problems. My husband's crown bothers him daily. I went back to the first dentist (who we loved) and he checked everything. I needed root canals in both of the teeth they did crowns on. The dentist there said that he would not have done crowns; he would have done fillings for both teeth (which my insurance covers). He recommended me to a speicialist. I went to Lakewood Ranch Endodontists. They were also quite nice and I would highly recommend them.

Two root canals later, the crowns are still bothering me. I went back to the first dentist to have the root canals filled. The dentist said I was still having too much pain to do anything. He is sending me back to the specialist to have the crowns removed. That's right - the crowns I paid $2500 for are being removed. At my expense. They already shaved them down and they feel too tight. I can still not chew anything harder than rice, bananas, oatmeal...you get the idea.

It has been about two months since Aspen Dental. I have paid another $1000+ to have my mouth fixed and still have a ways to go.

I called Aspen and told them how many problems I was having. They said they'd like me to come in so they could take a look. Hell no. Thankfully I paid with a credit card and so we are disputing the charge. I have both the new dentist (the first dentist) and the specialist backing me up since they had before/after x-rays and notes.

They will actually be knocking me out to remove the crowns.

My husband will also be finding another dentist to correct his problem of having the crown too high. It is a terrible thing to be constantly conscience of your ill fitting crown he said. I am taking narcotics before the pain is still that bad.

PLEASE DO NOT GO TO ASPEN DENTAL! Look up the reviews - they are horrid.

Long story short, Went to aspen dental for a lower jaw partial impression, went back 2 weeks later for the extractions.a hour later the doc finished and went to the lab and come back in and looked at me and said, why didn't you tell me you was getting a partial.i just stared at her in amazement and she yelled back,I can't just put your teeth back in your mouth.needless to say,she had pulled all my teeth and no longer was the partial in the lab any good to me.i had to walk out with no teeth.they have refunded my out of pocket money back,at first refused to refund my insurance company back, until I went around and around with my insurance company and got them to investigate.still waiting on that to happen.they said they was going to correct it a 100% .how do you correct something you can't put back in.they talked oral surgeon for implants, but almost 2months later I still have no teeth and can not get a return call from them.blows my mind that this company can get away with such unprofessional services.i am talking with a lawyer, but also want to do more then a lawsuit.i want the doors shut down to keep anyone else from being a Ginny pig.anything out there please call
