ApplianceZone.com Reviews

ApplianceZone.com has no telephone number to call them, which should be your first clue that they are someone you don't want to do business with. After ordering several parts to fix our cooktop, i was sent several emails stating some of the parts were on back-order. When the order was placed, they claimed all parts were in stock. I finally got all of the parts shipped after a 2 1/2 month delay. The last part shipped was not the correct part, although i did order the correct part number.

When i contacted them to have them exchange it for the correct part they claimed that their website states that if they ship the wrong part, they have to be notified within 10 days. Their website has no such disclaimer. Instead, it says if a part is damaged, they must be informed within ten days so they can make a claim against the shipping company. When i filed a BBB complaint, they told BBB that i had cancelled the order and they had refunded all my money! In reality, they charged my credit card over $400 for all the parts, including the $139 part they are refusing to exchange for the part i ordered. Appliance Zone is not a company i would ever recommend to anyone.

Warning about a large but fraudulat company.

All you need to do is read the consumer reports about Appliance Zone and Jim Allen (CEO) and make your decission to proceed with any purchase with this company. Theer is no phone number available to resolve any issues. All transactions will be, only, through their "chat line".

I will not bore you with my experience only to say I live in Alaska and the freeze has begun. My need for what I paid for is paramount but all I receive from this company are excuses about how my transaction, for some unknown reason, "is being held up in their system"...but updates will be comming promptly. There are never any updates unless I contact them and it's back to another excuse. Just study up on who the CEO Jim Allen is and you will get a feeling for if this is a company you want to do business with.

One really needs to be cautious when dealing with internet companies.

Good luck
