Jennifer Lee and Anthony Miller the owners of Amour Patisserie in Los Gatos, California approached me with an offer to purchase my small wholesale bakery in Belmont, California.

As a single mom I had to sell this business so that I can invest the sales money in a business that requires less hours from me so that I can take care of my 9 years old daughter.

I met with Jennifer and Anthony few times and Jennifer assistant Kent Kim who works at her other business Surface Art Engineering in San Jose drafted a purchase agreement that stated the terms of the sales as 2 payments that are due on the day we sign the agreement and 3 installments payments that are due at the end of each month with the last payment due by no later than August 31, 2016.

The agreement was signed and I received the first 2 payments and handed over the business to them.

To my surprise, just few day before the 1st of the 3 installments become due they contacted me via email to say that they’re no longer willing to make payments because they believe that the price that they agreed to, and signed an agreement about it is too much and exceeds the real value of this business I sold to them.

I contacted them more than few times, directly and thru a hired attorney but they still refused to pay me the rest of the money.

I have reached out to others people that where involved in business transactions with Jennifer Lee and Kent Kim and as it turns out that this is not unusual business practice for them after all. I have reason to believe that they make agreements with small business owners and acquire their assets. Once assets have been placed in their names they make no effort to fulfill their signed agreements.

This leads me to believe there might be other illegal actions that are taking place within Jennifer Lee companies.

I’m a single mother and the money that they fraudulently took from me is all I have to take care of my 9 years old daughter living expenses.

So because of her unethical and fraudulent action, I lost my business and assets to her. A deep digging into Jennifer Lee businesses shows that she registered over 10 companies during these last few years, and most of these companies have no website, no social media accounts and no sign of being a real and legitimate businesses. The funny and sad thing is that she even registered a non-profit organization to assist Korean students. So basically instead of faking out being a philanthropist she should have paid me for the business that she fraudulently stole from me.

She lives in multi-million dollar house in Los Altos Hills but fails to pay $30,000 for a business that she purchased from a single mom. What a shame. Even organized crime entities wouldn’t do that!
