On 11/11/14 we called anytime garage door to repair the garage door opener. The door would open fully sometimes, sometimes lift only partially. A technician by the name of John came and told us it wasn't the motor at fault as we thought and that we needed to replace the spring assembly and torque bar.
We did. 10 months later the door failed again with the same fault, sometimes partially opening and sometimes opening all the way. I called them under the guarantee, they came and told me it was now the motor that needed replacing. I had someone else check the motor and was told it was functioning well within spec.
I told them and the tecnician, "John, who claimed to be the manager, became abusive, insisting he was not going to do anything. I made him an offer, if he replaced the spring and if the fault persisted I would buy the new spring and a motor, if ithe door started lifting normally he would honor his guarantee. The technician then got very abusive and stormed off. I strongly suggest this company be avoided like the plague.
