Angel Vision Technologies Inc Reviews

  • Mar 16, 2016

In December of 2014 we contracted AngelVision to do our company vidoe they refer to as an IMPACTMovie. We were very excited. Our saleman was really on top of the project, turning us over to a project manager, making sure we were comfortable with them etc.

Our first clue should have been when we did the 1st interview with the "messaging director" - he was so arrogant and rude but he asked great questions and the project manager, Amanda, really tried to move the lengthy process along. about 45 minutes in, the messaging person told us our time was up and he was really busy - when we knew what direction we wanted to go we could set another appointment. I belive his name was Johnathan Allen. At this point, we called our salesman, Matt Adams, and tried to speak with him about switching to a new script writer at which point he told us that Johnathan was really busy and he did all the 1st interviews.

About a week later our Pm called us wanting to know if we were ready to proceed and to collect any graphics we wanted to use. We asked her about finishing the script information and she waid, it wasn't necessary. they had enough to work with and we'd be able to make any changes once the first script review was set. We sent in clips of videos we'd make previously, the brochure about the product and some 3d imaging. This was at the end of January.

We called in mid-February but the main phone went to voice mail. We called a few days later and a really rude person identified himself as CEO told us someoen would call us back.

Weeks went by then at the end of February we got a call from somone named Paula, we'd never heard of her. She said she was taking over the project and wanted to know how far we were in teh process. We told her and she said she'd get back to us once she knew where we were at. the next day she called and said all was still on track and we set up a script review. I asked her where Amanda was and she told me that Amanda had quit. We did the script review 2 days later and they sent us a few graphics about the diretion of the video. We sent them feedback and got the corrections from the feedback. We signed off to move into the next section. At this point we were only about 2 weeks behind but it looked as if we were making progress. We were assigned a developer named Paul who was really helpful and nice. We also got a call from accounting who told us our 2nd month payment was past due and they were going to bill our credit card on file. We agreed and signed their release form.

By now it was late March and we still were waiting on the 1st round of storyboard phase. We called adn were told Paul was no longer with the company. We again got Paula who reassigned us to a new developer. Turns out it was his 1st project tor AngelVsion and he didn't even know what our project was about. Didn't know the direction wasn't clear where the script was. I called to speak to Paula again and was tranfered to a Penny. She told me that Paula was just out of town and would be back on Monday to expect a call then and she'd try to make sure the new developer had the scrpt. About an hour later the developer called me said he had the script and would be working on the video.

At this point we just wanted our video vinished and told Paula we didn't want anymore changes in personnel. She agreed and apologized - telling us their entire production department had walked out and they were slowly replacing them to complete projects in process already. That was a bit unsettling so we called back to speak to Matt. Turns out, he'd left as well. We called the accounting department and asked if they would just refund our 12K and we'd call it quits. The man we spoke to told us that we were too far along and our contract had stated once we reached a certain part of the proeceess no refunds would be given. i asked to speak to the CEO, Mike Jingozian. 3 days later he called me back from what sounded like a bar and he was slurring his words ranting that everyone was trying to take down his company. i hung up.

i called back the beginning of June hoping things had settled down by then, only to find the phone number was disconnected. went to their website and foudn they had a new number. I called the number and reached the Penny person from previously. She explained they had reorganized and that a company called double pixel was working on their in proces projects and she'd have Justin the PM call me. turns out the CEO called me to ask me for money. I told him we'd paid by credit card in March and had nothing done since then. He gave me his personal number and said he'd call me back.

Months passed - and many attempts to reach him, the company went unanswered. The only person who called me back was Penny and while she was extremely nime told me that they were trying to get all the inproces projects completed but it was slow going because there was no money to pay for projection. Even though we'd already paid. She said I'd have to take that up with the CEO.

This brings me to March of 2016. I called the number to see if there was any movement on the project. 15 months. Their webiste was new and full of helpful information. I took this as a good sign. We'd also recieved an email at the end of December about how they were back and running lean and mean etc offering us a new video at 7500.00 - 5000 less that we'd previously paid. I called the number from the email. got voice mail. I called the CEO number and he answer - like i just woke him up even though it was 1pm in the pacific time zone. Slurred words, sometime incompreshnsible how every one was tyring to steal his business and his employees conspired to binrg him down and he needed money so if i wanted my movie finished i'd have to send him 2000.00.

None of the people i'd spoken too previously were still there. two days later I got a call from Matt, the missing salesman, asking if he could help us with anything that he'd started a new company doing the same thing because the CEO at Angelvision was so unstable. I told him that we just wanted our files and would get our project finished overseas.

the next day the CEO, Mike Jingozian, called me and acted as if we'd never spoken just three days previously. i asked him about the files and he said he didn't know how to get them. said he couldn't find my records because he didn't know how to use the crm. and then told me again for 2500.00 (price went up) he could personally finish my vidoe and would throw in his extensive marketing experience in a siminar he susally charges 999 per person to attend at trade shows.

I just don't undertand how a company with such a great reputation went down hill so fast and furiously. in the words of Whitney Houston "Crack is Whack" - I hope someone does an intervention.

We did track down Penny who told us to contact Double Pixel Studios - who has all the old Angelvision files and is working with their clients. Apparnetly that's where the original designer Paul went to. We contacted him and our project is now being animated. We are hopeful.
