Arya A1 Auto Repair Reviews

Consumer beware...I called Arya Auto repair 6707 N. Clark Street Chicago Illinois 60626-0000 and spoke to a guy by the name of "Ed" who quoted me a price for labor work for a 2007 BMW X3, approximately 104, 000 miles. I told Ed that I had my own parts "Transfer case actuator, and the changing of the transmission casing fluid. He quoted me a price of $250 for 2.5 hours of work. I agreed and he booked me for today October 17, 2023 10:00 a.m. I dropped the vehicle off as scheduled and told Ed that the transfer casing actuator and the fluid was on the back seat. Ed then stated that he would call me once the work was complete. Ed called me approximately 12:30 p.m. and told me that the car was ready. I was elated to say the least. I took the bus to the shop and paid Ed in cash as he had requested. Got a receipt and left. While driving I noticed that the 4x4, abs, and brake light was still on and the transfer casing was making noise. Being mindful that the system may need to calibrate; however, when I stopped at the gas station to get some gas I noticed the old part on the back seat with the full container of transmission fluid. I was livid and said to myself "here we go again" another CROOK. So I called Ed on the phone and ask him why hadn't he put the fluid in? And what he said was is that there was fluid still in the casing so he did not bother to change the fluid. As a mere mortal and listening to the scam. Of course we went back and forth about this. The bottom line is that I told him that the fluid and the transfer case actuator was on the back seat and he's a mechanic and his position is that there was casing fluid in the vehicle so he did not bother to change it. He charged me $250 to take 6 screws out of the dimensions of 10x 7x 4 inch transfer casing actuator, release 2 plugs and replace the new one. Would a mechanic change the oil without changing the filter? Would a mechanic changed the transmission without changing the fluid. We are talking about the fluid that has probably never been changed before. Approximately 104,000 miles, Fraud alert / scam alert. The sad thing once again is that when I tell the whole truth in writing detail by detail. Name, place, time, etc. The culprit will sit in disgust and shame as the narrative has a ring of sheer truth that can not be ignored. By the way there is no warranty on the labor because I brought my own parts. Thank you for reading have a great day.
